BTS Theory — More than a "simple" Glitch
ARMY, I have a theory that through many of the contents released from 2021 to today in 2025, we ourselves are currently stuck in a Time Loop to prepare us for what's to come next. Just like how HYYH BU Jin time-travelled, we're travelling back to 2017 and then we'll move forward from there when all 7 BTS Members reunite in June.
Let me explain in this long post.
Tumblr media
Disclaimers:
1. This post is my PERSONAL INTERPRETATION/ THEORY / SPECULATION based on MY OWN OBSERVATION. I am NOT, in any way, saying that these are canon to BTS’ (upcoming) plans and/ or the actual BTS Universe (BU).
2. You may NOT use any part of this post as a “Gotcha!” moment against BTS.
3. Contains BU Spoilers.
4. You may agree, or disagree. If it's the latter, you can make your own post of your own interpretation.
5. I’m emphasizing yet again that these theories are in relation to the FICTIONAL “BTS Universe“ story; not the real-life BTS Members.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
1. PLEASE CLICK ALL THE LINKS AND WATCH/ READ ITS CONTENTS BEFORE MOVING ON TO THE NEXT WORD/ SENTENCE/ PART.
2. We'll use this definition of "regressor" from the manhwa community:
"A REGRESSOR is someone who returns to the past by turning back time often as a product of a mysterious magic incident. They'd regress to younger versions of themselves while keeping their memory of the future"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
LET'S START!!!
Tumblr media
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the time of posting this, 5 of the 7 BTS members are still doing their mandatory military service, so of course BH “has no choice” but to bring back or use old OT7 contents. BUT there are just way too many parallels and little, subtle changes for it to be called a “simple throwback” because those said “little, subtle changes” may have actually affected the space-time continuum, causing us to feel either a sense of déjà vu, or Mandela effect… or maybe even both.
Tumblr media
My theory is that we have been going back to December 2017 then RE-LIVING 2018 to 2019. Just like how BU Jin keeps going back to the date April 11th, I say that we ARMY are being time-travelled back specifically to the month and year “December 2017” through the contents BECAUSE OF THE GLITCH.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
PART 1. Wait, what glitch?
We already saw TV screens showing White Noise STATIC as early as No More Dream MV. It's also in the MVs of I NEED U, DOPE, and EPILOGUE: Young Forever, to name a few. The Color Bar TV Static is even included in In The Seom Chapter 3 "DESERT Stage."
Tumblr media
Initially, it was this SUBTLE static, however it developed into the following stages until it reached the OBVIOUS GLITCH:
STAGE 1:
In 2016.01.14 25th SMA’s VCR, “Unknown Signal Transmission” was seen before the glitches in the scenes of DOPE & RUN MVs were shown. I interpret those words as a Regressor from the future interfering with the current timeline.
Tumblr media
STAGE 2:
2017.02.11 Not Today MV teaser: From 00:21, while there’s the TV static on-screen, the sound is just “straight line” which reminds me of the old school TVs when it doesn’t get any signal. Plus, at the end of the teaser, there’s a blank canvas which reminded me of the painted canvas in Jimin's WINGS Short Film… but a blank canvas may symbolize new beginning different from the WINGS Short Film / LY Highlight Reel.
Tumblr media
2017.02.20 Not Today MV= there were minor glitches whenever “Not Today” was shown on screen. BTS were being chased by hooded figures & my interpretation of this is that the running members are Regressor BTS from the future and they’re fighting to change the timeline, which matches the lyrics as well. “A day may come when we lose but it is not today. Today we fight.” Coincidentally, if you slow down in those said lyrics on-screen in the MV, it’s like you’re being sucked in then out while the glitch/ static is present. I interpret that part as a “solid evidence” of a future version of BTS going back in time to change something from their past coz they’re fighting it here in “Not Today.” [thus "Unknown Signal Transmission" in Stage 1]
STAGE 3:
2017.02.22 6th Gaon VCR, from the gray TV static we've seen in the MVs before Stage 1, this time, the TV Static became the well-known Color Bar TV Static. After which, it was followed by the words “NO SIGNAL”. The words “NO SIGNAL” indicate that the display is temporarily not receiving a stable signal from the source, leading to the glitch (visual distortion). Therefore, seeing these words in February 2017 were just precedent to the more-noticeable / glaringly obvious glitches spread throughout most of the subsequent BTS contents, even today in 2025.
Tumblr media
STAGE 4:
2018.04.02, many ARMY worldwide saw glitch & errors in BTS’ MVs, misspelling in BTS’ Blog saying “reversed” instead of “reserved” that resulted in the hashtag #BTSGlitchParty.
My theory is that this was a deliberate move TO INCLUDE THE READER/ AUDIENCE, us BTS’ ARMY, IN THE STORY by letting us spot those "errors".
Tumblr media
The glitch never really left us since it appeared, and to prove this, here's a list of one content with glitch per year starting from 2019 (since I already mentioned from 2013 to 2018 above) until today in 2025...
2019: MAMA VCR, 2020: Interlude: Shadow, 2021: CCTV Live (plus notice the subtle changes in the surroundings BEFORE and AFTER the members disappeared), 2022: We Are Bulletproof, 2023: D-DAY GLITCH film, and the D-DAY logo glitching after the concert ended, 2024: MONOCHROME trailer, 2025: Mona Lisa Teaser + in "HOPE ON THE STAGE TOUR" title, during "Dis-ease", the words, "No Signal" + the static TVs were seen!
Tumblr media
BTW, in HotS Seoul, Hoseok made ARMY say “aniya~ (nope)” after he said “byeong? (dis-ease); and for me, this is HUGE coz for me, he's declaring that there is NO MORE DIS-EASE (discomfort) since they’ve DONE the MANDATORY double-edged sword M.S.; a HUGE difference than when they first released it (because they haven’t enlisted yet + there was a virus, a disease at that time).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
PART 2: So, how do these Glitches connect to the Time Loop?
What happens when there is a glitch? Glitches means that there's interference in the signal. BU Jin went back to April 11th every time there was a “Bad Ending” in that timeline. We also saw in the 2021.12.20 CCTV Live that when there was a glitch, the members disappeared from the current timeline.
So, just like what I implied in Part 1, what if all the glitches we’ve seen so far it’s because someone from the future is interfering with the current timeline; changing or erasing what previously happened to bring in a new timeline?
Coz if you think about it, why else would they bring back old photos of significant events in BTS’ career from 2013-2023 in 2024, but in a SLIGHTLY different angle or pose, or maybe even an unreleased photo from that event, other than to mess with our brain and think “I’ve seen it before.” but no, we actually haven't seen them yet! It’s why I got to put this thread of Spot-The-Difference!
Tumblr media
Other reasons how The Glitch is connected to the Time Loop:
1. BTS' 5th Anniversary Show in the 2018 FESTA (2018.06.13) is entitled “Re;view & Pre;view” with glitch on the 2018 FESTA logo. — Review means to look back to see what's already happened, and Preview means a sneak peek into the future. There's also the semicolon before “view” and a semi-colon's function is "to join two closely related independent clauses (complete sentences) into one, indicating a stronger connection than a comma but less separation than a period" . They literally said that you cannot move forward until you look at your past.
☆ In this FESTA show, after DDAENG, BT21 debuted through a VCR with the last scene was their backs before it glitches to show BTS wearing BT21 onesies to perform ANPANMAN. This is one of the evidences of "HERO theory" which could be connected to why the 6th ARMY Membership concept (July 2019- July 2020) was Super Hero.
