I had a dream last night about chongyun having a yang overload and just taking a big ol BITE outta All for One. I don't remember the context at *all* but the visuals were really something.
Bros eyes were bugged tf out. He had fangs, pointed ears and horns... blood dripping down his chin. He had ice gauntlets that extended past his elbows a bit so if he bent his arm you'd get an icicle to your gut... ice claws... a tail that was thudding around like an angry cat... just very wild and in-human looking...
Anyways, idk how to turn this into a prompt but I had to record it *somewhere* cuz it looked cool af.

Theory: yae publishing house is the only thing propping up inazumas economy
Ok so we know that inazumas main exports before the sakoku decree were kimono, fireworks and books, right?
And we know that the country outside of inazuma who uses the most fireworks legit invented them (liyue) so they have no need to import them
And since the ingredients needed to dye the textiles to make kimono can barely grow any since (and because of) the sakoku decree, on top of the fact that lavender melon is a significant part of the inazuma diet (out all the available dishes i believe 1/3 of them require lavender melon) so whatever dregs can be grown in the barren fields are definitely used for food.
And considering inazuma relies on imported chicken, potatoes and bamboo sprouts to supplement their simple diet, they legit HAVE to rely on yae publishing house to pump out as much product as they can
No wonder why in all those daily commissions you're fuckin nagging authors to hurry tf up and get their shit together.
Makes me wonder about malnutrition during the sakoku decree... you only have 1 island capable of growing food, and now it's barren. All the others are 1) corrupted by tatarigami, 2) corrupted by dead thunderbird juice, 3) a bunch of coral smashed together and 4) an uninhabitable island covered in dense fog and ghosts...
Anyways I know it isn't explicitly stated, but the people were 100% starving under that decree.

Guess what time it is? Prompt time baby.
Diluc again cuz why tf not?
Diluc was gone for 4 whole years hell bent on revenge and getting his answers no matter who was in his way. It wasn't until later on though that he noticed how his rage had turned him sloppy, his claymore brutal and frenzied. How the sight of his enemies blood started exciting him
It all came to a head during a rare moment of clarity at the end of a battle; diluc noticed the taste of blood in his mouth and the very clear bite marks on his victims/enemies.
Horrified at the monster he's become, diluc flees back home, only to continue to crave blood and brutality. Desperate to fix himself, he reinstates kaeya as the heir to the wine business and flees again, taking residence in an old outpost.
When the Darknight Hero debuts, people aren't too fond of him, knowing that his victims are suffering from extensive blood loss and unrelated injuries... and kaeya vows to stop this alleged "hero", even if it might be his reclusive brother.

Super half assed prompt this time but it looks like diluc is my blorbo this fiscal quarter so here goes
Diluc was kidnapped by the fatui at 5-6 years old, with a ransom note promising to exchange him unharmed for the proto delusion that his father has hidden... tho due to circumstances the ransom note was never delivered...
So now the fatui have this brat kid and no proto delusion... so what do they do? They train him of course. He's told that his father sold him for the proto-delusion which as far as the fatui are concerned is actually true and his father is goin nuts trying to find his son cuz he has no idea about the ransom note... misunderstandings on all sides.
So diluc is raised by the fatui, still a child soldier but in a different font, but this time raised as an assassin. Afterall, he's young n small enough to get past most security. And because of his lineage they're not about to sacrifice him to dottores experiments.
Eventually, he's tasked to go to monsdadt with signora to secure the anemo gnosis *and* the proto delusion... but when he goes to grab it in the manor, kaeya recognizes him from old childhood pics + the fact that he looks like his father...
Just... fatui assassin Diluc realizing that his life was a lie only to also find out his only known family is dead... and that he's got a brother? now.
Also even though his life was a lie, the fatui never actually lied to him and he still agrees with their mission... so trying to reconcile that along with his newly found family is gonna be hard af.

