What Is Up With Pedri's Horns? (Mini Theory)
We've only seen three Vengess so far in the series, but this panel is enough to bring up some big questions: Why do Pedri's horns go down?
Here we see Wrathia's horns go down (we also see it in Ava), while her ex-husband's go upwards. Initially, because my theory friend and I have been discussing Nevy's involvement with the two of them, my head immediately wanted to ask if it was something Nevy might've caused. However, Ava's horns go down as well, which, unless Wrathia somehow pushed her physical trama onto Ava's new form, makes me lean towards it being something that people are just born with.
Which oviously immediately made me think, is Pedri trans?
But I think it could be more symbolic than that; Remember how I discussed Wrathia's power grab back in her and Nevy's story dissection. She was born low, significantly less powerful/important than she is now. Maybe her betrayal to Nevy was that she left her to marry a high-born, hence why the unnamed husband's horns go upwards?
Additionally, as my friend pointed out, Pedri appears to have been a shepherd at one point in his life before marrying Wrathia. He wasn't born in power either; He was a working-class until he, for one reason or another, caught Wrathia's attention and became her husband.
So yea, I think the horns represent the hierarchy within Vengess society.
Or he's trans. 🏳️⚧️🎉

New Symbolism Notes (Panel #0168)
With Ava's Demon being back, I think now more than ever it'd be fun to re-analyse the earlier segments with our new knowledge. This theory is basiclaly just bullet points to get my ass back in the game.
Panel #0168 has been topic for discussion since the DAWN of Ava's demon, but with the context of the last few years of updates, it'd be interesting to take a look back and re-examine this frame's contents.
It establishes symbolism; This post for the most part, will be me recording these connections for public use since they will likel be helpful in the future.
Maggie — Green/Triangle: Association with butterflies. (Confirmed in her cast image; Not much to say here but it may come into play down the line.)
Gil — Diamonds/Blue, he's represented by the fish to the right (as also seen in cast image), but what on earth does it mean that they're in crystals??
Erios — Lime green / Stars, the creature here is bizarre... will they also become a monster of failure? Most of the others are clearly identifiable beings but this one isn't... makes me worried Gil isn't the only one we need to worry about.
Veevra — Crescent, red (connection to scavengers) is represented here by an insect looking creature? A wasp perhaps? (RE: Hivemind theory.)
AngelicPurr — Pink/Hearts, we're seeing them connected to a snake here? I'm curious how that may come into play later, especially with its fangs being bared here...
Also a bonus connection that isn't established here but is consistent throughout the comic is that Pedri is HEAVILY associated with dragonflies, and his presence is almost always proceeded by them. We've discussed this already heavily on this blog so I won't dig into it much more until we have new info on this.

Miraculous LB/CN Movie: Multiverse Notes
Based on the movie having differences in not only plot, but worldbuilding laws set up in the show, I’d like to propose the perspective that the movie is in a different universe than ours (the show). This is less of a theory and more just me wanting to point out some interesting things I saw when watching with this pov. I hope you all enjoy!
Canon Events
Using the logic from Spiderman: Across The Spiderverse, we can gather that multiversal laws have canon events for every version of a like character. Ladybug And Cat Noir presented a few of those when compared to Miraculous Ladybug. Let’s talk about them.
Alya:
She is meant to be the first person to document the new Holders’ first battle. It’s a shaping moment for her (and sometimes Marinette too, though it isn’t a canon event for LB).
Marinette:
Obviously it’s becoming the miraculous holder, but quickly after, she has a more notable canon event: rejecting the miraculous. I saw this as a canon event because its sameness made me realise how significant to her this decision, and then the decision to rejoin the fight, is for her growth. Realising she is capable is huge for her.
Adrien:
Losing his mom. This may seem obvious, and it is, but I want to discuss how it affects him differently in this universe in the next section. (Other than the upcoming notes though, this obviously is what shapes his relationship with his father, and it’s also a CE for Gabriel as well, launching him into his next arc.)
Differences (and significance)
Aside: Okay so first let’s address the butterfly in the room: changes in the moth miraculous. I’ve been seeing a lot of people on twitter discuss how it was presented as evil/chaotic by a default in this movie, and when I watched sadly I agree. This falls under the “changes to the world laws” umbrella I mentioned earlier, and it didn’t worsen the story, but I also feel like it could’ve been better used as an opportunity to show how the power isn’t bad and it’s the holder’s responsibility to use it for good. I feel that would have been a better lesson. Anyway, back to theory.
The biggest difference I noticed was in a specific scene with Adrien and Gabriel, where Adrien talks back and even shouts at his father, and it really caught me by surprise. But then I realised why.
Adrien in this universe isn’t a sentimonster.
