How to go on a Mental Diet?
▫️Let everything and everyone pass by without judging and criticizing, including yourself. It's not your problem nor your job to keep on criticizing people on an hourly basis. Say no to the judging habit that you're addicted to. Stop fixating on things and people that you don't want to manifest back into your life. Likewise, don't repeat self-destructive thoughts to yourself. You can't escape yourself. The good news is, you always had the free will to choose where your mind goes. Take accountability for your own thoughts, reactions and energy allocation. You are the first one to experience your own inner doings. You can't blame it on someone else. You can only control yourself.

▫️Social media fasting. When manifesting something, don't go on social media for more than an hour a day. Your mind consumes everything you see and hear. You must not consume other people's junk broadcasts/projections. Their problems with the world, are their own. Don't keep on accepting and reading it just because it's on your feed. Just like how we prefer to inhale fresh air over smoke from vehicles, we turn away from pollutants.

▫️Feed your mind only with beautiful ideas. Feed it faith. Feed it with truth. Feed your mind with love. Focus on what lifts your spirit up and adds beauty to your life. You can use words of affirmation, creating your vision board, looking at pictures, videos, listening to uplifting, beautiful and happy music or subliminals (be selective and careful with what you listen to); writing up your own ideal life through scripting (it's journalling but in a future-oriented perspective), meditation, visualization, the state akin to sleep and acting as if.

▫️Persist. You don't do this mental diet a few minutes a day. Please give yourself the luxury of living in this beautiful state throughout your day until you fall asleep. Please don't spiral back to your previous state. Enter into this new heavenly state with awe and wonder completely enamored by the euphoria, never to return to your previous hell that you wanted to escape from.
▫️Most of all, be kind to yourself. Don't hold on to previous limiting beliefs about yourself and how the world works. Your ideal life is possible, only if you have the courage to use your will in order for it to happen. Give yourself plenty of love, care, patience and understanding.

I make these comics as much to remind myself what I'm learning as I do to share them with you all. I finally took action to get help with my anxiety when I realized it was preventing me from living my life. I kept cancelling plans or avoiding things because I felt anxious---and avoiding them made the anxiety go away! (At least until the next time.) However, it was clear that I wasn't making choices aligned with my values, and I wanted to change that. Facing your fears a little at a time is often used in exposure therapy. When a therapist first recommended it to me, I balked because I didn't feel brave enough to do something scary. However, the very act of doing something scary has helped me feel braver. It is still very difficult sometimes! But I know it's important work.

Are you stuck in the anxiety cycle?
Something makes you feel anxious -> You decide to avoid it -> The anxiety goes away...temporarily.
The anxious/avoidant cycle can make you feel relieved in the short term, but in the long term, it can prevent you from living the life you want.
Breaking the cycle means facing your fears. (You think: "But they're scary! That's why I'm anxious!")
Pushing through fear is less uncomfortable than the dread that comes from feeling helpless in the face of anxiety.
Start small. What do you need to help you start breaking the cycle? (Make a list of things to do to feel safe and in control.)
The more times you do it, the more confidence you'll feel that you can.