Idk who needs to hear this but it takes 11 hours to walk from dawn winery to Springville, and roughly 18 and a half hours to walk from dawn winery to the angels share. Horses would help a ton here but, oops, Varka took them all.
So there's gotta be like, a doc in Springville at least. It makes no sense that the nearest medical care is 7.5 hours away? Same with the winery. There's a whole ass company town on the winery grounds. There's gotta be a doc living there too.
Also, Diluc isn't fooling anyone with "oh I just so happened to be here cuz I'm covering for Charles." 🙄 ain't no way your sweaty ass walked for 18 hours straight to cover for this guy. The darknight heros either got to be an open secret or the Knights are dumb as hell.

Ya know how when other people use the delusions it feeds off of their life force? But harbringers are *mostly* unaffected? What if you can get it to feed off something else?
Diluc doesn't know this though, but he's got enough rage and self hatred to feed the delusion and *then some*. Maybe a lil too much.
So after he's been back in Monsdadt for a while, stressed as hell (yet another argument with kaeya) and he's forced to use his delusion to stop an abyssal plot, the delusion gets over fed and *feeds* life force back.
He's finally finished fighting what appeared to be never ending abyss mages and he's *tired*. His limbs feel gangly and *off* and the claymore hasn't felt this heavy since he's started training with it. But he's so so tired and he knows he can't sleep here (not safe not safe) but then he trips and his eyes are shut before he hit the ground.
When he wakes, he's confronted with what appears to be his 12 year old self and a vision that looks strangly off putting. And he thinks "oh shit, the abyss order will absolutely take advantage of this" and "oh fuck, there's no one to protect monsdadt then" and decides the best plan is to leave monsdadt all together while he figures out wtf just happened and how to reverse it.
Everyone in monsdadt is distressed about the wine merchant disappearing *again*, but none so more than kaeya.
When diluc comes to the realization that it was the delusion that regressed his body, he ceases to use it and eventually gets his adult body back. He returns home to the relief of his staff and brother but kaeya will *not let it go*
"Where were you?" "Galavanting to murder again?" "You could've at least written us" "honestly diluc one must wonder if you even *want* to be here when you keep leaving us"
Diluc can only give so many "don't worry about it/it doesn't concern you/don't you have a job to get to 🙄" before Kaeya decided those answers aren't good enough and confronts him once and for all.
It was a nasty fight. One of the worst. But not *the* worst and diluc was grateful for that. How could his brother stand to be near him after what he did all those years ago? And he keeps trying to get closer and diluc cannot deal. He goes to sleep that night riddled with guilt and dread and the delusion, hidden away in a drawer, drinks it all in.
Diluc wakes up again in his 12 year old body and damn near shits himself. He didn't even use the delusion this time wtf? Thankfully it's early enough that he could sneak away unnoticed... but kaeya waiting by the front door...
"Leaving so soon? My my what would the people think?... wait, you're not diluc... who are you?"
And what does diluc do in this situation when he doesn't want to bother people with his issues? Lie. Not well. But he's gonna lie anyway
"I'm his... son, that's why he left. To collect me"
And kaeya clocks him right away. He knows that's his brother. Ain't nobody else that bad at lying with the same tells. So fuck it, he's gonna have fun with it.
Queue Kaeya forcing diluc into brotherly bonding time under the guise of uncle/nephew bonding time and diluc has no clue he knows. And the only way to get out of the forced bonding is to let the truth out so he comes up with more and more outrageous cover stories to his "uncle" to explain his "fathers" absence and kaeya is having the time of his life
.
.
.
.
.
This is brought to you by my sudden craving to see kaeya braid dilucs hair and it ran away from me after that. Have fun with this one yall

Instead of the delusion feeding off his life force, diluc feeds it his rage. It seems to work just fine and there are no adverse effects... or so he thinks... while diluc was feeding it rage it was feeding diluc something back...
When signora attempts to take the gnosis from venti she recognizes a spark in the young wine heir, and the delusion reacts badly to the gnosis being so close. Signora sees a way to negotiate what she wants and ties a tighter noose around monsdadt in the process: she offers to save him in return for compliance with the Fatui and the gnosis
Diluc wakes in Snezhnaya with no control of the magic in blood, and the Tsaritsa ensures his compliance. After all, he can easily be put to death along with his loved ones back home.
This is mostly an excuse for Crimson Witch of Flames Diluc... idk how I haven't seen a single fic of that
