I decided to make Beckett's family! First up, his parents:
His father, Arthur Pillar-Butterfly (51) , is a well known farmer and contractor in a neighboring town. He can build nearly anything as long as he's got blueprints! He's very sweet, kind, and generous. He's the only one who formed a bond with Beckett! However, his wife can't be around when they're bonding. She hates it.
His wife, Judith (49), comes from a filthy rich family of CEOs and is a complete snob and "Karen". She can't stand her middle child, as she blames him for nearly everything. It doesn't help she almost lost him at 38 weeks, and that he ended up having the brightest colors out of them all; which his mother had always wanted her daughter to have. But she loathes him so much, she has even "forgotten" him on several occasions and even hates to hear his name!
Now to his siblings! ↓
Linus is the oldest, at 28. Following behind is Terrence (26), Beckett himself (22), Mona (18), and Enoch (17).
Linus is extremely snobby and thinks of himself better than everyone. He is a very popular model in the city. He's rarely ever home, but when he is, he makes it a known fact just how much more 'important' he is than the others, especially Beckett.
Terrence, to say the least, is a jerk and a half! He's a corporal in the army, and loves using his status to his advantage. In fact, it's because of Terrence that Beckett even has a spliced brow! When he had come home for a few days after his first year of training, he put Beckett through the same hell he trained in, but Beckett was too young and scared and ended up getting hurt! Howdy, their cousin, wasn't too happy! But in his opinion, Beckett is a pansy who needs to toughen up.
Mona is an absolute firecracker, doing a lot of reckless things behind her mother's back, such as skateboarding with boys, spray painting buildings late at night, sneaking out, etc. Being the only daughter, she was pushed to be her mother's mini me once born. But too much force made her become resistant and a rogue against their mom. However, their mom can't stay mad at her and accepts it, though she tries to add on her little thoughts every once in a while. But Mona believes Beckett is a wuss, who will turn out to be and I quote "as boring as their father".
As for Enoch, he could honestly care less about them all. However, he's the only one that even slightly understands Beckett and how he feels left out! He only understands this because Enoch is an outcast and the deemed "emo bad boy" of his highschool.