It’s not a canon event, it’s one of the things which makes him different than ours. Here, he’s able to go through the teenage angst that comes with his age and with losing a mom (and having that as your dad).
Lastly, I’d like to point out other differences in the world, broken into two categories for ease of reader 😌
Character Differences:
Nino never had a crush on marinette (that we know of), and it seems like he did on Alya :)
Marinette isn’t blubbering-nervous, she’s quiet/shy-nervous around Adrien (an improvement, I think we all agree)
Kwami’s personalities ! (explored more in World Law Differences)
Gabriel both A) did more damage as a villain while B) caring more as a father, both of which were equally jarring
if you’re confused about A, the mime literally pulled out a(n invisible) gun multiple times o.o
World Law Differences: (mentioned earlier)
Holders’ Powers: To my knowledge, the Holders don’t have a time limit after using their powers
Furthering that point, and this may be debated, but I don’t think their powers work the way we’re used to.
We never see any holder use their trigger word, and it doesn’t seem to be a one-time or limited thing, it’s contraints are just the Holder’s willpower and physical endurance for what they’re doing
Other miraculous might not exist, it might just be the main 7 (fox, bee, moth, turtle, peafowl, and ladybug/chat noir)
This is implied by the intro sequence, and also I thought I noticed the miracle box being shorted in my watch through, though that might be just me
Kwamis are able to be physically present while Holders are transformed (doesn’t affect much but I found it interesting)
They also acted wiser, Tikki and Nooroo having moments of sober seriousness that was wildly different than what we’re used to.
except for uh...
Plagg.
no comment.
Guardians of The Miraculous might have powers of their own which we just didn’t have time to explore. (This could’ve also just been the creators wanting him to be mysterious with no intended lore implications)
Implied chaos around the Moth Miraculous (this is mostly just in the intro though, the rest of the movie it’s Gabriel who’s responsible for the bad stuff rather than it being inherent)
There is still something to say here about power corrupting, we don’t know how much of it was him or the miraculous, and that does bug me :/
Power ups likely don’t exist in this world too, given what I mentioned about the power-constraints being different; The holders likely are able to handle extreme circumstances naturally when transformed, and if they can’t (like the lava scene) that’s because it is too much for them.
Contacting holders was significantly easier here since they were able to receive (vague) notice while detransformed; I liked that :)
That’s all!
Let me know if there’s anything I missed that I should discuss! As always, the ask box is open and I love reading comments and discussing things with y’all :))
Thank you for reading!

MLB S5: Kagami Sentimonster Theory
[Context needed: S5:E18 Emotion, S5:E19 Pretension]
Hello! I’ve been away from this blog for ages but I’ve been super active in other fandoms and I really want to start uploading theories fast enough for them to not be common knowledge by the time they’re up SO in that spirit, here’s a super rushed Miraculous theory being posted right after today’s release of Pretension and Revelation on Gloob. (Will clarify though, as of writing this I have only seen up to Pretension.)
Thesis: Kagami is a sentimonster (as well as Adrien duh, and potentially also Felix) and her object is the tsurugi family ring.
Evidence #1: Felix’s reaction to her ring.
When they first meet in Emotion, Felix has been a holder of the peacock miraculous for some time, and he is also currently wearing it as he approaches her. We know from Hawkmoth that holders with this sort of power can sense strong emotions and can also still have / control their amuks/akumas while detransformed, so it’s reasonable to believe they can also recognise when someone else has used the miraculous in the same purpose. (Like if someone made a sentimonster, the peacock holder would be able to recognise that it was their same power in effect.)
Felix goes to kiss Kagami’s hand when they first meet, and he reacts with shock and a hint of disbelief when he sees her hand. (time: 7:26, 7:27)
Furthermore, when he looks back up at Kagami, he’s mistified (and potentially sympathetic?). If we take the Adrien Sentimonster theory as fact, Felix knows about his plight, and this expression would match up if he were discovering there were more “diamonds” like Adrien, a phrase used in that episode which I found quite interesting based on these two theories. If I continue to build on these ideas, I’ll likely be calling them the diamond theories based on the Diamond Ball and all that happened in that episode. (time: 7:29)
Evidence #2: “We aren’t puppets” scene
Once alone at the Diamond Ball, Kagami and “Adrien” (Felix in disguise), have a discussion about their parental control.
“We don’t need to play puppets for our parents.”
“But they’re still the ones pulling the strings, aren’t they.”
Here, Felix is once again implying that he knows about sentimonsters amongst the Diamonds, and furthermore he’s hinting at Kagami maybe being one of them. After he makes this comment though, Kagami looks down at her family ring. She knows it’s tied to this control she feels, even if she doesn’t know its direct connection yet.
