Khan walks out the door leaving Nori standing in the middle of the living room alone. She suddenly puts her face up against a door with a balled up fist

Nori: "so! thought you could steal MY man while I was away huh!? when are you gonna learn!!! NO DOOR!! Is gonna take MY MAN away from me. I bet those hinges aren't even real!! you f-"

Uzi: ".....mom?"

Nori suddenly turns around clearly embarrassed

Nori: OH HEEEEYYYYYY.....how long have you been home?"

Uzi: "....are you...beefing with a literal door?"

Nori: "SHE'S A FUCKING SNAKE TRYING TO STEAL MY MAN!"

Meet the Skritia evolution line!

Skritia and Alpuria are grass types, and Valpina is a grass/fire type :) They’re based on Red Ginger (Alpina Purpurata) and other plants around Hawii!

I’ve been creating random joke drawings of murder drones for a while now (so there are inconsistencies) and I’m finally posting them

There’s a likely chance I’ll do more at some point

Ok y’all, I’m confused.

Tessa. IS SHE ALIVE? I’m not even talking about after episode 8 that might be a whole different thing, but before the finale. Because THIS?

This is not Cyn. At least, I really don’t think it is. Her voice and mannerisms are so different and even though Cyn’s character synopsis literally says she likes doing human mimicry, I don’t think it’s even possible to do it to that extent. Especially with the body she has- which I believe is basically her drone body merged with Tessa’s body? (Again, whole different convo lol) During episodes 6 and 7 when “Tessa” is working with the gang, she very clearly moves and talks quite differently from how Cyn does.

I need to rewatch episode 7 again but I belive even though by the end she’s not exactly on their side she still has a different goal than Cyn. She is trying to kill all the drones infected with the solver, right? While Cyn would rather them stay alive because she can use them.

So, are there two people in control of Tessa’s body in these episodes? Does she still have a consciousness, and Cyn just takes her over at the end just like she does with Uzi? Or is it really Cyn the whole time just playing a very long game?

Or, a secret third option? I’ve been operating under the assumption that Tessa was killed either during the gala or the downfall of Earth. But did she survive, and actually come to Copper 9 by choice? Maybe it actually was her, and she didn’t lie about her reasons for being there. So it was Tessa- just regular Tessa- throughout episodes 6 and 7.

In this scenario, Cyn wouldn’t have had that body until N decapitated Tessa. Then, once Uzi got control of herself again after that battle, she took over the only available body left: Tessa’s.

There’s like a 50/50 chance that this logic works out. Because on one hand, it would explain why Tessa seemed so normal (more or less) before the end of episode 7. And to back it up, Tessa is very excited to see N in episode 6, and comments on how tall he is now- a small unnecessary detail if it were actually Cyn, because Cyn made him a disassembly drone (height and all.) Additionally in this scene she gets too excited and has to cough a bit and breathe slower because the air is toxic. I’m not sure how the drones work exactly, but they don’t have to breathe- or at least they are able to breathe the toxic air on Copper 9, unlike humans.

On the other hand, J. She knows the whole time that she’s working for Cyn. Even though Cyn did trick her somehow, at least by episode 7 she knows. And Tessa even says to her, “Mind my ship. Cyn’s orders.” Unless I heard it wrong, that one line kind of debunks my previous theory. And the ominous mystery around Tessa right up until she’s revealed to be Cyn, especially with her not showing her face and when she has to scan her finger it ONLY shows her finger.

So long story short I have no clue whats going on here and I’d love to hear other peoples theories on it! Or maybe there’s a canon solution I just haven’t figured out yet lol, anywho let me know what you think :3

All I’m getting from this is that they get stuck on blankets or clothing like cats and then freak out thinking they’re being attacked

Solver drones headcannon

Solver drones have a longer than average thumb claw on both hands. It’s thick, curved, strong, and has a serrated under side.

This claw is used for gripping, holding, and trapping. In crawling or climbing cases it’s handy to use the claw, making it easier to scale objects.

In terms of hunting the claw is used to trap and hold prey. The serrations face towards the body making it more difficult for prey to pull away. This ability also makes it difficult for the solver drone to release so if they get ahold of prey that fights back more than they are willing to deal with or the prey is much too big to be brought down they struggle to detach from that prey. This can result in the solver drone getting hurt or dragged by their own prey

The claw isn’t crazy long but it is noticeably longer than the claws on the other fingers

Here’s my take on it :3

I assume they feel “hungry” if they don’t eat for a while, or if they see/smell (can they smell?) oil. If they ignore it though then they start overheating and getting uncomfortable, and the hunger starts getting harder to resist. Maybe their senses get sharper and they start either smelling the oil in other drones or simply seeing other drones as food and it gets way harder to resist.

