New work is up, and this one is pretty different from what you might be used to, from me.

But, I adore Bloodborne, and recently had the urge to play it again, so complementary fic.

The rest if the chapters should be from Jazz's POV, as she goes through Yharnam and finds friends and family amidst it's last few sane civilians and the Hunters that still find a purpose in The Hunt.

(I'm also debating if Irreverent Izzie should meet Danny in the Isz Chalice Dungeon or not.)

It would absolutely do a worse job than any human person.

And I enjoy writing, no way am I letting fucking AI do it for me.

correctly tagging your fic allows readers who DON’T want to read things like major character death, gore, mpreg or whatever may be their squick to filter your fic out from the main ship/fandom tag. not including the correct tags on your fic is harmful to readers and i’m tired of pretending it’s not.

@playedcrowd5610 don't listen to idiots and fools like this, your stories are delightful and wonderful, and they always make my day when I get that email notification telling me your AO3 stories updated.

Write whatever you want, whenever you want. You make delightful stories, and I will always be happy to read more from you, be it new chapters, or entirely new AUs ❤

Honestly, you need to stop writing new stories and finish your old ones! I used to really like your work, but you never finish half of your stuff and just get distracted and move on to the next thing. If you are going to post anything at all, you should at least finish it.

I'm sorry! I understand that I have a couple of unfinished works, and I definitely intend to finish them! Lots of them really mean a lot to me! But I hope you understand that when I get stuck on writer's block on one story, that doesn't mean I get stuck on all of them. And writing something else can sometimes help.

I have so many ideas that I want to share! And I really do want to finish all of them. But sometimes, I get distracted by newer concepts and hyper-fixate on them. But I never intended to make people feel upset by leaving them unfinished.

I even have a few works that I haven't posted at all, ones that have almost 10-20k words in them. But I keep them in my drafts because I know I don't have an ending planned, and I don't want to post it knowing I'll leave it unfinished.

I have also been really focused on my Haunting the Nemesis series. it is one of my fav projects, which I have put hundreds of hours of effort into. But because of that, I don't always have the spare moments to go back and update a bunch of chapters for fics like "A Little Overshadowing" and "Joint Custody."

I will try and update "A Little Overshadowing" as soon as possible, though. I am aware of how huge it is to the fandom and how so many people are waiting for an update. I just haven't had the spare energy yet! I promise to try and sit down and write a new chapter for it as soon as possible.

Again, I am so sorry! I understand as much as the next reader how it can be upsetting to not have a finished work. But I hope I have posted enough content for each fic to make it worth the read in the meantime.

hello! my name's taylor, and i'm a senior soon to be finishing my undergraduate degree in english & creative writing. last semester (because i hate myself), i decided i just had to graduate with honors. that means, this semester, i'm completing an independent honors study. what beautifully linguistic academic topic have i chosen for this project, you ask?

danny phantom. i sent in a request to do an honors study on danny phantom. more specifically, to "examine the impact of fan communities via interviews with popular fanfiction authors within the danny phantom fandom..." to be honest, i didn't think it'd even get approved. like, it had to go through the chair of the english department?? …and yet, here we are.

my job, now, is to choose popular authors to reach out to for a potential interview, but i worry that the way i lean toward the horror subgenre of dp fanfic may be a misrepresentation of what "popular" means now, meant a decade ago, even meant at the inception of the phandom, when we primarily ran on long-gone forums.

therefore, i'm asking YOU what your favorite danny phantom fanfictions are! long, short, crossovers, aus—send me the fanficiton that got you into the fandom, whose trope you've seen copied time and time again, whose plot had you laying awake at night (or straight up skipping school, like i used to do in highschool...oops).