She replies telling him that “In my family, you obey orders because you choose to.” This ties in to Evidence #4: “You are your own master”, with the idea in her family that the control is it’s own form of free will, though it’s really just their trust in her engrained obedience.
Their next interaction is going to also be grouped under this evidence point because it’s in the same scene, and I view it as Felix’s test for her.
“Let’s leave, I dare you.”
“Are you insane? We can’t do that.”
“Of course we can; I can.”
[gasp] “You’d do that?”
“Wanna bet?”
In his “of course we can” line, I got the feeling that he meant it as “Of course we can, why couldn’t we? Are you going to acknowledge the limit that we’re both bound by, yet cannot seem to address? I dare you to, I doubt you can.” It’s a test of both her knowledge of her walls and also her admittance to it. Her response would show how aware she was of her situation; it’d prove his theory of her unknowing-victim state.
(her face falls,) “No, we can’t.”
“See? You’re not as free as you claim.”
Just like that, he’s found someone like him. This is why he saves her when he entraps everyone else who’d attended the ball. His ‘perfect world’ is meant to be freedom for all those who are under unfair control.
Evidence #3: Tsurugi-San’s Phrasing
In Pretension, Ms. Tsurugi says the phrase “We are connected, as are our children. They were made for each other.” (1:57)
They were made for each other? Interesting.
This is not the first time Adrien has been implied to have been made, designed, programmed, etc. to be a specific way, but adding Kagami to the equation by the idea that she is the same as Adrien (both being “made”) leads me to connect all of the Adrien Sentimonster evidence to her as well.
Evidence #4: “You are your own master.”
This one needs a bit more explaining, but in Pretension, Tsurugi-San strikes Kagami’s ring and tells her, “If you are not your own master, then you’re already your own slave.” (Here is the full interaction for context)
“What do you see here, Kagami?”
“Our family crest.”
“And that crest dictates your behaviour. A duty. If you’re not your own master, then you are already your own slave.”
My theory here is that this is alluding to how Tsurugi believes that Kagami earned having the ring herself since she obeyed so well anyway before, but now her emotional responses have her “self control” in question, and Tsurugi is considering taking the ring back (something we will come back to later).
The line about her being her own master, I feel, was a direct reference to her literally being in possession of the object which controls her. Which brings us to the next point.
Evidence #5: Revoking the Ring / Fake Ring
It’s taking forever to write this all out and this one doesn’t need too much context, so this will be a bit less explained.
Skipping forward in Pretension, Tsurugi-San decides that Kagami is no longer in control of her emotions and can’t be trusted to obey properly. (This is after Gabriel also alludes to this idea that her daughter is ‘out of control’.) She says this line:
“If I have to force you into obedience [...], then I will.”
And then has Kagami hand her back the family crest, aka the object which controls her, essentially having Kagami hand over her free will (unknowingly).
HOWEVER, plot twist, Felix meets up with Kagami towards the end of the episode and hands her the real ring.
“The ring you gave your mother was a fake. This is the real one.”
Why would Felix have taken the ring unless A) he knew it was EXTREMELY important/significant, and B) he saw that Kagami was in serious danger of her mother taking it back, and knowing the power it contained (and seeing as his mission is for all of them to be free,) he swapped it with a fake as a precaution and ended up surely saving Kagami’s literal free will.
Bonus small sentimonster things:
In the ball scene (Emotion), when he snaps away Gabriel, he says “Adrien, My mother, Me, [...] I’m freeing us from you! [snap]” which is a lovely parallel to how sentimonsters are “Freed from existence [snap].”
In Pretension when he has that small insight on his view of sentimonsters, he says “Don’t call them that (”sentimonster’)”, and though he never corrects her on what to call them, I believe the subtext here is that they’re victims in his eyes (like him, his cousin, and supposedly Kagami). He sees any sentimonster as a victim of irresponsible use of his miraculous by someone who carelessly brought something into the world "only to manipulate them, control them, abuse them, and end up destroying them. [...] You have a responsibility for them.”

Update: Upcoming theories!
Heyo! So for the hiatus I’d been brainstorming a bunch of recap-theories that would be flushing out older one-offs that I’d mentioned in previous posts, but now we have a new update so I might not be able to get to all of them
Currently I’m looking at doing:
A Nevy masterpost recapping her flashbacks and history with Pedri and Wrathia (this would overlap a ton with any Wrathia or Pedri masterpost in the future since most of what we know about both of their pasts is from this)
A Gil masterpost mostly talking about his relationship with TiTAN and his future dynamics with Odin, Maggie, and subsequently Ava and Erios.