If they ignore it for long enough their systems completely take over and they go on a bit of a killing spree like Uzi did until they are fully satisfied and no longer in danger of overheating, then they kinda reboot and get control of themselves again

To keep this from happening inside the colony, maybe Uzi, V, and N take regular trips out into the forest or wherever and find scraps or remains from past hunts/corpses from back when the DDs had a quota and had more than enough kills to satisfy their hunger.

They probably have oil stashed places too in case they start to overheat and need to prevent a mass murder. And while it’s not ideal, they can probably survive on those little bugs and other small mechanical creatures other than drones.

So…..do the solver and DD’s have like?….hunger pangs? Or do they just feel thirsty when it’s time to feed.

Or!

Do they just start to feel more aggressive and like they NEED to bite something and the feeling becomes stronger and stronger until they can’t take it anymore

You read the title, ROLL THE ANIMAL PLANET MUSIC-

Ahem, when a disassembly drone decides that they want to obtain a partner, they must prepare for the most spectacular show you have ever seen- with steps of course…

Step 1: Creating a display

Every great performance must have a stage to use, after all, what good is an amazing show without the looks to go with it? The disassembly will first fly around to find a wide open area to create their stage or “display”. The display that disassemblys make are usually large circles that are made out of old workers, oil, and many reflective materials. The disassemblys usually take workers that are the most chopped up and are still slightly filled with oil, they also take any excess oil they find to make the outline of the circle-like formation. The reason they do this is to prove to other drones that they are such effective hunters, they can allow quite a bit of oil to go to waste. The more oil; the better the hunter, which in turn leads to the higher likelihood of finding a partner.

Oh, well look at that- it seems a poor, little, drone has stumbled into this lovely display. It is time to impress. 

Step 2: Impress 

First impressions are always very important when it comes to anything, especially when trying to obtain a partner. Disassemblys will often first bring out their wings as high up as they can and begin to rattle the wing blades. They will try their best to look as presentable as possible by standing up tall, puffing their chest, hands behind their backs, etc…

If the drone has surprisingly stayed through to pre-show, then it’s on to the real performance.

Step 3: The Dance

Every disassembly’s dance is unique in its own way, but they do usually have certain things in common such as: hopping, twirling, shuffling, etc… The way each disassembly uses these techniques is what makes them different. You also will see constant eye contact and rattling of the wing blades during the show. As the performance goes on the disassembly will begin to get closer to the drone, who would usually be standing in the middle of the display, surrounding them in a spiral-like motion.

Unfortunately, the aforementioned shiny things don’t just attract potential mates, but also competition. Now there are many reasons why another disassembly may want to invade on such a ceremonial performance: the oil lying around, scraps, territory, or the other drone (wether it be for food or partnership) The performer however, will hardly go down without a fight. Surprisingly, disassemblys can be very civil creatures. When impeding on such an important performance like this, even disassemblys know that they shouldn’t cause blood oil-shed whenever there’s a poor, unsuspecting drone around (unless they’re not the one being swooned). Disassemblys will instead fight for dominance using their appearances and techniques alone. They’ll show off their claws and shake their wings and tail as a warning, then they usually begin to get int each other’s faces and start hissing and butting chests. They do this to try and push the other out of the circle. Why?

Because once a disassembly has been pushed out-

-it is a sign of weakness, and is taken as a loss.

Now that that has been handled, it is time for the final phase of the dance. Once a disassembly has gotten close enough to the other drone, they will begin to do light headbutts to the others chest. If the drone continues to stay, that in turn means they are completely comfortable with the other.

 And now the ceremony is finally completed.

I love that it’s canon that Nori deals with emotions just as terribly as Uzi

Nori, having never experienced having a crush before and is entirely unsure on how to express these feelings, decided the best course of action is to break into Khan’s room. Why was this her first idea? Good question, it was a spur of the moment thing so she really has no explanation.

Realizing this was a terrible idea, she began leaving through the broken window (she threw a brick through it) and as she does the door just opens up revealing Khan, who just got off his shift.

They both just stare at each other for a moment before Nori, in a panic, hits Khan with the classic line, “Hey, bbygrl. You come here often?”

Khan, snapping out of the trance induced by a mix of concern, surprising and flusterness, answered, “Yes, this is my room?”

Nori then just laughed and shoot him fingers guns before crawling out the window and disappears into the night.

Khan is left there confused and absolutely smittened by the mysterious purple haired intruder.

FanFusion trinket haul!!

I absolutely loved the environment, everyone was just fully themselves with no judgment or social anxiety. Saw so many AMAZING cosplays and even had people ask about mine as well!
