So funny detail about Band of Brothers in German:

Because the scene in “Points” where Liebgott translates the German General’s speech doesn’t really work in German he, instead of translating, just spends like 2 minutes indirectly saying the speech is pathetic and the General doesn’t even know real combat. And I feel like that’s just so in character lol

Also for some reason the General, also got a german voice actor (that’s not the actor portraying the character) and I have no idea why they did that because the actor is from Germany and his pronunciation is perfect

Note: so this was supposed to be short and now it’s over 2k words. Also it’s more like two stories as headcanons idk that just happened but anyways I hope you enjoy and please let me know your opinions! My requests are still open and my rules are pinned!

First of all I think the way Babe confesses to you would be different depending on when you meet, so here are the two ways this could go:

The first scenario is if you meet before Bastogne: Babe is very obvious about his feelings for you but confessing would still take a lot of courage from him and would probably happen more in the heat of the moment.

Let’s say you’re part of Easy Company as a medic and you both meet in Aldbourne before going to Holland.

You would obviously instantly catch Babe’s eye because he thinks you are the most beautiful person he has ever seen and so he wants to get to know you better.

It would probably start with him just staring at you all the time and not being subtle about it at all. It would be like him looking at you from across the mess hall, staying close to you on practice missions so he could catch a glimpse of you taking care of a fake wound (and wishing he was the one who gets to pretend to be wounded) and randomly (or not so randomly) passing you on your way to the hospital and looking back over his shoulder a few too many times.

Of course eventually you’d start to notice his behavior but wouldn’t think much of it at first because people stare for all kinds of reasons: maybe he doesn’t like you, thinks your hair looks funny or he just wants to make sure a medic is close by. And it isn’t like he is hurting anyone with his staring problem. Until someone does get hurt.

And that person happens to be himself. It‘s during another practice mission and Babe is again somewhat distracted by your presence and that‘s when it happens: Liebgott accidentally sets off one of his grenades and yells for the guys to take cover but Babe is too in his head and hears the warning a little too late, which leads to him crashing into a nearby tree from the force of the explosion. You quickly run over and check for any injuries but luckily find none. Still you decide it would be better if you take him to the hospital so they could check if he has a concussion.

You stay with him through all the tests the doctors make him do and hold his hand whenever it‘s possible and it‘s at that moment that Babe realizes that he is in fact in love with you.

This is when the real flirting starts. And boy did his mother raise him right because he is just the biggest gentleman in this world. He begins complimenting you every chance he gets and pointing out all the little details about you he thinks are beautiful (which are a lot). From how your hair looks after you’ve taken off your helmet, to the way you laugh at one of his jokes. He notices everything and he’s not too shy to let you know how much he adores all these little quirks.

He somehow also manages to be around you constantly, seemingly appearing out of thin air just to hold the door for you or help you carry medical supplies around.

Yet he doesn’t confess to you directly, too afraid you might not return his affection.

However, that all changes one evening, when all of Easy decide to visit the local pub and somehow manage to convince you and Roe to join them.

Babe is thrilled of course and, after a bit of convincing from Bill, asks you for a dance. You of course accept his offer and even let him buy you a drink afterwards.The following conversation is however cut short when the other guys ask him to join them for a game of darts, which he does but not without promising to be back soon.

That is when another paratrooper from Dog Company decides it‘s his turn to spend some time with you. And while normally you don’t mind the soldiers from other companies, this guy is definitely wasted and way too touchy for your liking. You try telling him to leave you alone but he doesn’t listen. So as you’re looking around the bar for someone to help you out of this situation you meet Babe’s eyes and he springs into action.

He quickly makes his way over to you and not so kindly informs the other guy to take his hands off you or he would be leaving the pub on a stretcher. Luckily the soldier doesn't want any trouble with another paratrooper and just goes back to his table but not before mumbling to himself that you were „ugly anyways“ which forces you to drag Babe outside for some air before he can start a fight.

