Uuuugh yeah sorry for the lack of content again, I’ve outlined reasons and future schedules on my ko-fi blog post:

Dr. Delicate Touch terrifying all the Raphs is so fking funny. I'm imagining a scene where one of the Raphs does SOMETHING & it pisses Rise!Mikey off so much that when his bros come home, there's a giant burnt crater in the wall & Mikey's casually sitting on a chair w/ his feet propped up on Raph's shell like he's a coffee table, & his bros are like, "what HAPPENED?" & Mikey's like, "we had a very productive conversation :) Raph gimme my orange juice" & Raph meekly complies & everyone is scared

I love the potential that any Raph vs Dr Delicate Touch gives. Both hotheaded, blunt and rude. Low-key every Raph has tried to fight him but has lost horrifically.

I finally updated Subsidence, my latest TMNT 2003 fanfic! The chapter focuses on Casey and April this time, who are trying to find the turtles before disaster.

Commission art dump!

I’ve realised that I really haven’t been active again and so (with permission from the customer) I decided to do an art dump of the latest commission I have done because it’s kind of turtles? Also I love their OC lol

So um yeah I don’t think I’m going to get time to update any of my fanfics this week. Subsidence has already gone way past it’s mark and I haven’t even began writing the next chapter of Too Many Turtles. I’ve literally had no free time to myself as I am juggling three assignments, commissions and personal stuff rn, which is also why this blog has gone quite silent, oops.

Sorry, I really hope I get at least a little time next week to update them. I promise Subsidence is at least half way through its next chapter 😓

Again, I kind of combined a few versions of him but mostly 2012 and 2003. I do want to do a proper design when my classes end of all of them and how I would design them :)

(I also love the idea of Raph being super brash but becoming a stammering mess whenever he encounters someone he has a crush on, in particular Mona Lisa. I love that character trope so I drew an expression for it :) )

I don’t actually feel happy, or at least I don’t think I do, a lot of the time? But then again I’m very very bad at reading my own emotions and always have been 😅

Some things of note that I like are:

Drawing things, even if random doodles, I literally make sure I draw something at least once a day :)

I do also like writing a lot, hence why I write fanfiction too

Oh, I do like taking apart things and building things! I love dismantling broken technology or putting together furniture, or fixing things. Odd but it is very fun. That’s probably why I like lego so much tbh

That reminds me, I also get happy when I find little trinkets/people give me random things I can collect, like batteries and screws and bottle caps. The most random, useless stuff I love to hoard away (I think I have over 200 bottle caps now? Unfortunately they aren’t as common in the UK as we have plastic screw lids on most of our drinks which is very sad). Give me money and I won’t spend it but give me bolt or empty perfume bottle and I will respect you forever and be happy for the rest of the day. Again, quite strange but it makes me notably happy which has gotta count for something

Genuinely I am not sure, I’m not a very good person to ask because I am not very aware of my own emotions at all. Oops.

Mostly it’s TMNT stuff ngl. Constantly daydreaming/planning/thinking/creating stuff about them. The hyperfixation hit hard.

This is me firmly asking how the HECK do the turtles beaks work? I’m going insane trying to figure out how to draw them. I finally figured out human jaws and noses and switching to turtles is throwing me for a loop

I still can’t get them right 😓

I drew mostly animals before getting into TMNT (I was a warrior cats fan for a while before dropping out) so I had more experience with snouts and muzzles, but I really hate drawing defined beaks…one day I’ll figure it out but right now my method and style changes every couple of drawings or so lol