Tumblr media
2. It might be related to what Namjoon said in PTD Seoul, “IT'S BEEN 5 YEARS! The spring you've been waiting for is coming”
I already said my theories as to what the 5 YEARS might be on thread but I'll say it again here:
Tumblr media
"The full sentence was, "It’s been 5 years; the spring you’ve been waiting for is coming" w/c could BOTH mean:
The 5 years from 2017 to 2022 = 2017 was the year when SPRING DAY was released, and 2022 was the year when PTD ON STAGE SEOUL happened where Joon said these words. 2022 is also plus, AND also the same year when BU!Jin stopped time traveling, and YEAR MAY 22 was SUPPOSED to be the last in the BU timeline, which I interpreted as the time that BTS’ activities resumes after their Military Service IF the pandemic didn't happen since Bang PD said that BTS already planned for their military service in early 2018, yet they still were supposed to have the MOTS Tour in 2020. And if all the members conscripted at the same time by December 2020 “after MOTS Tour(assuming that their tour months would've been the same as WINGS Tour, spanning from April to December), then they all would've gotten out by May 2022 to continue the timeline. — This would probably happen if the pandemic and lockdown didn't happen in 2020. But since the pandemic DID happen in 2020, ruining their schedules, my other theory is..
The 5 years from 2020 to 2025 — BTS' INITIAL PLAN to enlist after BE album (released: November 2020), up to when all members FINISHES their Military in real life (June 2025). Coz, like what's said in Suchwita ep.21 with Jungkook, “2025: For our second "Most Beautiful Moment in Life" ”
Tumblr media
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Part 3. So, why is December 2017 the starting point of ARMY’s Time Loop?
December 2017 to early 2018 was a delicate time period. Bang PD shared in this CNN interview that BTS was discussing doing the Military Service since early 2018, which explains why…
1. In the 2017 MAMA (dated: December 1, 2017) VCR, the words “The Second Chapter” appeared and there were lots of GLITCHES on the members’ bodies, the scenes from LY Highlight Reel, and on the TV Screens. However before their performances, the TV screens exploded. It’s also in this same award show where the iconic RED Background on 7 silhouettes Mic Drop was born, and it’s parallel to when Hobi performed Mic Drop with red lights all over in Paris, France at Gala Des Pièces Jaunes
Tumblr media
2. In THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL (Dec. 8 to 10, 2017), BTS recounted their painful past thru the Opening VCR. Then ended the concert with the words “Special Thanks to our Chapter 1, ARMY.”
This is also parallel to Hobi’s Paris performance because Hobi performed with an orchestra on stage, and the last time BTS had any string ensemble on stage with them was during The WINGS Tour in 2017.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
Part 4. What older contents (mostly from 2017, 2018, 2019) are parallels to those that were released from 2021 up to now that proves we’ve been time-travelling with potential re-writing of the timeline?
1. Songs
• N.O. (2013) — ON (2021) • Boy in Luv (2013) — Boy with Luv (2021) • No More Dream (2013) — Dream (coming soon???)
2. blue and white school uniform

5. Baby Photos from the 5th Term ARMY Membership Concept (5th ARMY Term: June 2018 to June 2019)
• Big Hit used those Baby Photos for the 2024-2025 Birthday Greeting cycle • Namjoon changed his IG pfp to a new toddler pic, then  Hobi used his 5th Term baby photo as his tiktok pfp • In The Seom's 2025.04.03 Play Pass
6.  Prince, and Sailor Outfits of 5th Term ARMY Membership Concepts 2 & 3 (May 2018 to June 2019):
• In The Seom: released those outfits in February 2024 and January 2025
7. The act of reminiscing / recounting the past BEFORE MOVING ON

9. Smeraldo
• Jimin’s track in MUSE “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” • 1 day before Hobi got released, the Smeraldo account on IG [that's usually inactive] posted a Story saying “Thank you for your purchase”.... on the next day, we saw Jin holding a bouquet of blue/ purple flowers and gave it to Hobi to welcome him back from getting discharged
10. Choose-Your-OWN-ADVENTURE (CYOA) Games
• BTS World • BTS World Season 2 • BTS Universe Story • Jin's Ending is a Happy Ending
11. Doors
• In every BTS Concert VCR • Proof Concept photo "Door ver."

Tumblr media
Part 5: Where do we go from here? What's next?
This time loop might result either in a change since one of HYYH’s song is ‘Butterfly’, and butterflies are symbols of transformation.
The Time Loop could (potentially) be stopped and the Timeline would only move forward AND CHANGE once all the members have reunited in June 2025 and then released their new OT7 album, showing us The Next Chapter.
For now, I think our biggest clue lies in the juxtaposition seen AND heard 2019 MAMA VCR wherein the voice said "Present Meets Future: Eternal Journey", however the words on the screen is different; it was "Future Meets Past: Eternal Journey".
youtube
In connection to the video above, here are my theories on what might happen next since there was a "Re;view" and a "Pre;view":
Continuation of Map Of The Soul as they found their true selves
The "preview" of what's to come can be seen in the Solo Albums that BTS released which are reflections of who they are, and because the spectrum of their music's style heard in their solo albums were so vast, it reminded me of the time when Namjoon said, “the SEVEN of us are on a boat, LOOKING in different directions, but GOING the same way.” Because their sense if self has been experienced thru their solo albums, we could see the continuation of Map Of The Soul, and the culmination of MOTS might possibly through an IN-PERSON concert in the future because as Namjoon said in the Love Yourself: Answer Press Conference:
"For a singer, [their work] is completed on stage. We have shown everything through our stage. That person’s music and the visuals they want to show are all shown through concerts and albums. All our members love music and we have strived to show that."
At the same time, we also heard Taehyung say, “what if they perform their solo songs in their reunion concert?” So, there’s that.
Additionally, in my opinion, Jin's "Running Wild" is a song for AND about BTS AND ARMY. It's a promise that after all these years of waiting, we will still be together and our journey together will be unrestricted as we run wild together.
Jimin's Rebirth from his MUSE album could also be linked here since that song is like an ode to keep on striving to be the best version of himself. Likewise, I'm also mentioning YOUNG FOREVER here in connection to HYYH / Youth series since if we are forever young, then we will always have the passion, drive, mentality, and desire to stay youthful in spirit, energy, and/or attitude in one's life; we'll be full of enthusiasm for our future, to CARRY ON even when things get hard.
2. Door Theory
In most of BTS’ concert VCRs even today in 2025 with HOPE ON THE STAGE tour, there are doors. SOPE's Solo Concert Tours could also be considered as Doors... and as I've said on my tweet here, perhaps, one day, BTS might be able to pass through their own doors, to be freely up on stage.
3. HERO + Dream Theory
• In the Save Me webtoon (HYYH Pt.0) , BU Taehyung said that "he’s been seeing dreams of the members". It was also Tae who first approached Jin in his home (signifying that Jin ALSO needs to be saved, and not just the 6 members whom BU Jin has been trying to save).  In January 2025, he released a photobook called “Reve” which translates to  “To dream” (active voice).
• In 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong, we also saw these words "You gave me power You gave me love So now I'm a hero So now I'm a boy with love I'll show you the map of the soul I'll show you the dream" (glitch out) before performance of Intro: O!RUL8,2? to FAKE LOVE
3. ARMY Membership Concept Theory
So far, we’ve seen that the old ARMY Membership Concepts starting from the 5th term being brought to light again since January 2025, such as from 5th term: Childhood photos, to 6th Term: Hero concept, so what if what Joonie said on his 2025.02.01 post, “Act my age? I don't wanna.” is a subtle hint to not living in a fairytale? That would make this a hint either for the 7th Term concept (Fairy Tale) concept.