That is where the actual confession happens and it would probably be a mix of Babe insulting the guy and him telling you how much he cares for you: “What was that guy thinking? I mean first he’s touching you and acting like a fucking idiot and then someone tells him to stop being a creep he says you’re ugly?! Just because he got rejected! That guy really needs to work on his behavior because that was pathetic! And I mean you? Ugly? No, no, no, no, no! You are the most gorgeous person I have ever seen in my life, I mean I couldn’t stop staring at you since the moment I first saw you. Did it so much I almost got blown up. Well you probably remember that I mean you were there after all. And you are so kind, way too kind for this world in fact, sitting with me in that hospital and holding my hand and all that. I mean, Jesus, I love you so much it almost hurts and that guy thinks he can just treat you like that.“

That is when you stop him and ask if you heard that right and he starts to realize what he just said and probably starts blushing and fumbling with his words. He tries to tell you that he’s sorry and he shouldn’t have said that and that it‘s okay if you don’t feel the same, but then you just grab his collar and press your lips to his and Babe is in heaven.

After you separate he is stunned and asks if that means you like him back which makes you laugh and then you tell him that, yes you do like him back. So now Babe is a little mad at himself he hasn’t told you earlier but he’s also more than happy that he gets to be with you now.

He then walks you back to the house you’re staying at and asks you out on a proper first date before kissing you goodbye.

Now the second scenario is if you meet after Batsogne. In that case Babe would be more reserved and less flirtatious, and his confession would also take a while but not due to lack of courage but because he’s afraid to lose you.

You would be a new medic assigned to Easy Company as a replacement and arrive with Webster.

Speirs then tells you to go to 2nd Platoon with Web because they still have some space in the house they’re occupying and to go find Roe and the other medics after.

Once you make it to 2nd Platoon the guys are very hostile towards you, which is amplified by Webster telling them about the patrol. They don’t trust you at first because in their eyes you're just another newbie who doesn’t know what they’re doing and will probably get someone killed instead of saving them.

Babe is part of this and doesn’t really acknowledge you at first because after losing so many of his friends he won’t bother learning your, or any replacement’s, name because he’s sure you’re going to be dead soon anyway.

When you come back after connecting with the other medics it’s just before the patrol and it's almost as if you can feel the tension. You wish all of them good luck but only get a few rolled eyes and one mumbled “thank you“ from Web in return.

And then everything escalates. You‘ve just fallen asleep when someone comes barging into the room and is yelling that someone got hurt and they need a medic. Luckily your body is faster than your mind and before you know it you’ve grabbed your supplies and are on your way to try and help whoever got hit.

When you arrive it‘s chaos. People are screaming, someone is trying to kill two Germans that are in the back of the room and Jackson is on a table covered in blood, with Roe leaning over him trying to assess the situation. But you can tell that Jackson is making that difficult because he keeps moving around, so you take the initiative and make your way past everyone that’s staring and grab a hold of Jackson’s head. He keeps looking around in panic and wants to move but you keep him in place and put pressure on the wound you see on his neck. But when you look up at Eugene you can tell by his look that he’s not going to make it, still you put him on a stretcher and try to move him out to the aid station. That’s when Jackson starts repeating over and over that he doesn’t want to die and that he’s scared so you and Eugene decide to put him down and just calm him. You again take his head in your hands but now instead of gripping it tightly you slightly move your fingers through his hair and over his cheeks wiping away the tears. You tell him it's going to be okay and to just hang in there until you feel his heart stop and he lets out his last shaky breath.

Babe had observed the whole thing and after seeing the way you tried to save Jackson and calmed him in his final moments he’s pretty sure you’re an angel. And this marks the start of the very long process of getting Babe to admit to himself and you that he has feelings for you.

Because those feelings quite frankly scare him and if he doesn’t tell you about them he can pretend they don’t exist. However it is somewhat noticeable, due to his behavior, that he is fond of you. He always tries to sit next to you, initiates conversations with you about whatever topic and seeks you out for the tiniest injuries, such as a little scratch on his hand he got while trying to befriend a stray cat.

