The Interstate Obscenities Definition Act

It looks like The Interstate Obscenities Definition act (IODA) will be presented to a senate committee tomorrow. I'm not sure if this is a hearing or meeting or just formal procedure when introducing bills. Regardless, if you haven't already started adding this to your call rotation, please start now. This bill has been introduced twice before with no traction, but at a time where censorship laws are on the rise this is not a bill to sleep on, even if it has a low chance of passing. This bill would ban pornographic material, but it is written so vaguely that it would also target books, television, movies, video games, and the LGBTQ+ community as a whole. When Trump's FTC director has publicly said he wants to go after the "trans agenda" this is not the bill we should let slip by, so CALL YOUR REPS! I'll link to some resources below:

Fantasy au I choose you!

This takes place in a medieval setting with magic n stuff. Just so you know

Captain Rocket (nicknamed Seagull) - a very sneaky and really cocky pirate sailing the seas of the Inpherno. Lost an arm and a leg after getting promptly chased out of Playground for stealing a sacred artifact from Windforce, now has a hook and a peg as replacements. Gathered a crew consisting of his adoptive father, what looks like some sorta demon and a demideity, but eventually lost his ship, his father retired and the demon healer vanished to figure out his own story. Long out of his glory days and travelling with a team of misfits to try and rebalance the Inpherno(he's only here for the money and the funny)

Sunburst Sword, Son of Venomshank - secluded demideity who lived most of his life on the heights of the SFOTH, training with his father. After turning 20, he was set free to explore the word and make a name for himself, write his ballade of glory and cascade. He was stuck with a Captain, who tricked him to join his quite small crew(similar to a pesky fey) until recently, when he is now stuck with an even more absurd group, though for a reason, finding his uncle. Pretty serious a lot of the time, but becomes caring and somewhat soft when loosened up, like a controlled, warm campfire keeping you safe, hopeful and alive.

Egobworder, rarely reffered to by his birth name: Skateboard - assassin and messenger of Windforce. Respected paladin in Playground using the magic given by his patron to glide through the air on his gear disguised as a spear. Has delivered messages to other factions and kingdoms for a long time ever since he was 16, traveling through the harshest of storms and terrains. Though, with the recent disappearance of sir Firebrand, he was tasked on the behalf of his patron to find him, being given complete freedom as long as the deity is retrieved. Secretive and pretty laid-back, has a lot of contacts because he's been in so many places.

"Eggsquerade", aka Boombox - known bard travelling through taverns and palaces to perform and share his passion for music. A lot of his songs have deeper meaning hidden beneath the joyful, loud surface. Has also served as a butler, a war musician, a merchant, and every other job you could think of he's got a wild story with it. Crawled out of poor regions in Playground and survived off of tips and paychecks for most of his life. Chill and generally doesn't have enemies unless you've done something VILE. Now with a pretty absurd group of people in retrospect, but that's another thing to write a song about! Keeps everyone sane, somewhat hopeful and entertained.

Coil V0.2.0 - a sentient golem of steel, crystals and courage, created by an unknown alchemist, this robot has gained sentience. He was used in gladiator championships for many, many years, before getting rusted and tossed out into the forest to be on his own. Was saved by a paladin and a bard, who he still owes his life to this day. Regular Coil personality, but just. A bit traumatized. Here because his friends are here and because he wants to see the world after being confined to one arena for so long.

Slingshot of the Kercet(another way to write Cursed lol) dynasty - pharaoh of a cursed region in Lost Temple. Has ancestors in Thieve's Den and Playground. He has never seen what the outside world looks like, being a fairly young ruler. 3 generations back, this kingdom was cursed by Firebrand and doomed to death by the scorching sun. The people have found safety and hope beneath the surface of the desert. Wouldn't trade his people for anything, but has left on a crusade with his most trusted bodyguard, advisor and good friend in hopes to gain forgiveness from the deity and free his people from the arid prison they're trapped in. The royal dynasty was also cursed, though the conditions of that are unknown, as he is covered in fabrics and bandages akin to a mummy(they were cursed to burn eternally from the outside in and generally die before reaching 35)

Shuri-Long - Eastern Dragonborn from northern Thieve's Den, born high up on the cliffs and the mountains. Was a mercenary at large over 200 years ago, but was hired by the pharaoh back then and was trapped underground for a long, long time. Has seen generations of people be born and die due to dragonborn having incredibly long lifespans, but has gotten.. incredibly attached to the current pharaoh, since the man has been interested and always wanted to grab the attention of the dragon ever since the former was a child. Generally rude and slightly egoistic, maybe greedy, but just doesn't want to lose something he loves ever again. People are temporary, but objects are near eternal. Has been taken on a crusade by his royal friend and now traveling with a bunch of inphernals. His one wish would be money and for his sister to be freed from her wooden cuffs. And maybe, just maybe, to give years from his lifespan to Slingshot.