A full length post filling in the gaps on Pedri (going over what happened between Wrathia taking the potion and him taking the potion 😳)
A colour analysis post discussing some neat things I noticed, would be pretty short probably but it’d be fun :)
I’d really love to hear people’s ideas on what you’d like! I would lowkey love to do a masterpost on every character that reviews all of the theoretical stuff I/we know about them, but there’d be a lot of overlap there so for now I’m focusing on key players, aka the Wrathia/Nevy/Pedri history and Gil’s past/future.

Maggie (and Ava)’s Past, Present, and Future!
Hello everyone and welcome back! Today I wanted to make a proper explanation for EVERYTHING I have involving Maggie as a theory. An alternative title is “The Maggie Masterpost” but I want to focus on her relationship with Ava since that has the most unanswered questions. So, let’s get into it!
Maggie and Ava: The Early Years
It’s shown many times that Ava and Maggie used to be really close, specifically through their drawers (panel 2248) and through the photo on the inside of Maggie’s cupboard (panel #0865). It’s also apparent that this was before Maggie became a host, as we can see from her eyes in panel #8065. I believe that Maggie and Ava used to be very close, and one of two things happened: A) Ava starts falling for Maggie and decided to confess, or B) Maggie realises that she’s begun falling for Ava and retreats into herself.
There isn’t necessarily any outright evidence for Maggie or Ava being bi/pan, but for Maggie’s story, it’d make sense if she had struggled with feelings towards/from Ava and reacted by becoming mean, pushing people away to avoid confronting it. Internalised homophobia fits Maggie pretty well.
It would also play well into the fact that Ava blames herself for how Maggie’s become mean, since Ava knew her when she’d been nicer. In panels #1087 - #1088, Ava directly blames herself for Maggie’s unpleasantness.
“I mean it’s... it’s my fault she acts the way she does. / She wasn’t always this reckless and mean.”
Knowing this, it takes us easily into our next section.
Maggie’s Death
[TW: Lots of suicide / noose mention in this section, skip to the next heading to avoid it.]
In the Death And Demon Theory (coming later this week, mentioned/recapped in this, this, and implied in this post), I firmly believe that every Host died at some point, and their soul’s joining with a demon brought them back to life. Gil was boiled alive before being found by TiTAN’s people (and seeing Nevy for the first time soon after), Odin died in a hunting accident with his father and has since been haunted by Pedri, and Ava was stillborn and got Wrathia earlier than the others because she drank the potion first.
But Maggie has always been a confusing spot, since we never had any clear indicators of her death, until...
This comment on Some Unanswered Questions (which this post can be seen as a sequel/follow up to) has provided the answer. In every panel in Maggie’s mindscape, she’s in a very simple costume, with a strange green necklace that never quite made sense, even though it wasn’t necessarily out of place.
I agree with those theories Void mentioned; Though I technically don’t have the evidence to “prove” it, the necklace being a noose provides the missing evidence for so many of my theories that it can’t be a coincidence. Maggie killed herself (via noose) after her falling out with Ava, and this is where she became joined with Tuls.
In my last post about this (Some Unanswered Questions), I listed some mini theories at the bottom, one of which says Maggie probably made her pact quickly due to how casually she mentions failing it, as if she didn’t properly listen to the terms and conditions. Since Tuls’ magic is about gaining other people’s affection, I think this still plays into the internalised homophobia theory because she’s pushing herself onto every guy she meets in attempts so shut off this other part of herself.
Maggie and Erios: Predictions + Tying Things In
It has been established that Maggie will end up with Erios (the star host) many times through various means, and I’ll have another post soon analysing her relationship with Gil and Erios. For now though, my analysis of Panel #0358 recaps fairly well how/why we first predicted that Maggie would end up with Erios.
Now that we know Erios is nobinary (and super over-the-top), we can also start to see how Maggie’s fairytale plays in.
For those of you who don’t know, every character in Ava’s Demon has a fairytale they parallel in some aspect of their major character arc, and Maggie’s is Beauty And The Beast. We’ve long predicted that this means she just wouldn’t be super attracted for Erios at first and she’d learn how love can be something that grows over time rather than being an impulse decision like with Gil, but combining Erios’ gender identity with Maggie’s (theorised) internal homophobia, I think this relationship is where Maggie not only learns to love for the person over their gender, but also learns to finally accept that side of herself and let her love finally be genuine and real.
Bonus Notes
Erios’ fairytale has been confirmed to be Peter Pan in a recent stream from Michelle on their twitch. Based on their current personality (especially the way we meet them), they will likely be learning to be more mature and less obnoxious (no offense 😅) and that’ll help their relationship with Maggie bud more. Because I can almost 100% guarantee that Maggie will NOT get along with Erios whenever they meet if they’re both the same person they currently are.

