Hello this is oneofabi! I took a few months to be more stable after a few unfortunate events. Due to being in an abusive situation I had to take some time away to recollect myself and find resources to get some support. I am still in an unsafe place right now, but soon I will be able to make it out!

As for this account, I will continue it, but I won’t be as active as I used to be and there will be more sketches than fully fleshed out pieces that are digital art!

One thing I noticed is that you guys really enjoyed one of the pieces I queued for my project in February! Bad thing about that is not all of the pieces I had were actually posted which is unfortunate because I deleted ibispaint with all my work on it.

Good news! I can always just remake those pieces and give it to you now, it just won’t be valentines themed unfortunately because it is too late for that.

Besides that, I hope you guys are having a great pride! Let’s make the rest of the year greater!

A much needed hiatus :)

Currently going through some turmoil in my life that has really caused a toll on my mental health. Because of this, I will be taking a hiatus until I can get back on my feet. In a few months I’ll be able to confirm whether I will continue with this account bc this is a situation that cannot really be fixed in just a few weeks.

I know this might be sudden or shocking but I will update early about the position of this account! For now, I’ll miss you!

I won’t really answer to questions asking what’s wrong, just know that I’ll be finding help and will be okay. 👍 😓

On posting bi butch4femme and my twitter account coming in June

NOTE: I want to clarify that the butch4femme harley x ivy has been postponed to a later date so I can focus on drawing for my February project!

What I love about tumblr is how curated it can be. It is rarely a day where I see people on here try to start harassment campaigns on someone for doing something they don’t like. When I post bi butchfemme on tumblr it is rare that I feel scared to be open about it.

But twitter is a more hostile and conservative space. It does not matter how many resources prove bi butchfemmes have always existed, the want for exclusivity seems to prevail the importance of queer history or the acknowledgement of bi women’s contributions to butchfemme spaces. For this reason I don’t think I will be as open about butchfemme on my twitter account!

I want my account to be a safe space for bisexual butches and femmes! I feel a need to protect our community from hate so even if there’s a period where there’s hate on this account I will try my best to remove it and keep quiet about it. I do that because even if twitter, TikTok, or people in real life is hostile towards bi butchfemmes, I want this acc to be a place to escape from that.

February is coming up soon meaning that I will be able to express my love for bisexual butchfemmes with my art pieces. No matter how many people rise up to deny us of our history, I’ll always be there to support and spread love to you all! See you guys there!