You two develop a very close friendship but actually everyone knows there’s more to it. And during the time between Hagenau and Zell am See there is a very active betting pool on when you two will get together.

Even after you two become friends Babe is somehow still in denial about his feelings and only fully accepts them after a conversation with you in Austria, just after finding out Easy will be going to the Pacific.

He is talking to you about being nervous to go and lose more of his friends but being glad that at least you’ll be with him, when you inform him that you in fact won’t be. Just a couple of hours before, you had been told by Winters that you will be sent back to England to take care of the wounded there. Apparently they didn’t want a medic with practically no real combat experience, aside from Jackson, to go to the Pacific and maybe do more harm than good, so since they were short on medical staff in the hospitals anyway that’s where you’d go.

After that revelation Babe forgets to breathe for a few seconds, because what do you mean you’re not coming? He can’t do this without you by his side. In fact now that he’s thinking of it he can’t imagine anything in his life without you there. And that’s when it hits him that he actually loves you.

But now he’s stuck in a dilemma, because on one hand he doesn't want to risk never being able to tell you how much he loves you and on the other hand he doesn’t want to burden you with the knowledge of his feelings, disappear to the Pacific and maybe never come back.

But then they don’t go to the Pacific and all of Easy is standing on that baseball field when Winter tells them the war is over. Really over. And the first thing he does is run over to you and send you to the ground with the force of his hug. Then, as you are both lying on the ground, is when he kisses you for the first time and it’s the happiest he’s been in years and lucky for him you reciprocate the kiss with just as much enthusiasm.

When you separate you look a little surprised but the it all comes spilling out of him (yes while you’re both still lying on the ground): “You know I’ve been wanting to tell you since forever but I like you so much, and not in a ‘friend’ way more in a ‘you’re the love of my life’ way you know. And really I have been wanting to tell you but then you told me you weren’t coming to the Pacific and I didn’t want to leave you alone with this, knowing I might not return but now…“

He looks at your face searching for a reaction and you just start smiling like you just won the lottery and pull him in for another kiss. It’s only then you hear the others cheering for you, and Babe quickly hides his face in your neck so they can’t see how flushed he is.

Later he officially asks you out and after a couple of dates you two are an actual couple and he’s already thinking about how he can move you to Philadelphia with him.

Update about this blog:

So my last post was literally over a year ago but I’m coming back to this page because I have a lot more free time now. And I do actually want to continue writing but I’ve realized that the fandoms I used to write for are not really what I’m into anymore: so I decided I will restart this whole blog but I won’t delete my old writings (in case anyone actually liked them)

What happens now:

I’m gonna release updated request guidelines with all the fandoms I write for + rules

Most requests that are currently in my inbox will likely not get published unless I feel very motivated to write for a fandom I’m not really part of anymore

Everyone who wants can now request something from my new list of fandoms but it might take a while until the requests get fulfilled because I’m slow af

It had been 3 weeks since you joined the straw hat pirates on their journey to find the one piece. You hadn’t needed much convincing to leave the island, you had called your home for all theses years, since you knew there wasn’t much left there that would hold you back.

Life with the crew was great. You got along with everyone but a certain cook was your favorite. Since the island you grew up and lived on until now had been pretty small you hadn’t had the privilege of trying a bigger variety of different foods. Options had always been limited since there weren’t too many plants that grew on the island so you always had to stick to the few meals you could make and liked. But that changed when you joined the straw hats. Sure since you lived on a boat there were also limited supplies but Sanji was a magician in the kitchen. You could give him the same ingredients day after day and he’d still come up with a new meal each day and none of them disappointed. Every dish was like a symphony.

