Dude I'm so fucking sick of feeling like a piece of shit.

I can't look for work bc of benefits, but benefits don't pay enough bc it's temp benefits while they figure out if my claim is legit.... I have them full access to my medical records and a written statement from my last job saying they let me go because my condition was too severe, what's the fuck is there to check??

I just want to be able to go outside and not worry about spending money on a bus ticket so I can do normal fucking things, god I hate this fucking system

Can't believe I haven't actually posted about anything witchy / pagan considering its like the first word in my bio???

Anyways, currently trying to establish communication / connection (??) with Goddess Sirona, I've felt very drawn to her for a long time and it's the first time as a pagan I've actually felt connected to a specific deity.

I usually would lean to the more pantheistic side of things, but there's a lot of symbolism and specific healing motifs Sirona represents that really means a lot to me as a chronically Ill person. I dunno, she feels very comforting?? I mean she represents hot springs and healing I mean?? Love that.

Anyways! I can't really talk to my S/O about it as he's very much not into witchy stuff, he's supportive but, eh, its not his thing. I don't mind, it's so personal anyways I just think other like-minded people will appreciate the deeper feelings this brings 💜

THIS dude, sometimes it's so fucking hard to form words because of the pain

i think a lot of people don't realize that when you are in extreme and acute pain you don't have the ability sometimes to reason or communicate clearly. It's harder to understand things and be able to rationalize and communicate and articulate yourself well when your pain is impairing that function. Please be patient with people in acute pain, it takes way more mental energy to come up with a coherent thought or phrase when your body is fighting with you.

You guessed it, more medicine to replace this one, and to speak to a specialist, who I have been waiting to speak to since February.

Awesome. Walked into the meeting with big boss man™ and I walked out without a job.

Now I am unemployed, with a list of sickness absences due to disability, and a system that doesn't fucking support disabled people.