4. Starting anew / "DREAM ON"
Whether the goal of the time loop is "to erase the past", or "to find my own purpose", what remains is that the time loop in the BU is happening... and this is why I think the song 00:00 (Zero O'Clock) has great significance in these theories — because the song's lyrics go,
"And you gonna be happy. Like that snow that just settled on the ground, let’s breathe as if this is the beginning. And you gonna be happpy. Turn this all around [to] a time when everything is new, Zero O’Clock"
Plus, remember that it's the only B-side that has an MV, and the title even has the words "Dream On" in it.
5. The SEA / ETERNAL JOURNEY with ETERNAL YOUTH
The photocard holder inclusion in the MERCH BOX of their Solo Albums could be connected together to make the words “When we’re together, even the desert becomes the sea.”
Back in the lyrics of SEA [the hidden track /  CD-only track of LY: HER album (the first in the series)], RM said,
“Ocean, desert, the world Everything is the same thing (but with a ) different name. I see ocean, I see desert, I see the world Everything is the same thing but with different name. It's life again”
Plus, we also saw the SEA at the end of the MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E concert; which is different when we saw the desert at the start.
Additionally, it's also in MOTS ON:E where Namjoon said that "BTS is not just a story of 7 people. It's a story of you, me, and everyone." as seen on the first image at the very top of this post.
In "Yet To Come" (2022), BTS sang “my moment is yet to come” so I just believe that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
1. Future version of BTS went back in time and fought in ‘Not Today’
2. They rebelled and made their lives better by singing “I’m so SICK of this FAKE LOVE” which helped them take off their dark, heavy cloaks by singing “You’ve shown me I have reasons I should love myself” which then led to the hands that kept grabbing them in the Fake Love MV to crumble down in PTD On Stage LA, and then be completely gone and replaced by a blooming flower during PTD On Stage Seoul & LV
3. They showed their love for themselves through their individuality in their solo albums = either 00:00 (Zero O'Clock) or Rebirth in Jimin’s MUSE album takes place = their best moment TOGETHER AS ONE GROUP IS YET TO COME since they’ve not made their reunion after individually searching for their true selves. But once they’ve reunited as a group, we’ll surely see the best versions of BTS.
Bottom line/ TL;DR: We ARMY are being time-travelled through the contents being released as a way to invite/ bring us ARMY into BTS' story, and the current timeline is as if we are back in late 2017/2018, and we'll move forward from there once all 7 reunites in June and when they eventually release a new album.

j-hope ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ Detailed Analysis and Interpretation of the VCR and Setlist by @doshielasol
Tumblr media
This analysis & interpretation was originally posted on my X account.
WARNING for those who have not watched the Seoul concert either in-person or via the livestream: This post contains spoilers and is based from the Seoul concert on Feb. 28 to March 2, 2025. Any changes that Hobi might do once the tour starts on March 13 in Brooklyn may or may not be applicable to what is already published here (as of March 6, 2025).
Summary: 🖤 black outfit = represents Real-Life Jung Hoseok / his Physical Self on Earth ❤️ red outfit = represents his Artist Self, j-hope
Tumblr media
The 4 VCRs of 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' is the story of Real-Life Jung Hoseok who RETRIEVED his Sleeping Artist Self that was trapped in a box, and BROUGHT BACK ‘HOPE’ which refers to BOTH his Artist Self with the stage name “j-HOPE”, AND the OPTIMISM that even after a long winter, there is HOPE.
Tumblr media
(link to BH's tweet)
❤️ VCR 1: The VCR is set in winter. In symbolism, winter time could mean hardship, or a time of dormancy, reflection, or even a time of transition.
Tumblr media
Real-Life Hoseok held a “Time Navigation System” [in reality it’s called a Field Strength Meter— used to assess the intensity of signals, ‼️typically used in telecommunications & broadcasting‼️]. Its pointer is going AWRY indicating it’s “not yet time” for the “signal” to happen. What that signal is pointing at will be seen and explained in VCR 3 later in this analysis.
Among all the boxes in the storage, Real-Life j-hope picked up Box Number 23 wherein inside the box is the Sleeping Artist Self j-hope. While Real-Life Hoseok was looking at his sleeping Artist Self through the openings on top of the box, his Artist Self suddenly opened his eyes.
Tumblr media
j-hope's Artist Self suddenly opening his eyes in VCR is the reason why the concert starts with the boxes on-stage LOOKING AND SOUNDING like it's a PUMPING HEART during "Music Box: Reflection". His inner, Artist Self is alive and WOKEN UP.
Box Number 23 has TWO interpretations:
1. j-hope's BOTH Korean AND international ages
2016: Hobi's Korean age 23= Hobi “STARTED THINKING about making a mixtape”
2017: Hobi's International age 23= He WORKED on HOPE WORLD at the start of WINGS Tour & tried to release it in the same year. (source)
Tumblr media
2. The year 2023 when he entered the military service — the year when he had to “put his Artistry in a box TO BE KEPT AWAY”. When he went to do this mandatory enlistment, he had to lock up his Artist Self of being an artist who’s supposed to be ON STAGE. Even the date of when he entered, April 18, 2023, is seen all throughout the VCRs.
This is why inside Box 23 are the objects that relates to j-hope being an Artist: such as the airplane model (Airplane), birthday cake (Outro: EGO), Campbell can (Chicken Noodle Soup), Snickers bar (MAMA/ Fake Love), lighter (Arson), key (More), red strings (NEURON), etc.
Tumblr media
In-concert after VCR 1, the songs on-stage were Music Box: Reflection, what if…, Pandora’s Box, Arson, Stop, and MORE.
These songs represent Artist Self j-hope who is still in the box. Remember how Artist Self j-hope in the VCR is wearing red? In the concert, j-hope was literally wearing red.
Tumblr media
❤️ VCR 2 Artist Self j-hope woke up with a jolt, and when he did, the things around him started shaking to the point that the “Don’t Panic” alarm blares off. Artist Self j-hope tried to move close to the door but it moved away and he kept walking in-place, like on a treadmill.
Tumblr media
At the same time, Real-Life Hoseok is walking in winter with many people walking towards him, IN PASSING, in the OPPOSITE direction. This could symbolize that he has encountered people that AREN'T ALIGNED with the Original Path he chose, yet Hoseok PERSISTED to GO HIS OWN PATH. (Just like what he sent in the comments on day 2's livestream as seen on the first photo above)
Tumblr media
Real-Life Hoseok safeguarded his Box 23 that's containing his Artistry. When he finally put it in the passenger seat, the Time Navigation System’s pointer is ALMOST at the MAX level, its light blinking GREEN, and seen on-screen was “Chungjang-dong Geumnam street” — his hometown.
Tumblr media
He headed towards his hometown, and it's why the first song after this VCR 2 is "on the street" which also has a green color of undertone in the album art.
Tumblr media
As Real-Life Hoseok drove off, in Artist Self j-hope’s room, his distance towards the door became non-existent, and the “Don’t Panic” alarm switched off.
Tumblr media
VCR 2 ended with the words “Safety Zone 1.6Mi. Route 77”. This means that Real-Life Hoseok is heading to his safety zone through the route called BTS, which has 7 MEMBERS, and their ‘BTS ARMY’, which has 7 LETTERS!
Tumblr media
VCR 2 is about Hoseok going back to his roots to reactivate/ rediscover his artistry, as was his intention in his ‘HOPE ON THE STREET Vol. 1’ album and documentary, in which the songs from that album are performed after this VCR.
In-concert after VCR 2, butterflies came out to form the letter H, and we all know that butterflies mean transformation! A change or REBIRTH is about to happen in the next VCR!
Tumblr media
As for the setlist, j-hope DANCED 'on the street' SOLO before singing it. It was followed by lock/ unlock, i don’t know, i wonder, and Just Dance. These songs are focusing on dance, which is j-hope’s ROOTS. He WOKE UP his sleeping artist self by going back to his roots — dance. Dance is also Hobi’s way of freely expressing himself, much like how Artist Self j-hope kept trying to find ways to be free from the box he's trapped in, as seen in VCR 3.