quick update on the blog / AD stuff
if ava’s demon updates again you bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be posting here again, I just need drive to XD
I have a few things in my drafts that are half-theories mentioning “common knowledge” theories that might be helpful to finally list fully in one or two posts explaining like, the stages of being a host, the things we do/don’t know about heart/crescent host, recapping each character’s fairytale and why it’s important / what it has already revealed, things like that Plus Erios’ fairytale was revealed to be Peter Pan (x) and I’d love to dig into that if we could just get a littttle more information about them / their demon
So like, if people want more content... I definitely have things I could bring up. (Like listing how every host has died and how we know this cus that’s a theory of mine that doesn’t necessarily “explain” things but it just straightens them up a bit and ties in completely with the lore so it might be nice to post that somewhere other than random group chats)
so yea 😳 also the askbox is still always open if there’s specific things people would like me to discuss 👍

Prismonarch Nimis: Where Do They Fit In?
The infamous video of Excessa has finally been posted which means we can finally discuss the star host in more detail and start making specific inferences on their effects on the story.
WARNING: This post contains detailed spoilers for AD’s update posted June 24th, you have been warned.
Prismonarch Nimis and Sound Master Byte
They’re the same person.
Both Nimis and Byte have been theorised to be the star host, so seeing them “together” is strange, but all the evidence just points to a ‘double life’ situation. After some discussion with other theorists, Nimis is most likely a last name meaning “excessive”, which means if they (byte and nimis) are separate people, the Prismonarch is definitely the host of gluttony. Erios is still likely the first name of the star host, and Byte is clearly just a stage name.
The Prismonarch on their own has also been shown to have star shaped eyes, though their design makes it difficult to tell where in the possession stage they are. In the image below, we can see Prismonarch Nimis’s eyes clear as day. Typically in hosts, the pupils are the part with the shape/colour, and coloured pupils mean possession.
More evidence for them being the same person is the original silhouette of the Star host being this (below), which matches perfectly to Nimis’s hair, yet now that we’ve seen Byte, they are the one replacing the silhouette. The star being the outline of the picture also means that whoever is revealed in this place is the star host.
The stage after possession of a host is waiting for them to make a pact with their demon, which there is no way of knowing if Nimis has. Green skin is strange, but Gil naturally has blue skin and we have no reference point of what Nimis might’ve used to look like. Therefore we can’t make any predictions on if they’ve made a pact or not with Gluttony. (Speaking of which, I can’t wait to meet more demons.)
Maggie And Erios
It’s been an expectation for a while that Maggie will not get along with Erios at first but will eventually grow to like them. An interesting twist in that tale can be made now though, under the assumption that Erios is living a double life.
Due to the “prism-” prefix being so common and the amount of triangle/pyramid designs in Excessa, it’s safe to assume that when Maggie arrives she will be (to some extent) idolised. Potentially even by the Prismonarch themself, Erios Nimis. If that is the case, Maggie will likely enjoy the attention and become fond of Nimis. On the other side of things, though, she will probably have a distaste for how loud and wild Byte is, which will be an interesting scene whenever it’s revealed that these two people are the same person.
Bonus Thing (about my last post)
In my last post I mention how Byte has titan-like bandages on their neck and torso which obscures all of their skin. Along with the helmet, Byte is able to maintain complete anonymity through all of the coverage. I wanted to make a follow up point to this regard because I had initially thought they were a high ranking TiTAN follower, but I think Byte wraps the bandages themself to maintain this anonymous disguise, since their naturally green skin is very recognisable. The TiTAN thing might just be a coincidence, but it also could be that Byte is pretending to be a high ranking follower just for the perks that come with it.
(After all, their performance at the party is being sponsored by TiTAN; it’s never a bad idea to stay on his good side.)

New Evidence!! (Maggie and Star Host Connection)
MC finally released an update on the progress of the comic’s next update and the reason for delay, and with it, we have two new shots to analyze! It also provides a good opportunity for me to review one of the “common knowledge” theories of the fandom for those of you who are new. (I might make a separate post later with a summarization, to the best of my abilities, of all the theories we currently accept as canon as a fandom.) So, let’s get into it.
RECAP: MAGGIE’S FAIRYTALE
For those of you who don’t know, every main character (specifically, each host) has a fairytale that MC has confirmed will parallel their story. I’ll go into the others in another post, but for now we’re focusing on Maggie’s: The Beauty and The Beast. Maggie’s story will take her away from Gil and towards a new character, who will help her through her fear of a real relationship (which has manifested in her shallow tastes in people) and eventually show her what it means to love. It is my personal belief, as a veteran AD theorist, that Ava is the reason Maggie is all guarded and shallow, as they were probably each other’s first loves (or just first really close relationship, even if it was platonic) and things ended badly, resulting in Maggie becoming closed off.
