Hansry Week 2025

Attended my first writing challenge in quite some time, and ended up writing 23k words all together in about a week. Be advised that this entire thing is an A/B/O series where Henry is an alpha and Hans is an omega. No dubcon or noncon happens nor will happen in this series. Otherwise everything is tagged.

Of a scent so sweet - Series Link on AO3

Day 1 Flowers - the scent of your love 347 words It’s the scent that catches his attention first, chamomile and a tiny hint of lavender. He must be an omega then, to smell as lovely as he does. Too bad the scent is the only lovely thing about him.

Day 2 First time - flowing in the wind 592 words “Is this your first time?”

He slowly turns his head to look over at the Lord standing beside him, grinning like the little brat he is, hands firmly placed on his hips and blonde hair flowing in the wind.

Day 3 Missing scene - lingering on thy skin 827 words He watches the men lust after Hans, treating him less than respectfully just because of what he is.

Day 4 Heat - the taste of your lips 4511 words (future fic) He knows something is off when he returns to Pirkstein after being gone for quite some time and not one of the guards will look him in the eye. They all bow their heads and look to the ground after greeting him, their “welcome back, sir Henry” more performatory than necessary, all turning to walk away as he tries to say hello in return. Not rudely, just dismissively in a way he is no longer used to, as if they have more important matters at hand.

Day 5 Wedding - the feel of your hands on mine 1213 words “You know I don’t want this, Uncle, so forgive me the apprehension, please!”

Hans knows he’s being a brat, he knows he’s being difficult, he knows he’s being less than graceful. But the feeling of suffocation hasn’t faded, the panic rattling around in his brain as if he’s in a small room, overwhelming and scary.

Day 6 Festival/Free day - the look of your smile 584 words (future fic) “Come now, Henry, you’re the one that wanted to go to this festival. Don’t make me regret going.”

Day 7 Happy Endings - hold me in thy arms (and forever make me yours) 15 311 words “Audentes fortuna iuvat!”

He can only smile as Hans raises his hands into the air, the calming and bright, happy scent of chamomile flowing through the air as he does. It’s something quite beautiful about seeing someone like Hans, someone so noble who usually has to fight for everything that he wants and has earned, just because of a second gender he never asked for, let themselves go this fully. Racing down a country road with his hands high, head lifted towards the shining sun that almost makes him glow, happy and healthy and perfectly fine, even after being locked up for weeks. It's a testament to his resilience, a promise of who he is meant to be and meant to become, something so close to a shining beacon of hope that Henry finds it hard to look away. It’s a beautiful sight to see, and one he wouldn’t miss out on.

it was a very long almost-two-months. but i finally finished the comic! i overcame my ptsd and enjoyed drawing. so. i hope you'll enjoy it too!

I’ve seen a lot of romance in my life. Video games, book, television, movies, plays, musicals, you name it.

Having just finished the last mission of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and the last post mission talk with Hans I am in awe over a romance done so right in a way I have never seen before. Like… I don’t have the words. I’ve seen the romance scene maaaaany times but seeing it play out on my own screen after playing through my own game. Wow. Just wow.

What games. What a gorgeous job by writers, actors, directors and game designers/developers. I may never stop talking about it. I definitely won’t stop playing it.

Wow. Again. Congratulations, Warhorse. May you win game of the year and more.