Sianach, known a long, long time ago as Medkit - previously an inphernal, tinkering with magic, madness and alchemy with a.. Former friend. Though, was, unfortunately cursed by a trickster deity(Darkheart you stupid dum) to be eternally roaming the earth as a demon, a memory, a reminder of what NOT to do when you encounter a deity. Has been roaming for several centuries now, looking for the one who caused this all, the one who summoned the deity and the one who made him bargain with it, but forgot his name. Js normal Medkit but a little uncanny(and a bit more insane). He's experienced extreme memory loss, so much so he frickin forgot who he even conducted the experiments with(loser)

Subspace, the exorcist - demon in disguise, he's also been cursed by Darkheart, but hides it better, living for hundreds of years amongst inphernals and changing identities and places of living every now and then. Has worked as an exorcist(ironic, right?) and got rid of demons and spirits in people's houses by communicating and maybe bribing them. Conducted alchemy experiments a long time ago, and has created. A thing. He gave that thing to Windforce

Banhammer - a freak of nature created through alchemy, a Frankenstein monster created by Subspace lots of years ago. Practically immortal and was raised by Windforce as a son. He is the one bringing divine judgement and divine justice to inphernals and other magical beings alike. Generally blunt, doesn't know much about his original creator and doesn't want to.

Scythe, The Deathbringer - reaper and mercenary for The Church of The True Eye, bringing death and desolation wherever she goes. A spirit, a manifestation of bloodlust and hatred who rejected her initial creator to gain a body of flesh and bone and to devote her time to the church. She's kinda just possessing this body, it's rotting. Very manipulative, kind of a trickster.

Hyperlaser, saint of the sinners - an angel, a many-eyed saint coming from the Ghostwalker to guide mortals through death. Has been around for a WHILE, and has built stories around himself, became a figment of inphernal folklore. Feeds on souls of mortals, whether it be animals or sentient creatures. A creature quite benevolent, but also vicious to those who try to trick death and escape their eventual, eternal demise.

Katana - I thought it'd be funny if I didn't change his lore. He's still an inphernal(well maybe I'll make him a shapeshifter or something), still a samurai, but now his drinking buddy is this many eyed creature. The first time he saw Hyper he thought he was hallucinating.

Vinestaff - a cursed dragonborn living in the high tops of the mountains in Thieve's Den, spending her days nurturing the garden she has raised up here. It has an array of flowers and plants from all across the Inpherno, and it has harbored thousands of insects and reptiles. The center pond is pure and filled with fish and amphibians. Her garden of wonders sits undisturbed as she spends her last years here, getting slowly paralysed and taken over by a tree, waiting for her brother to come back from his mission, or to at least answer her letters. A letter from Shuri would be enough for her to pass peacefully.

Steampunk - local blacksmith and mechanic, former gladiator taken from his home to fight, hack and slash. Proficient with a wide array of weapons, the most efficient being his gear- the gauntlet. A being of pure fire and molten metal in ironclad armor and a welder mask, the one goal of his life is to create the most glorious weapon of all. When it is created, the fire in him will burn down all the metal in him, and only the greatest sword ever created will be left. His last and greatest creation.

basically someone called metal the most mature generation of beyblade because its darker and people get injured in battle

meanwhile in beyblade x we have: a girl who has to deal with losing to her sister 10,000 times and having that sister reject her bey that she made for her, a guy who had an emotional break down at the loss of his best friend who he treasured dearly, and the "if you lose at beyblade, will you die?" scene in episode 83 that manages to comment on how desire to win can be bad for your mental state, and how you should do things because you enjoy them not to win, or because you have to

beyblade x actually has mature themes, things that both kids and adults can relate to and understand, that's real emotional maturity, much more than "i beat you at beyblade now you die"