❤️ VCR 3
After the “Don’t Panic” alarm got switched off, Artist Self j-hope could now come close to the door. He tried opening the door but it still wouldn’t budge. Suddenly, a paper with the words “Every cloud has a silver lining” was on the floor.
Tumblr media
“Every cloud has a silver lining” is a common expression which means “even the WORST events or situations have some POSITIVE aspect.” We could think of it as even when BTS had to serve in the mandatory military service causing them to pause their group activities, they were able to release their solo albums with songs that reflected their own creative thoughts, vision, genre, and style.
This explains why Artist Self j-hope's FIRST CHOICE in escaping is by using the “MORE” key, then the “ARSON” lighter, before trying various other ways in trying to escape the boxed state he is in.
Tumblr media
It was only when Real-Life Hoseok stopped the car UPON ARRIVING at his “safety zone” was Artist-Self Hobi able to OPEN THE DOOR AND GET OUT. At the same time, the Time Navigation System stopped blinking & turned RED, indicating “arrived”, and the pointer was at the fullest.
Tumblr media
Meaning, THE TIME HAS FINALLY ARRIVED for ‼️ARTIST SELF‼️ j-hope to GET OUT and do what he does best— PERFORMING.
With the Time Navigation System’s light turning RED from GREEN is one of the reasons why his tour’s theme color is RED.
Tumblr media
In-concert, after VCR 3, are several songs related to him as a BTS Member. "Being BTS" means being a performer of high caliber— this is a praise sung not only by ARMY but also by many people in the industry. This is topped off with ARMY’s loudest cheers esp. the OT7 fanchants.
Let me further explain why the songs after VCR 3 are related to him being a BTS Member, first with “Sweet Dreams”: In Sweet Dream's poster are many clouds & in-concert, Hobi is also surrounded by clouds. This reminded me of "Memory Clouds" in BTS' 4th MUSTER where Hobi was the compounder.
Tumblr media
In the HotS SEOUL concert, Hobi said that Sweet Dreams is a love song; a serenade towards ARMY. Back in BTS' 4th Muster in 2018, and even in MONOCHROME exhibition, Memory Clouds has a great significance which you can read more in this link to my tweet.
Additionally, j-hope performed his unreleased song ‘Sweet Dreams’ at HotS SEOUL on Feb. 28–March 2 before its release on March 7.
For comparison, on Nov.27–29,2015 @ BTS' HYYH ON STAGE, BTS performed their then-unreleased tracks from HYYH Pt.2. HYYH Pt. 2 album was released on Nov. 30, 2015.
Then it was followed by the songs 1 Verse (released in 2015 in BTS' Soundcloud), Base Line, HANGSANG, Airplane, Airplane Pt.2, Mic Drop, Baepsae, Dis-ease, Outro: EGO, Daydream, Chicken Noodle Soup, and Hope World.
The poster of Hobi’s 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' Tour shows him on top of a Stage Lift. Among all the songs in the setlist, HANGSANG is THE ONLY SONG where he’s performing way up high on a STAGE LIFT— the same stage lift seen in the posters of ALL his tour's cities. Hobi performed there to deliver this powerful message: BTS is ALWAYS 7, HE is ALWAYS BTS, and BTS will ALWAYS be ON TOP.
Tumblr media
(If you didn't know that Hangsang is about him and BTS, read the English translation here. )
Two things to note in Dis-ease on HotS:
1. In all 3 dates of the HotS SEOUL, Hobi said this line and made ARMY say the word too: "When I say 병 (byeong=disease), you say 아니야 (aniya=nope)"
Tumblr media
2. The key is transposed to a higher, LIVELIER KEY than original key which matches/ supports his message in #1⬆️ — we're NO LONGER in that state of "dis-ease" [thus, “disease? Nope~”] since all 7 Members are about to be reunited in a couple of months!
In-concert, after slogan time and before VCR4, the BTS Logo, a purple heart, and the ARMY logo was shown on the stage. This means that even if HotS is Hobi’s solo concert, he is still unapologetically proud to be part of his group, BTS.
Tumblr media
Additionally, he’s always been introducing himself as “j-hope of BTS” and kept mentioning “ARMY” throughout the SEOUL concerts.
Tumblr media
❤️ VCR 4
Real-Life Hoseok walked towards his “safety zone”— the BACKSTAGE of a concert. His black coat was changed to a red one, indicating that his Artist Self, portrayed by the red color, is BROUGHT BACK & READY TO PERFORM. He MERGED with his Artist Self – “BACK TO ONE person”
Tumblr media
The VCR ended with Real Life Hoseok picking up the red box that was inside Box 23. Then, in-concert, REAL-Real-Life Hoseok on-stage is holding the same red box.
Tumblr media
In the ending ment of Seoul day 3, Hobi said that the Red Box represents the STAGE. It's the stage where he could show his craft and artistry through his dance, rap, music, & performances. The STAGE, red box, is finally out of Box 23 / " Year 2023" and that is why we're now witnessing him on-stage through this tour!
Tumblr media
In-concert after VCR 4, the Encore Songs are '= equal sign', 'Future', and 'NEURON'.
In the song “FUTURE”, we even saw him lying down on that box, promising us that whether it’s Back Then, Now, and even in the Future, HE WILL BE ON STAGE.
Tumblr media
Hobi might be the only one on-stage at this moment, but with him going through “Route 77” in VCR 2, he’ll surely be back ON STAGE with all 7 BTS members, and BTS ARMY will surely be there to cheer for them! (from SOPEchwita episode)
CONCLUSION:
So, what does “HOPE ON THE STAGE” actually mean? Here are my 2 interpretations:
1. 홉 (“Hope”) is BTS & ARMY’s monosyllabic way to call j-hope. So, it's him just literally being on stage, doing his tour after freeing his artistry from being "boxed in" in 2023. “Hope IS on the stage.” Plain and simple.
2. The STATE OF MIND / EMOTION “Hope” , meaning, the good things has come and WILL COME on the stage IN THE FUTURE.
At the time of posting this and for the duration of Hobi's tour, it’s him that's giving us ARMY that sentiment of HOPE as we see him perform on the stage.
In the FUTURE, even when j-hope’s tour has ended, there will still be “HOPE on the Stage” because of NEURON’s lyrics that was flashed on-screen as the last song, “I'll tell you again: WE’LL NEVER EVER GIVE UP, FOREVER. I'll say it again, WE’LL ALWAYS BE ALIVE TO MOVE US.”
Tumblr media
For me, those flashed lyrics of NEURON is Hobi’s version of BTS’ Louder Than Bombs where they sang, “Louder than bombs I sing. I promise to you & myself: No matter what kind of waves strike, WE WILL ENDLESSLY SING TOWARDS YOU”. Meaning, as long as there’s MUSIC, we will KEEP SEEING 7 BTS MEMBERS ON STAGE.
To end this analysis and interpretation, I’d like to point out that just like SOPE's Hwagae Market greeting, Yoongi’s and Hobi’s solo tours are just like DOORS.
‘D-DAY’ DOOR was a GOODBYE to my old self.
‘Hope On The Stage’ DOOR is a HELLO, WELCOME BACK my old, artist self.
