EscapedAudios: So there’s this orcish football player, and he’s reconnecting with his estranged teenage daughter.
Me: (mistakes “orcish” for “ostrich”)
My brain:
I call this the unwarranted birb AU.

god forbid a girl have hobbies- (she’s a menace and I also love her very much)
Ellie is the most dangerous and morally evil character in the Slasherverse. Worse than any of the Slashers. She's never killed anyone but people just kinda die around her, because of her. She's aware of this and totally OK with it. She's the Slasherverse equivalent of some kind of diabolical lawyer that gets innocent people sent to prison and gets mass murderers and mafia bosses off the hook on technicalities.
She's also my favorite character in the Slasherverse.

Finally drew Logan, another character from @scytheaudio’s Dark One Series. While Rai is voiced by me, Logan is voiced by the wonderful Jimbro Audios!

I know I did one of these on Twitter but I can’t remember which one I put but I’m working on episode 4 of my SCP series so I’ll put that one cause I am really proud of it: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLd_zU0wtDrnyX_WhbG8yTCsWKXOIBli-z&si=NI3ns28WoQT3bPxZ
Roleplay VA self promo thread!
I've done this a few times on Twitter before, but never on Tumblr. If you're a VA and want to share a series of yours that you think didn't get enough traction on YouTube, share it here! I support all shameless self promotion, so share without shame.
I always listen to everything that people share in these threads, even if it takes me a long time! Show me your audios!

I’ve been wanting to draw my girl for a WHILE but I could not for the life of me figure out her hair and outfit but I finally did it- I sort of based her hair on the voice actress (me) because when I had long hair that’s the style I imagined her with and now I have short hair and so does she, also I think it’s better for combat, and I like the idea her having a little armor, not as much as Blade but just a little protection- maybe not metal unless she’s immune to her own powers, since it’s a conductor and all that, but another strong protective material! Also she’s got freckles for days cause I love giving characters freckles- Y’all should go listen to Scythes Dark One series if you haven’t already! And the rest of his channel tbh-

Oh also, I actually have considered writing little side stories in-universe with the Adventurers friends/party members. It’s kinda my own little D&D world and I’d love to expand it
My Thoughts on An Adventurer's Heart
Warning! This will have spoilers!
Okay! We've got ourselves a collaborative piece written by Riley W. at @dragonsongstudios and produced by Rhonda Parker of @wordsbyparker. Here we have a five-part story about an upcoming adventurer and his blooming romance with a half-elf merchant named, Rowan Morningstream voiced by Rhonda herself. This series definitely feels DND inspired and as someone who has no experience with DND, I do love how this story is played out. While the Listener (who is portrayed as a male) is the main character, we also get to look into Rowan's point of view. The Listener starts off as a traveler who's on his way to becoming an adventurer while also taking on a journey that's most important to him. He meets Rowan in her shop where she gives him the supplies he needs, tips, and advice on his journey going forward. The second episode takes place some time after Traveler's journey begins and he returns to Rowan's shop so the two can catch up. We see the two get more friendly with each other especially since Rowan decides to address Traveler by, 'Adventurer' now. We also get to learn more of what Adventurer had been getting himself into while on his journey such as the friends he made along the way and a few obstacles to conquer. This conversation later transfers over to the next episode where Rowan treats Adventurer for a drink at a nearby tavern (The Dancing Dryad) run by Rowan's friend named, Tiber voiced by Zeta Audio. I liked Tiber. He was a pretty chill guy...and a bit nosy.
While at the bar, the two discuss how things have been and the people who Adventurer has befriended over time. His party consists of a human bard named Peyton with no last name, but access to powerful connections, a half cleric named Tiran, a copper dragonborn, a barbarian named Coran, a rouge warrior named Nissa, and an earth genasi named Ian (short for Imperian) who was reluctant to join at first, but grew to like the group and has become an older sibling-type to them.
(If I got these names wrong, I apologize!)
Episode 4 takes place in another timeskip where Rowan and Adventurer have written to each other more and Rowan has been gaining more customers, but suddenly the letters have stopped coming for over or about a month. Rowan's worries are eased when Adventurer comes to visit her so they can talk again. Now when it comes to Adventurer, he is faced with a noble from a place called, Everglow, an assassin who was after him, and that he is being blackmailed or else his family will meet a gruesome end. His party offers to help save his family while Peyton digs up anything he could find on the noble. What they did find is that other people were in a similar situation and was able to free them too. There was also a handful of corruption because of the noble Starcrest family that would put them in deep trouble if their dirty work was leaked to the public hence why the noble hired the assassin to go after Adventurer and his party. Thankfully, they were able to thwart the assassin off.
Aside from dealing with all that mess, the two also discuss how they feel about each other and it's really sweet. Unfortunately, that sweetness is cut short when a stranger arrives at Rowan's shop to question her. This stranger was no other than the noble whose been after Adventurer since the beginning. A crazed, egotistical sorcerer by the name of, Edmund Starcrest from the Starcrest family voiced by ZSakuVA who honestly gives a pretty threatening performance. He paralyzes Rowan, kidnaps her, and leaves a letter for Adventurer telling him where to meet up to settle things. Things lead up to Episode 5 where Adventurer receives the letter and immediately takes action to save his new love. It's also nice to see how concerned Tiber was for Rowan's safety before he wishes Adventurer good luck. I also love how when Edmund is monologuing about his plans, Rowan isn't having any of his bullcrap. Also, I gotta applaud her for getting out of being CHAINED up! Strong girl, that one! I also have to note that Gwenifred voices a servant in the Starcrest family home. The fight between Adventurer and Edmund was a lot of fun to listen in on and the conclusion to the story was fun too.
While the whole story is around fifty minutes, it's still fun to engage in. Riley did such a good job with writing this story and Rhonda, Zeta, Saku, and Gwenifred did such an excellent job voicing the characters. While I do wish we got to see more or know more of Adventurer's friends from his travels, I'm glad that they did contribute to the story at some points. I recommend giving it a listen if you have less than an hour to spare.
