Day at High School

Have you ever wondered what other high schools are life? If there’s any similarities to different schools, like the drama, classes, sports, etc?

     In this post I’ll be writing about my regular day in school. I am going to start when I get to school because I might do a morning routine later on in this blog. So, I arrived at school at 7:52 am, school starts at 8:05. At 8:03 I went to my grade meeting. The teachers talked about reminders and all that shit. 

     After, I went to my first class: English. We’re reading short stories right now about heroes and tricksters. Oh, and our homework is to watch Pirates of the Caribbean. I am a pretty introverted person (unless you get to know me), so as usual, I was quiet. Had a math quiz right after...not fun. I’m learning geometry now and we’re doing this thing that we teach ourselves. So technically, we try to solve it and the teacher listens and gives feedback. I hated it at first but now I don’t mind it as much. 

     I spent break at the library doing some work that I just want to finish. I usually like it better in the library because I get to do my stuff without any annoying ass distractions. I had PHYSICS right after. I am not a huge fan tbh. It’s a struggle. We threw an egg at a sheet, and we learned about momentum and impulse, that’s about it. I don’t really understand why we’re taking physics in the first year of high school. I had a free next. i worked furiously on history homework that I totally forgot to do. Whoops. I kinda half assed it cause it was due next period.

     Yeah, my teacher didn’t check the homework, we didn’t even discuss it. And we have a quiz tomorrow on it. Our class is discussing absolute monarchs like Louis XIV. Now, finally, one of my favorite classes: art. I love art class cause it’s so chill. We just talk, listen to music, and do our project. Right now, our project is to sketch animals and human figures. Surprisingly, I’m not absolutely horrible at it.

      Lunch was next. Not much to it I guess. I talked to my friend that just moved to Cali on the phone. Oh, and I didn’t mention yet, semi is coming up. I obviously don’t have a date. I didn’t expect to. I brought this up cause someone got asked to semi today with a sign (with a pun) and flowers (how original). I don’t know. I’m not jealous but people in my grade are making the biggest deal out of it. Literally it’s all anyone talked about for the past month and a half. Besides that lunch was on the calm side which is unusual because most of the time you hear screaming for no reason. At first it was like “what’s going on”, then it turned to “yep, those people are in my grade”. Last period of the day, finally. I had pe. We played floor hockey in which I got hit by the ball on my butt. After school I had volleyball. Today was pretty chill. We played serving games and we scrimmaged which is helpful because we have a game tomorrow.

How to be a GLOWING badass QUEEN

Have combination skin? Wondering how to keep your skin clear?

**Disclaimer** This will not work for everyone. Everybody’s different.

I have combination skin. Some parts of my face is dry, others are oily. It’s absolutely disgusting and confusing. I started out with just washing my face with water. It might sound stupid but it worked for a while. Then I started getting bumps on my face. Not cute. I was always scared of putting stuff on my face, but I decided it was time I do something. I started out with spraying a toner from Lush everyday. Later, I turned to moisturizer. I used the Laneige Water Bank Cream. It worked great, but I still got frequent bumps. Recently I find out about SKII. I started creating my own skincare routine and my skin has never been better.

I always start off with a clean palette by washing my face.

Only in the morning I start of with Neutrogena’s Day Cream (includes spf)

I place the Facial Treatment Essence (skII) around my chin, jaw, and T zone.

I then place the Facial Treatment Clear Lotion on all parts of my face.

I use the Laneige Water Mask only in the night and you keep it on until the next morning

I then spray Mario Badescu’s Rose Water and Evian Water spray on my face

My number one rule, especially if you have acne or pimples, is to NOT TOUCH IT! I cannot emphasis this enough. During the day your hands become dirty and oily from everything you’ve touched. I only touch my face if I have to clean it. So you don’t have to use the exact products I use. If you were to take anything from this, it is to get a skincare routine, stick with it, and DON’T TOUCH YOUR FACE! Bye my badass besties!