Seeing both the "Our eternal artist", and the "Your forever audience" slogans from 2016 in a single show day at the HOPE ON THE STAGE in SEOUL day 2 this 2025 is a very pleasant surprise as it really fits in in this interpretation AND it's a powerful declaration that BTS and ARMY have both been upholding this promise; that we will stay together forever. 💜
And soon enough, once all 7 BTS Members have reunited in June, we’ll also see BTS’ Artist Selves passing through the DOORS to get out of the Box they were in to BE FREELY UP ON THE STAGE to perform for us ARMY. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

so i have a mildly popular “reblog and put in in the tags” post going around and its. very clear how many people don’t know how to interact with a tumblr post
so, first of all, tumblr’s culture has changed a lot in the past couple years. there’s a genuine community effort to not start any drama, and ironically a lot of the current hostility is an effort to keep things calm. there’s also a change in how people interact with posts, so if you haven’t been here in a while please skip down to the tags/replies/reblog with text section.
for newcomers: you should be reblogging posts about as liberally as you would like something on twitter. if you only like stuff, people will think you are rude/a bot. you’ve probably heard people talk about “cultivating your dash,” and thats because this platform is 100% centered around your dashboard. trending matters less, unfollowing and blocking in order to shape your dash into it’s best form is widely accepted, the majority of the content you’ll find and interact with will be because of your dash, and the only way to put things on your dash is to reblog them. tumblr users are deeply distrustful of algorithms and have largely turned off the “see posts your friends have liked” function (i recommend you also turn of the various algorithms in settings → general settings → dashboard preferences).
so, once you’ve reblogged a post, there’s three ways to add content to it. the tags, replies, and reblogging with text. all of them have different connotations
the tags: an inside voice. originally they were meant for organizing your blog (and they’re still used for this), but they’ve also morphed into a way to share thoughts that aren’t funny/insightful enough for non-followers to be interested in. when in doubt, put your comment in the tags
replies: basically talking to your friends in class. your followers have no way of finding your replies (they don’t pop up on the dash, nobody gets notified except for the original poster) so chances are, only the person who made the post is gonna see your comment. it’s for quick one-offs that you’re okay with other people overhearing, but really is only made for one person. they’re like a public dm
reblog with text: an outside voice. you’re getting up on a stage in town square and entertaining people. make sure it’s funny or insightful— bottom line, add something new to the conversation. you should use this the least
general rules of thumb:
when in doubt, reblog. people will judge you if your blog is only personal posts and you only interact with other content by liking it.
the only things people will judge you for reblogging are personal vent posts. leave a like to give a little virtual hug
if a post is asking about your personality/opinions (i.e: tell me what’s the last tv show you watched, that kind of thing) put it in the tags
also if you see a nice edit, gifset, or art, reblog and say something nice in the tags! it’s that nice sweet spot of common enough that no one will notice but uncommon enough to make the artist’s day

re-introducing myself
Tumblr media
With the news of Twitter possibly closing down, I thought I’d get back here and re-introduce myself before reposting some of my tweets there to here. Hi! I’m Shiela. I’ve known BTS since their debut. I’ve been making fanchant guides of BTS’s songs on YouTube since 2016. I will be transforming this old blog into all-things BTS and connect with ARMY.  🤗💜 ss links: 1, 2, 3

It’s Not Yet Too Late To Love Yourself  [2019 BTS World Tour Love Yourself in Singapore fan account]
All along ever since I met BTS in 2014, I thought I’m sure I’ll see  and meet them every single year. It all changed in 2018 when LOVE  YOURSELF tour commenced and it’s as if life is teaching me exactly what  it means to “love yourself.”
Tumblr media
2018  has been a struggling year for me. To be honest, up until now I am not  sure how I was able to survive it but yes, I did survive it. There had  been too many instances wherein I was on the verge of giving up both on  being a fan girl and to my duty irl as my 90% of my plans had either  been cancelled or rejected; and there’s no in between. That included my  plan since 2017 of going to Korea for BTS’s next concert after The WINGS  Tour. We’ve all been there, planning on seeing them in Korea as that’s  THE ultimate fangirling goal but, you know, life happens. Even if you  are an official ARMY, if the ticket is not for you, it will just show  you how the tickets are slowly getting sold out without letting you in  the server to buy them.
What actually happened to me is that my  application for a major document that I needed in the country I’m in got  rejected, and the only way to “pass” it is to get a license in my home  country which meant I needed to take an exam. I graduated in 2014 and the gap between that year and 2018 is too big to not enroll in a review center and so that’s what I did. For 4 months since June until the very  last day of September, I worked on weekdays and Saturdays, and review  for the whole day on Sunday. It was very exhausting and what made the  whole experience worse was that there was a point from August 17 wherein  I had to be hospitalized and I was in so much pain. I even thought I’d  had to be admitted and had surgery. I think I was lucky to be sensible  enough not to undertake the surgery even though the doctors had been  adamant about it.
Imagine, in 2017 I was planning to be in Korea  in BTS’ next concert tour which happened to be on August 25, 2018 but  instead I was in the 3rd hospital having my 3rd opinion on the matter.  But because of that issue, I have started to learn how to love myself by  eating vegetables, and ISTG I ate a whole lot of vegetables for that  whole month alone than in all my 25 years of living. I also ate lesser  salty food and went back to exercising.
Fast forward to the  results of the exam which were released in December, I was lucky to pass  it especially since the passing rate of all takers were just in 48%,  and my actual rating even surpassed my expectation. Loving myself by  focusing on my exam and taking care of my health paid off.
Now what?
Love Yourself Singapore’s ticketing actually happened 17 days after the Asian stops had been announced on October 10. I was still in the Philippines back then, taking my 5th opinion in my motherland’s   hospitals when it was dropped. It shocked me of course, but I was happy that I would’ve been back in Thailand when the ticketing happens.
TICKET SELLING
Compute rentals are hard to find in Thailand but I was lucky enough that   there’s one about 2km away from my house. I would’ve used my phone but I wasn’t confident since I haven’t tried booking from SportsHubTix yet. So what happened then was that the ticketing opened at 9am BKK time. I arrived at 8:45am but the computer rental’s keeper was still asleep and I  was the only one there so I wasn’t sure if I should wake him up or not.  But my will to try to buy a ticket was stronger than my shyness so I  woke him up and man are his eyes red! And the computers’ startup was  slow as heck which made me be able to sit down only at 8:55am.
Tumblr media
Come  9am, the ticketing limbo happened. I wasn’t even able to log in as the  queuing was already upfront when I opened SportsHubTix. The whole time I  was in the limbo, all I thought was, “I won’t be expecting anything like I did in Seoul stop. If it goes through, I’m happy, but if not then  it’s fine. I’ll just go for the BKK stop for sure.”   I only paid for  an hour worth of internet and so I wasn’t really sure if I’ll be able to  get it; the blinking dot as the only indicator of the page didn’t help  at all. But then at 9:40am BKK time, a ping was heard and it said it’s  my turn to buy the ticket. Man! I was hysterical in my mind! I was  shaking the entire time! I wanted to go for Yellow 2 but the only  available standing areas left were Blue, Red and Orange. I took a video  while I was choosing seats and all the time I was saying “I’ll go for  Red 2.” But my fingers clicked “Blue 2” and I was like… meh whatever! If  I cancel this, who knows if I’ll have to go back to the queue and so  that’s how I got Blue 2 ticket. I didn’t know my queue number until I  paid for it and maaaan! It was queue no. 119! Not bad at all! I was  actually really happy since LYSG will be happening on 190119 and then  I’ll have 119 as queue no. It must be fate!
We had 83 days to go  after ticket selling and it was crazy how LY BKK’s ticketing happening  in December most especially since its 2nd show was announced only 3 days  after 1st day’s ticketing. But that’s a story for another day.
Tumblr media
Everything  seems to be in place for this concert tour for me especially when this  airline I booked has an in-flight light show and the sequence of the  colors was the LOVE YOURSELF color scheme: orange-pink-purple-blue.
