When is Proserpina going to update? It has been a very long time, is it abandoned?

Hi there! ::brushes dust off tumblr::I know Proserpina has been inactive for along time. (Like a year, ouch.) I’ve been muddling in and out of depression, professional identity crises, and the pandemic, etc. I’ve been wanting to get back to it, but for awhile it was hard for me to just get through the day and, like, feed myself and take a shower occasionally.

But I’m feeling better! (Thank goodness for antidepressants!) And I’m taking Proserpina back out and hoping to have an update in a week or two. I had started the next chapter when I stalled out, and I think I’m actually pretty close to the end.I really, really appreciate hearing from readers and knowing that people have continued to be interested in the story, even if I’ve been very bad at responding to comments and questions. <3 My thanks for your patience!

At long last, it’s finished! My, uh, summer 2018 exchange fic for @skaoi-on-ao3, with the prompt the song “Dark Nights” by Dorothy. Thanks for your patience! It only took me, what, 6 months?

Summary: "Los Angeles had gotten bigger, and at the same time smaller, since he met the detective and ventured out of the world he had built for himself. He still loved Lux, loved presiding over his world of pleasure and desire, but he had so much more now. So many more things he loved. So many more people."

A string of murders connected to Lucifer. A threatening darkness among the stars. Possibly the end of the universe.