Today Sanji had again impressed everyone with a new creation of his and when you volunteered to help him with the dishes you wanted to take the time to express your appreciation for his skills. “Sanji?” You were standing next to each other at the sink. “Yes sweetheart?” Your heart beat a little faster at the nickname. “I just wanted to tell you I really appreciate your cooking and today's meal was perfect as always”, you looked over to him to see a smile spread on his face. “Well thank you very much for the compliment. I noticed you’re always the most eager to try my new creations, well besides Luffy but he eats anything that doesn’t run away fast enough. Have you always liked trying new stuff?” He chuckled, now meeting your eyes. “Hm. I don’t know. Maybe I would have liked it if I had had the chance. But maybe you remember my island. It’s really small so we didn’t have a huge variety of food and I’m not as talented as you so I pretty much ate the same things every week. Gets kind of boring after a while. Which is why I really love having you here so I can try new things every day!” You smiled at him and you could swear there was a light blush covering his cheeks. “I’m glad you like it and you know if you ever have anything you want to try just tell me and I’ll make it for you sweetheart”, he said while focusing back on the dishes. “Wait really? You’re the best Sanji!” Before you could really process what you were doing you wrapped your arms around his torso and gave him a hug. For a moment Sanji seemed frozen but then his arms also slowly wrapped around you. “Anything for you”, he said, softly smiling down on you. You stayed like this for a while until you had to get back to the dishes and you began wondering if you only cared for the food or if maybe you also really liked its creator. You could help the smile that spread on your face. This was going to be an interesting adventure.

It was cold. You were not made for these mountains. How the Jabari were able to live here and not freeze to death was a mystery to you. But you were aware that after Namor’s attack on Wakanda this was the only safe spot for the people. You wished you could have stayed by Shuris side as she worked in her lab, but Okoye was right, you were needed here. But it still felt wrong to leave your girlfriend alone in her grief, as it had consumed her the last time and she almost became unrecognizable.

The council was currently discussing what Wakandas next move should be. You were standing on the side and observing the conversation. Some members of the council were pushing for a peaceful solution, while others wanted to go to war. For you the only thing that mattered was the safety of the people of Wakanda, wether that would’ve achieved via negotiations or war. Yet your opinion mattered little here. Just as the discussion was about to escalate you heard the familiar sound of wakandas jets. Everyone looked up and saw something, no someone, falling through the hole in the cave. The person performed multiple twists in the air and landed in the snow with the elegance of a panther. Everyone was frozen in shock and happiness, because they knew now there was hope. The black panther had returned and the person carrying on this legacy was no one less but the queen of Wakanda and your girlfriend, Shuri. The suit resembled the other ones you had seen, worn by her brother and cousin. Yet this one was unmistakably Shuri‘s. From the dots on the mask to the golden details on the body suit, it all represented her. You couldn’t stop staring. You’re girlfriend was always beautiful, but this new look brought out all her best features and you were starting to feel a bit warm in the snowy mountains of Jabari Land. Shuri took of her mask to address the council and now it was impossible for you to look away. Her eyes were full of rage and determination and everyone in the room could feel the power her presence radiated. Your eyes met and you could see that her gaze softened for a brief second, so short one might have missed it. Her focus went back to the council and she told them of her plan, which was met with both agreement and dissatisfaction. When the discussion started to become heated again, Shuri ordered everyone to leave the room except for M’Baku as she wanted to speak to him privately.

You waited outside the cave for the two to finish their discussion. When Shuri finally stepped out you couldn’t help the smile that came to your face. „I missed you!“, you said walking over to her and embracing her in a tight hug. She pulled you deeper into the hug and rested her chin on top of your head. You stayed like this for a couple of minutes until Shuri let go and tilted up your chin to make you look into her eyes. You felt your face getting hot as you now became aware of Shuri‘s new look again, and by the grin on her face she seemed to have noticed. Her next question confirmed your suspicions: „So, you like the suit?“. You swallowed and were only able to respond with a quick nod. Shuri burst into laughter and pressed a kiss to your forehead. „If I had known that all I had to do to get you flustered is wear a suit like this, I would have done it sooner.“ You couldn’t help but laugh with her and say: „Well I can’t help it you look really hot. And that look in your eyes is not helping either!“ She laughed again and took your hands on hers. Her gaze was now no longer playful, but soft and a bit serious. „You know I really love you, right? No matter how bad the world seems, the moment I see your face, all my troubles seem to disappear“, and with that she pressed a sweet and gentle kiss to your lips. „I know Shuri. And I love you too, so, so much!“ The princess smiled and you both knew in that moment, whatever would happen in the next few days you two would always find each other, no matter how hard that would be.