LIVE NATION SG AND ONE PROD ISSUE
On  the week of LYSG, there was an issue on how One Prod apparently gave   out free tickets to non-ARMYs. And then suddenly, tickets had been   released back into SportsHubTix and that included Purple and Yellow zone  tickets. I was so angry since I had been holding on to my Blue 2 ticket  since it’s been sold out on the 1st ticketing day, and now they’re  telling me that my desired zone, Purple and Yellow 2 are suddenly  available 2 days before the concert? HA! *eye roll* It worsened when  they announced the standing queue cut off time which is way early in my  opinion then.
CONCERT DAY
I arrived in  Singapore late in the evening of Friday after “escaping” and going half-day at work. Nobody knew I was going to SG except for my family and  Poppy who has been my host in my whole duration there.
Tumblr media
On   Saturday morning, I was the only one who travelled from Poppy’s place to  National Stadium via MRT since she and her younger sisters all have   seated tickets. Although it was my first trip by myself in SG, I didn’t get lost at all.
It  took around 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the Stadium from Poppy’s  place. Upon arrival, I was already overwhelmed by the humongous place  and amount of people in the area. I was also anxious because I had fan  packs to distribute and claim as well. For the entire morning, all I did  was look for the fan packs I ordered, and contact people to claim their  fan packs from me. All I have to say is that it’s better to just do  giveaways than people buying from you especially if they’re trash  talkers. I don’t want to call them that but I saw them tweet on concert  day but not reply on my DM. Only 12 out 20 buyers turned up – it’s that  bad. Hay.  Charge to experience na lang.
Then I wandered around.  It’s cute how people think I need help since I am by myself but, like,  the only help I needed was when I needed someone to take a photo of my  back while I hold my Kim Namjoon slogan up. LOL. Anyway, it was a nice  way to meet acquaintances especially with the 6 other people who sat at  my table at talked to me like we had been friends for a long time. Too  bad it didn’t get too deep to ask for each other’s Twitter or IG  accounts.
Tumblr media
Queue  cut off was at 2:30pm and I arrived there at 2pm. It was the same  queuing system as the one used in Thailand and so I already knew how  things will go such as when cut-off time has arrived, they will “close”  the queuing by using some kind of easily-removable barricade, and then  we will be asked to stand up and compress. That was it for Thailand but  in Singapore, after we were asked to compress, we had to stand up for  the whole duration until they let us in at 4pm for ultimate compression  since they were adding the >5000 ticket holders into the queue.
Although  I said the queuing system (with the cut-off time) is the same as  Thailand’s, let me tell you the differences I experienced.
In  IMPACT Arena in Thailand, all the numbers of each zone are crammed up in  one area. (I want to say this will be updated in LY BKK but I realized  we won’t have standing in LY BKK so I’m comparing to older, arena  concerts). But in Singapore, the standing areas are divided into <  5000 and  >5000. For us <5000, we are to queue up by the very gate  of our zone. Meaning we got to hear the soundcheck for free. And then  what happened to the >5000 queue ticket holders was that they were  placed inside Singapore Indoor Stadium. Pretty neat!
In Thailand,  it’s queuing up and then checking your bags right before you enter the  venue. In Singapore, it was bag inspections first before you queue up  and then you enter the venue.
In Thailand, you are given plastic,  credit card-like tickets but a hole is punched by the checker as you go  in the venue. In Singapore, you have cardboard tickets but it doesn’t  get punched or even cut off.
In Thailand, the checker by the gate   scans your ticket for verification. In Singapore, it’s you who will   scan your own ticket and if it’s verified, the turnstile gate will be   available and you can get in the venue already.
In Thailand, the fan project is distributed by the local fanbase staffs while we are in the queue. In Singapore, it was done by one of the members of the   logistics team, and it was handed down right before we scan our tickets.
Tumblr media
For us in BLUE 2, we entered from the backstage of the venue and had a long  walk going to our desired places. To be honest, up until that moment I  was confused whether to go for the one near the main stage or go to the  one near the extended stage but thinking that I already have 2 BKK  tickets that are closer to the extended stage, I opted for the main  stage and voila; I still managed to get barricade near the main stage! I  ranted about probably not being able to be barricade at a BTS concert  anymore in 2018 but 2019 slapped me in the face. I guess I was also  lucky that most of the other ticket holders before me went for the  extended stage.
From 4pm, the gates opened but concert started at  7pm. In those 3 hours of waiting, I made friends/ acquaintances with  the people around me. I activated my PR mode and humored them. I also gave out my 2nd freebie which is the “Jimin is 8500 Days in LYSG” hologram stickers. I think it made the mood around my area much better   since unlike the usual wherein people pushed me when concert started,   they were actually careful not to do so much damage? There were still pushing especially at the start, but not as bad as all the other   times I was in standing. Maybe it’s a Singaporean thing or maybe it was the giveaway doing its magic. *shrug*
As mentioned, we standing zones were let in at 4pm whilst the seated zones were let in at 5:30pm. When it was only us standing zones, we were quietly chanting along to   the MVs being played. I and the girls behind me even formed an impromptu  choir and sang along to all of the MVs being played. When seated ticket  holders were let in, hoooo boy did the loud cheering started.
As the sun sets by the Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Flyer, it signaled the start of the concert.
CONCERT PROPER
I thought my shock at the difference between Thailand and Singapore   concert will end at the self-scan of tickets but nope, I was wrong.  Maybe it was because it’s now a stadium tour but minutes before the concert started, there’s this guy who sells water bottles but he opens   the cap in front of you. I asked for the cap so I could go on standing   peacefully but he said it’s not allowed so I drank it all off so that I won’t get wet because of the opened bottle later (what an innocent goer I was). I think giving us the cap isn’t allow because he has to bring it  back to make sure he really sold it? But yeah the fact that there were  water bottles being sold inside a concert is a whole new experience for  me!!! And that’s not even the end!!! During the concert, there were  ushers who would go around, hold up a water bottle and a triangular  paper cup, ready to give it someone who needs it for free!! TMI but man,  the last time I went to a toilet that day was at 1:50pm and for them to  give it out freely, and me taking it every chance I got because I was  out of breath and voice because of leading the fan chants? Man I'm lucky my adrenaline kept it all in!
Tumblr media
Ah I almost forgot to mention this but even though I was by the barricade  near the side stage, I was still far away from the side stage simply  because there were water cannons/ jets installed right at the foot of  the stage. There could still be 4-5 rows of people in that place but I  guess it’s okay that they put the barricade farther since I still felt  the heat of the fire from my place and that would be dangerous if I was  nearer since I was wearing contact lens!
Finally, BTS  appeared on stage. Man, I really missed the feeling of seeing them and  hearing and watching their performances live! Since I was in BLUE 2, I  was so far away from them but I don’t know why or how it felt like they  were still near me? The magic of going in standing zones I guess?
Most  of the time, I watched them from the big LED screen. Sometimes I  watched them from the main stage but they looked to small so I go back  to the LED screen. There were not much songs wherein they go to the side  stage near us but one of them was Magic Shop. Hoooo boooy here we go! I  teared up both for Magic Shop and Euphoria which is funny because Magic  Shop is only the 4th song that they did? Add the fact that initially, I  didn’t like Magic Shop but there I was tearing up just on the 4th song  of the entire 3 hour show!!!!! After reading the Save Me webtoon  released that week and the theories behind it (yes, I caved in) it’s a  no-brainer why I teared up in Euphoria. I was like, damnnn  they’re  really playing with our feelings like this?? It’s such a dark song and  yet??? The song is so upbeat that they make it seem like??? It’s  really??? fun??? Like no, stop playing with my heart?????? Oh but wait,  before I teared up, I actually told off the people around me who were  chanting that annyeong haseyo thing that they were ruining the song!  Good thing they were sensible enough to listen and stop chanting. And  then that’s the time I actually teared up. LOL
The only other  times they went to our side of the stage were during I Need U, So What  and after Answer: Love Myself as they were saying goodbyes. Yup, only 4  songs.