Above we have panel #0358, which is the premise for a lot of theories in this fandom. In this post, I wanted to bring it back to remind everyone the evidence for many theories that are just “common knowledge” these days, i.e. Maggie ending up with Star Host specifically. The panel above is when Gil is making him and Maggie tea, and her cup has a teabag with a green triangle (symbolic of Maggie) and a yellow star (symbolic of Erios, the star host) combined, which has been the basis for a lot of theorists even before analyzing the BaTB connections. Combining the fairytale and this panel though, we can conclude that Maggie will end up in some sort of relationship with Erios very soon and, over time, will fall for them for their personality regardless of their looks.
[Note 1: Star Host’s pronouns have been confirmed to be they/them.
Note 2: We know Erios’ name from snacks on the ship translated to be wishing ‘Erios’ a happy birthday, I believe.]
ANALYSIS TIME!!
Image One:
First impressions:
This is definitely the star host based on the star shaped helmet and the guitar, which matches that of the Star Host’s silhouette on the cast page.
No other clear geometric shapes (or even vague ones) except for the notable pink triangle buttons on the front of the coat.
“tube”-like patterns on neck and torso resemble that of a high-up TiTAN follower but maybe they’re an escaped follower? Coincidences don’t happen in AD and there’s no way this character’s a devout follower based on their outfit
Triangles are also very prominent everywhere in the background of this shot, which I have a mini-theory about later in this post
Image Two:
First Impressions:
More triangles present in background
Paradise-eqsue feel to the scenery (this was present in the first image as well, it’s just more visible here)
Five new (background) characters; We know they aren’t mains because none of them (silhouette or shape-symbols) match with unidentified cast characters
New bg characters also have triangle themes (in a lot of ways)
In this post I mostly just wanted to share my thoughts/impressions on the panels and point out some imagery things for them, but I do have a minor theory that I’d like to share.
THEORY: ERIOS’S LOVE OF MAGGIE
One of the curious things about the BaTB story paralleling with Maggie is that in the fairytale, the Beast needs Belle to fall in love with him for his personality in order to break the spell put on him and his castle. While I don’t believe Erios is under any sort of spell, I’ve been looking for something to explain a need (or reason) for Erios to become close to (or obsessed with?) Maggie in the first place. These images helped.
I believe that, for some reason, Erios and the fellow people on this planet are awaiting fulfillment of some sort of religious prophecy (?) involving a girl with strong ties to triangles. Everything on this planet, from what we’ve seen, is centred around the triangle. Why would that be the case if Erios, the character of this planet, is the star host? Because they’re awaiting the arrival of their foretold love. The background characters’ designs also imply that Erios is in some position of leadership on this planet, as they seem to be an exception to the triangle basis of character design. All the other characters also seem to merge better with the scenery of the planet than Erios, which means that they are either above conforming to the norm (which is what I’m leaning towards) or maybe they’re from another planet.
There isn’t much to base this theory off of but there’s something to the fact that the planet and new bg characters are created around the triangle, and the setting design does imply a paradise (utopian.dystopian possibly) vibe to the planet, which means a “prophecy” is not out of the question. Especially not when Odin’s planet had mythology about Wrathia and Nevy (and minorly Pedri and Tuls too).

Hi I’ve gotten super into MCYT (specifically Dream SMP / Tales From The SMP) and I’m probably going to post some theories on those soon but also I lowkey might format them as literary papers (or more like papers than I normally do lmao-) so yea just a heads up
Also
My English teacher said she genuinely enjoys reading my essays when I’m writing about literary analysis and I write my theories almost the exact same way and literally like- I genuinely enjoy writing those essays and I kind of want to write them for things I enjoy outside of school so I want to reactivate my theory account on and off because I like discussing this stuff :)

Re: Analysis of the Kickstarter Panels
Now that the kickstarter is over, it’s been confirmed that for the most part, none of those images were canon (or at least not canon in the sense that we’ll see them in the story, some of them might’ve been for world-building that the comic will never show us because it’s small flashback scenes that aren’t too important). I might end up archiving the post but I prefer not to do that with my theories, so I’m settling now for just making a post addressing it and linking this in the Table of Contents where the original analysis was listed.

Analysis of the Kickstarter Panels
[ALL THE THEORIES BELOW HAVE BEEN DISPROVEN, SEE HERE]
Hello all!! I’m thinking let’s just get into this, but I’d still like to preface that I don’t actually know where/how to access ‘the kickstarter video’ that these are from, these were sent to me by @gilodin. That being said, let’s analyse these!! (In the order they were sent)
1. Wrathia and the Creature (1)
In my Nevy/Wrathia Story Dissection theory, I discuss how their relationship develops and then crumbles as they age, and you can tell around how old they are in the shots based on Wrathia’s horns. Here, in the released panel, her horns show she’s around 16/17 years old. Based on my other theory, she and Nevy were very close (probably romantic) when they were 14/15 years old, and then it cuts to Wrathia in her early twenties/late teens having risen to power and left Nevy behind.