Surprise at training

It was 4am when you woke up. Not by choice of course. The reason for you to be up at this ungodly hour was nobody less than the Winter Soldier. You had asked him for trading advice a while back and now he had taken it upon himself to throw you out of bed at times where the average person was asleep.

So regarding your situation you were relatively grumpy. And the best part was that he didn’t even stay to train with you but rather went on his morning jog and forced you to do stupid exercises. You knew that shadow boxing might make sense to get a hang of new movements and correct mistakes more easily. But after doing it for one week straight you got bored. You wanted to use the new techniques on an actual person but Bucky wasn’t there and waking up someone else would only get you an annoyed teammate. So with your headphones on and your mind entirely elsewhere you started doing your exercise. Your surroundings began to fade as you got lost in thought. It was like your body was on autopilot and you didn’t need to think about the next movement, your body just did it.

You probably would have heard him if you hadn’t put on headphones. Or maybe even then you might have been to lost in thought to notice the figure approaching you.

Suddenly large hands picked you up by your waist and you let out a surprised scream, too shocked to move for a moment. When the initial moment of surprise was over, you were about to strike the person so you could escape and wake the others, just then the person holding you let out a chuckle and you realized. Your body relaxed and you looked down at their hands, which were in fact blue, proving your assumption. Your oversized, blue boyfriend had decided to visit and scare the hell out of you. “Well hello to you too”, you stated grumpily but still not being able to hide your smile. “And here I thought you would be happy to see me”, Attuma laughed and finally set you back in the ground. “I would have been a lot more happy if you hadn’t scared the crap out of me”, you shook your head still grinning. “I was in the area and wanted to see if my favorite warrior might want to spar with me and since you’re already practicing these new moves why not try them with me?” “Sure why not. My so called ‘teacher’ hasn’t really bothered with letting me practice with an actual person so let’s do it!” Attuma grinned and got into position across from you while you also got ready to finally put your training to use.

It took about 6 rounds and 45 minutes for you to finally be able get the upper hand and win against Attuma. His strength and height made it really hard for you to land a blow and your limited training with actual people for your new moves made it extra hard. But in round 7 you finally won.

You had Attuma below you, his hands pinned to the floor with you sitting on top of him. You moved to get up but suddenly your boyfriend grabbed your waist and flipped you over so you were beneath his massive form. He grinned down at you and moved a strand of hair out of your face. He removed the mask on his face which usually made him feel a little dizzy but still being able to breathe with the masks on his gills. Setting the mask down next to you, he leaned back in and suddenly his lips were on yours. Your lips moved in sync, by now you were sitting on his lap with his hands on your waist. Your hands were tangled in his hair and you only took brakes once you needed to breathe. You couldn’t tell how much time was passing, all your mind could register were his lips on yours and his hands that were rubbing soft circles on your waist. It was like the world outside didn’t exist anymore. There were just the two of you in your own world completely in peace. Or so you thought.

“You know this isn’t what I had in mind when I said you should practice” You separated from Attuma and clumsily stood up to be met with Bucky leaning on the door frame. He gave you another look and then turned around quietly laughing to himself. Meanwhile Attuma had already put on his mask again and now put his arm over your shoulder. “I mean try to see it positively. A bit later and he would have seen something a lot worse”, he laughed at his own joke and you smacked his shoulder for it, but not without laughing along.