The main highlight of the night was probably these cannons I  already mentioned beforehand. I am not one to watch fancams before  going to concerts as I prefer to be surprised, and bijj, how surprised I was!
On that week, I saw that the weather forecast is 90% chance  of rain on LYSG day. I really prayed that it won’t and bitch I even  packed a raincoat going to Singapore, but like what I said above, what an innocent goer I was.  I already saw a BTS Crew loading up water on the cannons before the   start of the concert but I paid him no mind. I really didn’t think it’ll  be fired at all that’s why in my RUN fancam, I was screaming, “I wasn’t  informed!!!! I’m so drenched!!!” The second time it happened was during  Anpanman and boy oh boy, it helped me tick off the “getting absolutely  drenched in a concert” goal. Really, it was the only upgrade I needed in  a BTS concert! I remember I also ranted about how I wasn’t anywhere  near Suga or Hobi during Cypher Pt. 4 in all 3 The WINGS Tour stops I  went to last year so I wasn’t “blessed by the holy water” in that  concert tour, but now in LOVE YOURSELF… bijj really told me, “Here’s  your mf holy water.” LOL.
This is my 7th BTS concert but there  were still a lot of freaking first times. Like the 90% watching the LED  Screen. I wasn’t expecting anything like this to happen but watching the  LED screen is much more clearer than really looking at them from the  main stage and the extended stage so… hahaha… there are some things my  eye caught because of being near the LED screen hahahahahahahaha I AM  STILL SCREAMING ABOUT IT!!!!!! Hashtag trivia: love *cough*
Amidst  the screams from myself and fellow ARMYs, I can still guarantee that  they sing 100% live. This is one of the biggest reasons why I love going  to BTS concerts. You can easily know if the artist sings live or not  and I’m proud to say that BTS has never lip synced in all the concerts  of theirs that I’ve attended (and all the other concerts and shows they did as well). I am especially mesmerized with The Truth  Untold and, of course, Epiphany. Please don’t bash me when I say this  but TTU is too slow-paced for me that’s why I tend to skip it or leave  it out of my playlist but then the live version of the song made me  appreciate it! It has always been like this for all the songs I appreciate  less ever since 2014; the live versions made me look/ listen to it in a  different light. Their harmony and Jimin’s improvisations added colors  to the song. Likewise for Epiphany! Man! The whole arena sang along in tune and I think that’s beautiful.
While I was watching the boys  through the screen, their happiness and shining auras were clearly  shown. I guess they also missed their SG ARMYs since it’s been 4 years  since they’ve been there. The boys’ ending ment confirmed this. Joon  mentioned how it was the happiest day and that the ARMYs in there are  “the sweetest, loveliest, strongest, and all the beautiful words”. Jimin  sang Promise!!! I’m so proud of him!!! Ah!! The translator translated   Yoongi’s words as “It’s been a good night.” but Yoongi corrected him and  said, “Not good night; GREAT night!” Then Jin said, “I will visit here  again.” Hobi said he loves the reactions from everyone! I love how Taehyung said that he’s happy that we’re part of his memories. Kookie said something about coming back.
Tumblr media
I’m still gonna go to the 2-day Bangkok stops so as much as I want to digest everything that happened, I will leave some more things unsaid especially about the other songs still not mentioned. But, yeah, I think my reflective sticker worked again since even if there were only 4 songs wherein they were “near” us, I still got some shots of them looking at my general direction hahaha.
POST-CONCERT
This LOVE  YOURSELF Singapore is probably the craziest stunt I ever did in my life.  From impulsively buying a ticket since I was able to enter the online   system, to booking a plane ticket a few hours after, to asking for a half-day leave without stating a reason a day before flying (on Friday), to spending the weekend in Singapore and then go back to work on Monday  as if nothing happened. It’s crazy but it was worth the all the back  pain, muscle ache and headaches I got from lack of proper rest! Singapore has clean air that I needed anyways since it’s been hazy in   Thailand for the past month. Like what Namjoon said in INTRO: O,RUL8,2?,  “Nothing lasts forever. You only live once so live your life, take chances, and never be late to do what you wanna do.” And in my opinion, by doing these, you are loving yourself.

bts, bang pd nim, intellectual people
Q: What sets BTS different from other idol groups?
Bang Shihyuk PD: This is quite a difficult question. To answer this, I want to talk about the time I first met BTS members. I— (laughs) I laughed a lot when I saw these photos during the rehearsal this morning too. I still remember vividly the moment I first heard RM’s songs. His depth of thoughts in handling the subject, his refined use of language, his creative way of pulling off the rap with Korean, all were superior for a 17-year-old. I remember telling Producer Pdogg, who showed me the song, that I needed to set up a meeting with this boy immediately. I’m taking caution since I might sound like I’m showing off my kid, but at that time I thought I could not miss out such a talented boy. I felt like it’s some sort of mission for me. J-hope was also well-known for his great dancing in town at that time and Jimin enrolled in an arts high school as one of the top students. All 7 members had different talents and abilities and with this as the foundation, BTS started with the determination to make something awesome. I hoped for BTS to take a step further from being shining, great cool stars. I wanted them to become artists who can communicate closely with fans like between humans and humans, give and take positive influence and carry not a vertical, but a horizontal leadership. Ever since the making of the first album, I only asked for one thing in BTS members. BTS’ music must be stories from the inside of BTS. We didn’t force practice time on them and we didn’t control their personal lives either. We gave them freedom and let the members participate voluntarily in everything. The reason why a lot of BTS’ early songs were about schol is also because at that time, many members were students. At that time, we received lots of criticism like “why coming up with a concept about students’ rebellion now”, “such an old concept”. But I believed the most important thing is them doing their own stories.

As part of 2017 BTS Festa, an annual week-long celebration of BTS’ anniversary, a special event called BTS Home Party was held at Olympic Park, Woori Financial Art Hall in South Korea for their fourth anniversary, and it was simultaneously aired on their V LIVE Channel for their international fans.
Nicky, the admin of BTS Brick Live Cafe’s official Twitter account, had an impromptu announcement of a BTS Home Party V LIVE streaming project in the cafe roughly two hours before the show started. In spite of the short notice, ARMYs in Bangkok took this chance to meet up to watch the show together.
It definitely looked like a planned gathering, but it wasn’t, and that’s why it’s successful. It had been a fun-filled two hours not only because of BTS’ humor and stages, but also because of the immediately-formed camaraderie among us ARMYs who went to the cafe.

5 Reasons Why You Should Attend A Hallyu Event In Thailand
Hallyu, the love of K-POP and/or K-drama is prevalent all over Thailand, and what better way to get close to your favorite artists than to attend their concert or fan meeting. It’s no secret that Thailand is the go-to place of these artists in Southeast Asia, and here are 5 reasons why you should attend at least one event in the country.
1. Price Range
Thailand has a large number of event promoters that the price range is standardized. You can even already imagine how much your desired place would be even if there aren’t any announcements yet. A K-POP concert usually has 6,000 baht as the most expensive, and 1,800 baht as the cheapest. There are some cases where the most expensive ticket tier is lesser than 6,000 baht, though. Still, as I’ve said, you already know what to expect / you can be a sure VIP ticket holder already if you have 6,000 baht.
2. Privileges
Promoters in Thailand are generous with the inclusive privileges of their event. Normally, though, the privileges are raffled off to all the ticket tiers, and there are quotas for each category. Other promoters give everyone in the most expensive tier a sure privilege, too, which is the hi-touch.
