Well y’all, guess who’s back!
I’ve been doing well this summer on my workouts and I just did Week 5 day 1 today! I got insanely light-headed and couldn’t do my fourth set, but I still felt the burn for the first three sets. 
I finally took a progress pic today because I have a little less than three weeks until I’m beach bound and I’m determined to tighten up. Here goes nothing.

Well then...
So I woke up sore (to be expected), but the part I forgot about was my 8 mile hike. My soreness didn't forget about my 8 mile hike which is unfortunate.
Anyways, I'd say a 3.5 hour hike that had a 2,000 ft. elevation increase and "difficult" tag deserves credit for today's LISS.
I'm going strong and not stopping no matter how much my sore legs tell me to. Get me in the hot tub. Now.

THE KAYLA MOVEMENT
Well I'm jumping back on the Kayla Itsines crazy bus today. I'm back as of today doing Week 1: Day 1*
*Otherwise known as death. 
I thought I'd be able to jump right back into the program after taking four weeks off but boy was I wrong. I made it through the first two circuits and about halfway through number 3. Needless to say, I may have been "losing weight" (I'm down to 144.4 as of yesterday) but I'm like 95% sure after that workout that I actually lost muscle. POOP.
Well anyways,I'm hiking around 8 miles tomorrow so that'll be my LISS for sure. Who else started with the Kayla Movement today?? I'd love to encourage others to keep going!!

So I'm proud to say I made it through three straight weeks without falling off the bandwagon! Week 4 was a joke...I did Legs/Cardio on Tuesday and then nothing the rest of the week. Whoopsies!  
I hate excuses but I'm gonna use a boy as my excuse for this one. 
I have sorority presents this Saturday so it's time for me to jump back on the death by Kayla train!
Legs/Cardio Week 5 was do-able! I still hate lunge jumps.
I will always hate lunge jumps.

3. I'll be honest, you're not the first person to ask me this but I will not distribute Kayla's books through email or any other source. I believe that she has worked hard to make herself successful and do not agree with selling her short.

Week 3 WORKOUT
Boom I successfully made it through week 3 yo!
My arms were a little sore going into Arms and Abs today but I survived! It's an amazing feeling to see progress in myself and other people are beginning to see it too!!
Last night was Halloween and one of my friends flat out said that my legs looked ripped! AGH BEST COMPLIMENT EVER. And then one of my roommates told me I'm looking so sleek and toned. I'm way too stoked right now.
AND on the bright side, I went grocery shopping today so guess who has healthy food for the week...ME. Ugh I love my life way too much.
Keep pushing babes!

WEEK THREE BRO!
This week's been crazy so I finally did Legs/Cardio week 3 today (Wednesday)! Oopsies!
If you had told me week 1 day 1 that I'd already be this much stronger just starting week 3 I'd say you were crazy. It's amazing the progress I've made in just two weeks.
And this is with severely terrible eating....
I literally have zero excuses for eating like I do. I have a car to get to the grocery store. I have money for healthy foods. There's literally a farmer's market in the quad every Wednesday. Ugh...But really it's time to stop making excuses on the diet side and if I'm going to commit to slaying my body with workouts I need to go all out...which includes eating like I know I should.
No wonder why my face started breaking out again.

Yeah buddy I successfully did everything for week 2! (Well kinda...)
Wednesday I did that Nike Training Club workout so I counted that as LISS #2 and took Thursday and Friday off.
I went surfing on Saturday for a solid hour and a half so there was LISS number 3 for the week. 
I know it's Sunday but I just did Friday week 4 Full Body Workout tonight and slayed it. I can completely feel myself getting stronger. Yes I still sweat like nobody's business but my arms are so much stronger than they were two weeks ago. 
When I went home this weekend I weighed myself and I've gained 3 pounds from about 5 weeks ago but it's okay. My mom said my thighs look not just a lot more toned but they have a different shape to them.
Progress is addicting and motivating.
I'm ready to dominate Week 3 legs tomorrow morning!!

Today was definitely do-able!!
The workout itself wasn't too bad, the only thing that was a struggle was the 4 mountain climbers + a push up. I don't know if it was because I was so tired already or what but those took everything out of me.
I guess technically I got in my LISS today too...Nike Training Club did an event at my school today and it definitely made me sweat but it wasn't bad overall.
Yes, I will be sore tomorrow. Yes, I will savor it. Yes, I'm that person who loves being sore. 
It tells me I worked hard

Well, I survived Legs and Cardio Monday!!
Week 1 was okay: I made it through the circuit workouts (barely) and kind of just counted my walking around campus as my 2-3 LISS workouts for the week.
This week, I'm planning on just walking on the treadmil/biking and studying for 30 minutes 2/3 times and maybe we'll see even better results! (aka not cheating lol)
I definitely need to clean up my eating...I've been having tons of cravings and have been completely giving into them (#sorrynotsorry I like to live).
Anyways, CHEERS TO WEEK 2!!
