I love Suvirin Kedberiket SO. MUCH.

Some of y’all like to give her a lot of shit about her loyalty to the Citadel and Empire (absolutely nuance-free, and that is a whole other convo) but look at what she fuckin did when rubber hit the road! She saw this family—one tied to the *opposition* in a very long and bitter war, mind you—in distress and possible danger by her very own people, and did not bat an *eyelash* before taking action to make sure they were safe and undisturbed.

Suvi is a good, good person and that is not in spite of her Citadel training, it is because of it. She was able to protect Ame because of the magic she learned there, and she was able to protect this family because of her military standing. And LEST he be forgotten☝️, Vandal is once again proving an MVP!!! A byproduct of Citadel magic and work ethic!

"I hope it brings you bliss" she has to pretend every day for the rest of her life that she hated elphaba while thinking she is dead " and you don't live to regret it" by the time for good came glinda regretted everything she has done to hurt elphaba, not supporting her when she should have, spreading malicious rumours about her, accidentally revealing how much neesa means to her "i hope you are happy in the end / i hope you are happy my friend" Glinda after staying with the wizard got everything she truly wanted, she was loved and admired, she was the most popular and she had a fiance yet in the end she ended up alone, the two people she loved and knew her true self her dead while elphaba got her well deserved happy ending.

I wonder if part of Suvi's desperation to know a clear 'right thing to do' is because one of her earliest memories of making a decision was bathing Eursolon.