There was one fan meeting of a then-rookie group wherein I was able to avail all privileges: press conference, fan sign, hi-touch, and a group photo with the artists because those were the given privileges for the most expensive ticket tier which was just 3,800 baht. The only downside then was that the tickets for that tier were sold out fast.
3. Ticket
Tumblr media
The ticket itself is a souvenir already. I mean, just look at it! The ticket’s size is like that of any regular-sized card, and you can put it in your wallet to carry around all the time. Above are some of my tickets from different KPOP groups’ latest concerts as of writing this.
4. Venue
Concerts are usually held at IMPACT Arena, or Thunder Dome (both are walking distance from each other), and fan meetings are usually held at Muang Thai GMM Live House. These venues are very easy to go to, and usually have the big space which gives fans enough way to go through and distribute their freebies, and/or just hang out. The queuing system for standing tickets is great too since the management enforces it well. I’ll talk more about venues in another post.
5. Gorgeous And Successful Fan Projects
Last but definitely not the least reason is, of course, the fan projects. May it be in simple holding of banners, forming words on the seated area, party-colored lights, surprise birthday celebrations, and to creating tear-jerking VCRs that move the artists with tears, Thai fans really cooperate to make their projects successful.
Have you attended a concert or fan meeting in Thailand? Do you agree with this list? Which one is your favorite?

Just like the three previous BTS concerts I’ve attended, THE WINGS TOUR still brought in more first-time experiences for me. It’s the first concert tour wherein I attended more than one stop and city, and that I have a concert buddy whom I had fun with. It’s also my first time to have extremely exhausting experiences in trying to purchase a ticket that I reached the point of giving up the third stop (thank god I didn’t). Above all, I finally heard all of them do their spiels in my mother tongue which made me immensely emotional on my first time being seated in a BTS concert.
I purposefully chose the middle photo wherein Namjoon stood up first after the bow not only because he was wearing a toy crown there and he’s my king, but also because I wouldn’t even be an ARMY if it wasn’t for him. My respect for this guy is above and beyond, I just want to support him and the boys as much as I can.
The experiences I gained from these three concert stops had shaped some aspects of my way of thinking, and I’m sure it will be embedded in my soul. This may be cliche but just like Spring Day’s message, we just have to hold on and surpass every struggle so that we can attain what we want in the end. Anything’s possible if you believe and act on it.

Directions On How To Go To Suga’s Family Restaurant Using Daegu’s Subway
It’s cute how both @.sugaupdates on Twitter and I coincidentally went to Suga’s family restaurant in Daegu recently with just a two-day difference. They rode a bus getting there, whereas I rode the subway and so I want to share this for fellow ARMYs to have another option of getting around.
Please take note that this is all the way to Daegu. It is far from Seoul and you will use a different train to reach Daegu from Seoul. Read more about it here.
Tumblr media
   1. From KTX Dongdaegu Station, follow the directions that show which exit is for the Express Bus & Daegu Metro Line 1. (I think this is Exit 3, but I forgot.) The Express Bus & Daegu Metro Line 1 are on another building so you have to exit this building. Exit the door nearest Smoothie King.
Tumblr media
   2. Turn left and you will see a building with 동대구역 복합환승센터. Enter that and go to floor B1 for Metro Line 1.
Tumblr media
   3. Upon arriving at Metro Line 1, turn left again and alight the train bound for Seolhwa Myeonggok station. You may use your T-Money here. (click here for a bigger resolution)
Tumblr media
    4. Get off at Banwoldang Station and transfer to Line 2. Then, get off at Keimyung University station, Exit 6.
Tumblr media
    5. On Exit 6, turn right and walk for about 5 to 10 minutes. You will pass by stores like GS25, CU, it’s skin, and a 7-Eleven.
Tumblr media
    6. You will see a green arc near that 7-Eleven; it’s called the Rodeo Street. Walk along that street and the restaurant is on your right side.
Tumblr media
   7. Enjoy the delicious meals served by the Mins! The 토종순대 is definitely a must-try!!!!!!!! I recommend it 100%!!!!!!!!
If you’re planning on going to Korea, include this in your itinerary. Believe me, you will not regret anything! The food is amazing, the ambiance is great and they’re all so nice and accommodating!

Getting To Daegu & Busan And Back To Seoul In Just One Day Via KTX
I recently went on a holiday in Korea, and the main highlight of that week-long heaven is when my friend & I went to Daegu and Busan in just one day, and then Ilsan on the following day. Ilsan is fairly easy to go to from Seoul since you’ll still use the Seoul Metro Line, but it’s another story for Daegu and Busan as you need a ticket for KTX.
Tumblr media
KTX is a high-speed rail system that is operated by Korail. If you’ve watched the movie Train to Busan, this is exactly what you’ll ride.
There are two types of Korail Pass:
1. Consecutive Day Pass: 1-day, 3-day, 5-day, and 7-day
2. Flexible Day Pass: 2-day, and 4-day
We purchased a 1-day pass so we can go back to our guesthouse in Seoul on the same day.
Tumblr media
There are also two options on how to buy your ticket:
The first one is via their official website here. You need to provide your personal information, and expected date of arrival in Korea. Unfortunately, this option is only for those who have a credit card which I do not own. It’s been said that you can use a debit card, but I wouldn’t risk it especially since there are cases where debit cards couldn’t push through with the transaction. It doesn’t help that they also do not accept cash so if you’re like me, don’t worry, there’s another option which is…
Look for an authorized agent that could do the reservation for you. What I did was 5 days prior to our flight to Korea, I contacted this certain local agent in Thailand, gave them the requirements, paid, and voila! In less than 24 hours, I received my e-voucher! Please take note that this isn’t the ticket yet!
Once you’ve received your e-voucher, you have to print it out as the teller needs to keep a copy!
At Incheon Airport, you’ll immediately be able to see a Travel Center upon exiting the customs. You can exchange your e-voucher for your Korail Pass (the left one at the photo above). This is what you need to show the tellers for them to issue you a ticket. But if you’ve already decided on a time of leaving Seoul to Busan (or any station for that matter), you can also get your ticket there as well.
Important notes & tips:
1. The KTX trains are super punctual and so you have to be seated at your designated seats as early as possible.
2. Even if there are vacant seat and you want to change, please remember to only sit on your designated seat as travelers from other stations have probably booked that seat you’re eyeing.
3. One-day pass means your ticket is valid from 05:00 of the day to 23:59 of the same day. It’s not measured by 24hours. Meaning, if you leave Seoul at 13:00, you should request for your ticket back to Seoul before 23:59 for your ticket to be valid.
4. If you’ll book your tickets right at the airport like I did, compute the travel time from your hotel’s nearest subway station going to Seoul Station here, and then decide from there which earliest time you will be able to take to make the most out of your one-day pass.
5. There are trains every 10 to 15 minutes so it’s very convenient.
[DISCLAIMER]  While this post implies that it is possible to go to these three major cities of Korea in a day, it is highly impractical if you want to see and experience more with the one-day ticket.
I hope this will help you in your travel to Korea! In the next post, I’ll be sharing how to go to BTS Suga’s family restaurant in Daegu.

DAY6 Live Concert Dream in Bangkok Fancam Master Post
All the right things happened for this concert! First, my own ticket won a signed poster, and the ticket that I bought for my friend won group photo. Second, during press conference (and concert), Young K stood right in front of me. And of course; the concert itself was a blast!!! Like last year in #1stDAY6inBKK2015, everyone in our zone jumped up and down from the first song until the end, proving once again that we DAY6 fans can indeed play. On the other hand, the hi touch experience was a bit too rushed for my liking. Nevertheless, I still felt that they all listened intently to what I have to say.