This might be a part of a flashback that shows us what exactly happened between them, and it seems to start right after the 14/15 y/o memory. We’ll get to see their interactions during the wholesome and happy part of their relationship, before the manipulative tendencies and hunger for power consume Wrathia and cause her to choose the throne over her best friend (possibly her girlfriend).
2. Chibi Ava and Maggie
I honestly don’t have many ideas for this one, but I think it happens post-timeskip due to Ava’s clothes and the way they talk about ‘the guys,’ like their group is much closer than they are in the current canon. I think because of the art style, it might be someone telling it as a story or maybe a dream sequence or something similar? Also, I think that dress Ava is wearing is definitely going to be one of her outfits post-timeskip, and even though it’s not a clear image of it (due to the art style), Michelle has drawn Ava many times in various red puffy-sleeved dresses (as fanart/concept art, not canon). Though these dresses are all just for fun, I think the real one will be very similar to what a combination of the three would look like.
Here are the dresses from Michelle’s instagram: Ava and maggie, Ava 1, Ava 2,
3. Ava and Her Book
First I’d like to say this is definitely not the same dress. I think this happens after the timeskip, though I don’t really have much to base this off of other than her overall vibe seeming more mature than currently. This is also a clear parallel to her fairytale, Alice in Wonderland, so maybe this panel is at the at the beginning of a sequence that largely parallels that story.
4. Maggie and Tuls
With this panel, I believe it is another flashback. Maggie has been with Tuls for four years (source) and in those years she’s used his magic on five guys (source). There are a few places where this doesn’t make sense though; for one, she isn’t wearing her necklace (symbolic of a noose), but this would have to be after the attempt because she’s with Tuls. Also, as was pointed out by Honeydrew on the discord, the shirt might be Ava’s. There isn’t much to base this premise on other than their colour schemes, but if this is the case it doesn’t make sense why she’d be in Ava’s shirt or a shirt reminiscent of Ava with where I think it is in the timeline.
This one really confused me so if anyone has any ideas, reblog with your thoughts or drop a hypothesis in my ask box, I’d love to hear what other people are thinking about these!
5. Wrathia and the Creature (2)
There really isn;t much for me to say about this picture except mood, honestly. This image is from the same sequence as image 1, further confirming my suspicions of it being a flashback sequence instead of just a one off memory shot.
6. Young Ava and Maggie
Here, it’s another flashback shot except this time it’s between Maggie and Ava. We already know it takes place before their split based on the energy of the panel, but that also means that this is before Maggie’s possession (note her eye colour). This scene also takes place in the little ‘house’ Ava and Maggie used to play in, as you can see the fairy lights in this shot match the ones in panel #2248 (shown below).
My guess is that this panel will be a part of a short sequence which, like Wrathia and Nevy’s flashback sequence, is intended to fill in the gaps of what really happened between the two characters. It’ll be interesting to compare the two since Maggie and Ava’s story seems to slightly parallel Wrathia and Nevy’s story.

New Odin Panels’ Symbolism / Meanings
Hello everyone, we are BACK IN ACTION!!! Due to the length of the update, there isn’t much to make a proper theory or prediction on, but it’s still always fun to point out the symbolism or connect things back to previous theories that confirm or add to the evidence of, so I hope you all enjoy this post!
I have two main things that I want to discuss, so let’s start with one of my older theory/explanation posts by discussing this panel:
There isn’t really much context needed for us to know what’s going on here, but Ava has just entered Odin’s mindspace and immediately falls off a cliff and plunges through ice into water. Now, I have several things to discuss based on this, because it confirms one of my other theories while also adding more (small) details to it.
This practically confirms that Odin’s death was from the ice incident. We currently have been able to piece together a lot about what happened that day from small hints and symbols throughout the comic: Odin, Olai, and their father were hunting and Odin fell through the ice. The only reason Odin survived was because at that moment, Pedri had taken his potion and possessed Odin, which returns life to the host. His father couldn’t’ve been expected to predict this, so he’d tried to save Odin and ended up dying in his place. In panel 2614, Odin is repeating to himself that ‘it’s all my fault,’ which is presumably what Olai has been drilling into his head ever since.
There’s also a panel in the previous update that provides a little more (not-very-important-but-still-neat) detail about the incident:
In panel 2604, Ava thinks that the pit isn’t that deep. She isn’t worried at all when she climbs in to help him out, not until she’s already falling down the suddenly steep cliff. Even though this can be chalked up to ‘they’re in limbo, it doesn’t follow reality,’ of course it doesn’t, but from a child’s mind this could be real. Odin was ~10 when he died, and children often see things as easier/safer/closer/bigger than they are; What if his mind shows the cliffside like that because that’s what it felt like from his point of view?
