I remember that one time we had an argument with someone who thought that alters couldn't have different genders and pronouns.

Octocon is pretty barebones right now

but

We find it easier to use then Simply Plural is, plus you can turn on permanent tips if you need them (like us)

The only downside for us is the lack of non-alter statuses

The app is called Octocon, and it's only on Samsung/Android right now. (IOS is coming soon)

It has a discord bot as well.

upsetting to see the octocon app still requires signup, especially with google or discord. i would prefer an app that can be on one device only and secure only on the device, not shared to "the cloud" via login. this is why i suggest a real life journal or to use a notes app instead of sharing super personal information on an app that requires other social media accounts. :/

While I personally don't mind it too much, that is a fair concern. I hope the developers add the option to not link accounts in the future for those who want it.

Exite - An alter whos source is of a being that is " other worldly ". This can include aliens, spiritual beings, ghosts, etc

Plutite - An alter whos source is from a stuffed animal

Persite - An alter whos source is someones persona ( could be the systems or someone elses. made with youtuber personas in mind )

Sihtite - An alter whos source is of a pre-existing alter

Duoite - An alter whos source is a group of people mushed into one being ( similar to the second definition of vocite, but not exclusive to bands )
