The Multiverse is a discord community open for plural systems. We strive to be caring, open, honest and inclusive. We are an 18+ community, owned by plural systems for plural identities, and open to allies of systems as well as inclusive identities and questioning.

As well as DID, OSDD and Plural identities we understand that many of us are Neurodivergent or others and we strive to nourish and engage wherever possible. We are heavily inclusive of LGBTQ2IA+ identities and stand by anyone under the umbrella that is ever expanding.

The Multiverse is owned by Earth & Dusk Media, which of course is Earthnicity and Duskfall Portal crew as well as shared with Rev. OTN Angel. Fear not, The Multiverse is not a corporation, it is not a scam - we wanted a space for everyone to thrive in.

This meant that there would be a server that is fresh, new and diverse. We ask that you be mindful of everyone in your journeys.

Discord Rules Reminder for System Discords

Disclaimer: We're not pigeonholing anyone, nor are we attempting to engage in discourse. This is simply experience and suggestion. We run an 18+ bodied plural support server, and wanted to share our experience.

Recently we have noticed an uptake with not just one situation, wherein rules were not followed in the way one would hope they would be followed and/or applied.

Given that MOST plural support servers are volunteer run, nobody should be giving PROFESSIONAL ADVICE without having professional credentials behind them. (And even then: outside of an office?) We say 18+ and "BODIED" because we've had systems come in before with the assumption that if you're 15 and many of your alters are 50+ or even 30+ - that it's ok to join. We've also had people mistake rules similar to this that in which we state that if at all possible a GUARDIAN in your system watches a little / and or middle in spaces where required-- that people utterly ignore this. SO: As a kind hearted reminder: That if you are a server that has the ability to do so, and is 18+ (bodied of course) for security reasons: Please make sure to remind people that your rules are tightly secured, remind people that if they have a frontstuck little that they should be educating them or possibly temporarily limiting them from spaces they could get triggered from. And no, this is NOT towards any ONE situation, and nor do would I hope any discord use unethical practices to moderate their servers. This is a broad focused issue that we've faced over nearly two years of running BOTH our parent server and our plural support server. We don't limit it because people CANT be a system under 18: it's that we don't have the staff nor stamina to do it in our plural support server. In our main server we have rules in place which means that like any public discord: You're at risk for your own behaviour, in which that there could be triggering content, and we try and keep the NSFW as far away as possible, but sometimes people view "NSFW" and think a crop top and shorts is "PORN".

(Yes trust me i've been in discords where this is a regular thing, that supposedly showing any skin at all - and no i'm not talking religious people, i'm talking white people with no life XD - no skin no booba, or ppl need to get banned according to these people.) PLEASE be careful when you're running your servers, we're all incredibly diverse, and we're all incredibly quirky: No one server is the same, and no ONE approach is the same. Check on your staff, make sure they're applying rule 0 when they need it. Check on your rules every once in a while, poll your users (We troll them to see how bad we're doing: Nobody leaves it's funny) - ask people how to improve your server!

<3 Remember that in all that you do, those that come before you, with you and after you are proud in how far that you've come in what you're doing.

Repeated takes of harassment, rejoining and evading IP bans - will repeat in reports to Discord moderation teams.

We take safety and security seriously, both in our Media server, our plural support servers and in general.

As well as the following guidelines that apply to all of our discord servers:
