I was listening to a podcast today, where two Canadian women talk about books, they mentioned their summer plans, swimming, mobile library project, and I got so jealous to be honest. Because everything they said sounded.... Peaceful. Normal. Mundane life. This is what life without war is like. And I obviously don't mean it in a "we suffer, so you must too" way, good for them and each of you who haven't experienced war, this is how it should be. But I so desperately want our lives to be like this too. Having normal problems, not "in about 30 minutes russian missiles will reach Ukrainian airspace, there's no point in going to bed tonight". Not having your life on pause and being able to build plans is such a privilege.
