Demure | Future Updates

I’ve been finding a lot of DM’s and asks centered around this fic, and I thought it would be right to talk about if there is a future for it, and the answer is:

YES. I’m halfway done with Chapter Eight and can probably get it out in the next week or so. My writing style has changed a bit since the last I’ve written a fanfic of this caliber, as in, explicit, so please bare with me as we go onto this roller coaster ride together lmao.

I’m here and there. I still have access to this blog and still see everything even if I’m not posting all the time. But I’m doing great! I missed all of you guys so much even if I don’t know any of you personally. I feel like I lost some of my friends, y’know?

SEPHIROTH MAKING PANCAKES WITH HIS S/O WOULD INCLUDE:

Sephiroth is a silent lover. Meaning every word you say, every action you’ve done, every dream you dreamt, it’s locked somewhere inside his head and he knows just about everything there is to you. You never have to remind him twice of what your favorite things are, because he’s heard them already, countless times maybe, but he never forgets.

You probably mentioned in an off-hand comment at a restaurant or in bed. How much you love the soft, delicate taste of homemade pancakes with your favorite sauce dripping onto the plate. The numerous toppings, the sweetened buzz on your lips, the cherished moments of a homely life with nothing but the food upon your plate and the glow of early mornings. It’s a simple and quant little scene, and you crave it just about as much as the pancakes themselves. 

But Sephiroth isn’t a cook, nor does he care for food as much, nor as well, as Angeal. It appears to be more like a chore, and though he knows he can make it, does he really want to?

He’ll spend most of the days leading up to the event looking through about every cooking book under the sun. Every recipe is different, every cook who’s ever spent their time in the kitchen has their own tale to tell. He can never figure out which one is the “right” one, but it makes the job easier when you’re both in the kitchen.

But when the day comes, everything becomes a total mess. Pancake batter on the ceiling, flour in your hair, cracked egg shells falling to the floor as you tried to clean the sticky batter from your fingers. But despite the looming feeling of having to clean it up later, it’s a moment you can never forget.

It becomes the one of the few times you hear him laugh. It’s cut clear and fills the room, so precise, as if you could bottle it forever. You tell him he should do it more often, and he gives you this softened look, lips curved just at the tips, and says, “we’ll see.”

Eventually, hours later passed morning, you two finally make something worth cooking. It’s still lumpy, and not the best, but before you could add it to the pan in your excitement, he finally pours in your favorite part: chocolate chips.

With a satisfied grin, and sweat building at your forehead, you finally have a platter of decent looking pancakes. Some of the chocolate chips have oozed out of the sides, and some didn’t look completely cooked, but it didn’t matter. You did it!

The best part of it all? Sitting down at your table and having him try it. He makes a grimace, he’s not a big fan of sweets, and he swore he ate a ball of uncooked flour the two of you didn’t stir in correctly, but he sees how much you enjoy them. How you smother them in different toppings, not caring there had been errors. He doesn’t say anything demeaning, just listens to you quietly as you make more plans for tomorrow’s breakfast.

BLM

Today a 13-year old boy was convicted of felon arson in less than 24 hours. Both him and a young 12-year old girl were caught in the bathroom of a public park. On video, it showcases the 12-year old setting things on fire, with the 13-year old actively trying to stop her before receding to the back, he had done nothing, other than being caught on the public cameras alongside her.

She has not been found, but since he was the only one caught, in less than 24 hours of the crime, he has been convicted, even after the cops had issued it as accessory and proof he was not the one doing the crime. 

He had spent the night in Juvenile Detention and will remain there until the 7th of January because, as the District Attorney ADMIITED on the phone, “someone has to take the blame.” 

This is why BLM matters, why justice needs to happen. Just because someone isn’t dead or shot, does not mean there are still people who need help from the corrupted system we’re stuck in.

From accessory to felon arson? Does that make since to you?

This is my little brother. He’s in trouble because of a flawed system. And if they don’t find this girl, the true culprit will not be caught and my brother will be charged for everything. Simply because he was caught at the scene of the crime. 

The DA is at fault. 

I live in a small remote town called Rupert, Idaho, where BLM, LGBTQ, and more is laughed at and not seen as anything serious. So blatant racism is large between the white and Hispanic community. 

I know Tumblr is a hellsite, but I also know how much the people here want justice and a future we can believe in. It starts here. Every misuse of injustice NEEDS to be showcased.

Cloud is a visual person. Someone’s fine beauty will be the first thing clicking in his mind. Your hair, your smile, the curves of your body will all be shrunken down to being just visually appealing to him. Not to mention the shyness of your actions. 

I also tend to think Cloud wouldn’t want anyone too rambunctious. I see him picking out the more demure and quiet ones that are very much like him in terms of social interaction and personality. Someone who understands the joy of silence and keeping to themselves. 

ALSO. NATURE. Our boy can’t stay indoors for more than a few days. He constantly wants to be one the move. Either patrolling the desert, wandering the forests, stargazing at night, he prefers the outdoors too, and it would be in his favor to get someone who’s willing to deal with the bugs and dust. Sometimes, he’ll simply take you outside to watch the comets or the sunset as a way to spend time with you. 

He’s also so touch starved at his point, he too craves physical attention. Sometimes it can be as mundane as holding hands, but he’ll want to cuddle in the night, sleep on the couch in a heaping pile of blankets with you, just feel your warmth as the lazy days go by. He just wants to feel loved man.