The next thing I wanted to discuss was the subtle hint in panel 2614
I was studying the armour and the swords trying to find TiTAN armour, or maybe other Monarchy’s emblems, or small world-building things like that which could possibly connect us to Angellicpurr or something, but then I realised the swords themselves were as detailed as it got, which led me to this:
“The Eight of Swords shows a woman bound and blindfolded. Eight swords surround her, seemingly trapping her in place, a symbol of the limiting thoughts, beliefs and mindset that prevent her from moving forward in her life. However, look closer: if the woman removed her blindfold, she would quickly realise that she can escape her predicament by letting go of her limiting beliefs and establishing a new, more empowered mindset. The water pooled at her feet suggests that her intuition might see what her eyes cannot.”
Biddy Tarot
Odin represents the Eight of Swords in all its meaning right here (and possibly everywhere just as his character). The card represents self-imposed restriction and victim mentality, both of which he is subject to. Many people think it strange that Odin, (stuttering, nervous, shy Odin,) is the one with Pride’s sin, but it makes sense here. If you pull the Eight of Swords it is telling you to save yourself from that mindset because you’re the only thing holding yourself back. Odin is holding himself back, causing him to shy away from any sort of display of pride, even though he definitely has it.
This small clue makes me even more excited to see Pact!Odin, honestly, because I think that he’ll make the pact once he’s broken out of this and had a revelation-moment where he decided he’s had enough of playing the victim. This can also tie back in Odin’s fairytale (The Wolf and The Fox) where the wolf is lazy and uses the fox to get what he wants, until one day the fox has had enough and traps the wolf in a trap made for him. Olai is the wolf, and I can’t wait to see Odin’s fox decide he’s had enough.

There’s 100% a Moonshadow version of what Kasef became
Hey guys, welcome to another theory! Disclaimer: This ‘theory’ is more of me pointing out details that show all of these things that 100% can happen in the canon of the TDP world; Please read this knowing that I am not saying we’ll definitely see them, this is not one of my predictive theories. (I’m just saying if we do this is how we will and what they’ll look like.)
Let’s start with what we already have seen: Kasef’s transformation. (S3:E7, Hearts of Cinder).
In this episode, we see that Viren only truly needs one thing for this spell, and that thing is the Staff of the Sunfire Elves. This holds enough power that it is the only tool or ingredient he needs to transform a whole army into sunfire-like beings, but because it’s dark magic he’s using, their minds will be twisted in the process and these will most likely be permanent effects.
The staff being the only thing required means that this spell can (probably) be replicated in every type of elf there is, as we’ve already seen the confirmed existence of another one in the hands of the moonshadow elves.
Based on that, we can now confirm that there’s a moonshadow possibility of these, and because there are two confirmed staffs in existence, the chances of every elf type having one are very high. Now, let’s continue on to what they would look like.
With the sunfire elves, when their power activates they become more aggressive and their magic heightens their strength and fighting ability. This, at least the way I see it, is why Kasef not only gained the lava skin pattern but he also bulked up unnaturally and became irrationally aggressive/angry. (See side by side below.)
Taking those notes into account, we can predict more about the moonshadow elf monsters than just ‘they’ll have shadow powers’.
Due to moonshadow elves’ powers enhancing their stealth ability, making them practically invisible and aiding their natural light weighted speed, it’s safe to say the dark magic would try to replicate their agility. It’d backfire though, making it grotesque, as dark magic does, so the monsters would probably be lithe, but unhealthily; their ribs and spine would be tight against their skin, which would be permanently in shadow form.
That’s all I have for now, guys, but I’d love to hear your thoughts or any additional notes you guys might have to further pin down the physique of these beings. (Also let me know if any artists try to draw this because it’d be really interesting to see art of these things, based on these new revelations.) EDIT: I just finished watching TheoryPop’s youtube video on a theory related to the Moon Nexus, where the driving question was ‘why would they continue to protect a broken nexus?’ If that is truly where moonshadow elf magic is strongest, there’s a decent chance that the Moonshadow Staff is somewhere hidden there. (But hopefully they’d be smart enough to have taken it with them during the Xadia split but who’s to say.)

(But also our theories differ at where the elf enters the family and I’m lowkey leaning towards yours with that skywing elf being his father except A, appearance and B, Ezran?? talks??? to animals?????)
OKAY EVERYONE SIT DOWN AND BUCKLE UP BECAUSE IT’S TDP THEORY TIME!
I’m 87% sure Callum’s part elf and here’s why:
