“And in the bloodlit dark behind his eyes, silver phosphenes boiled in from the edge of space, hypnagogic images jerking past like a film compiled of random frames. Symbols, figures, faces, a blurred, fragmented mandala of visual information.”
- William Gibson

BEST TUMBLR EVER. I don't know who you are or anything about you except for your taste in music, but I can be pretty sure that you are one of the best persons I have ever encountered. Thank you for your posts! x
I think I will let you think that. Yes, agreed. I will let you think that. Also, it’s always best to assume someone is good based on their musical taste. I agree with this also. Welcome to my world. Please take a seat. I will now smother you with music.

“You are fettered," said Scrooge, trembling. "Tell me why?" "I wear the chain I forged in life," replied the Ghost. "I made it link by link, and yard by yard; I girded it on of my own free will, and of my own free will I wore it.”
-- Charles Dickens

I’m a sucker for fantasy/sci-fi/demons, so I was really happy when I became Twitch friends with Josh. He’s currently selling his original paintings for probably way too cheap, so if you like original work, go his bigcartel: http://joshmcdraw.bigcartel.com/
p.s. All these paintings and future paintings are painted in a creepy junk filled attic in Indiana. I thought I would add that information for atmosphere.

The fog is coming in again. I don’t know how to fight it.
Also, Jordan, I don’t know if you’re paying attention, but I’ve mailed this out to you as I had promised.

“I’ve crossed some kind of invisible line. I feel as if I’ve come to a place I never thought I’d have to come to. And I don’t know how I got here. It’s a strange place. It’s a place where a little harmless dreaming and then some sleepy, early-morning talk has led me into considerations of death and annihilation.”
-- Raymond Carver

“Where you come from is gone, where you thought you were going to never was there, and where you are is no good unless you can get away from it.”
-- Flannery O’Connor
I, unfortunately, just found the quote that substantiates my entire life.

“The huge round lunar clock was a gristmill. Shake down all the grains of Time—the big grains of centuries, and the small grains of years, and the tiny grains of hours and minutes—and the clock pulverized them, slid Time silently out in all directions in a fine pollen, carried by cold winds to blanket the town like dust, everywhere. Spores from that clock lodged in your flesh to wrinkle it, to grow bones to monstrous size, to burst feet from shoes like turnips. Oh, how that great machine…dispensed Time in blowing weathers.”
- Ray Bradbury
And with that, Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus. (Merry Christmas)

I took a monoprint class yesterday, and realized that monoprints were probably more my speed because I didn’t have to worry about all the set up. Ink and go.
I was drawing over one of my prints, and realized after I had finished that I basically copied Andy Warhol’s cat. THANKS, BRAIN. The only saving grace for my cat is that it, as with all the other things I draw, is pissed.

This song is for Eleanor.
These owls protect and guide her along whatever spectral kibble afterworld she chooses to patrol.
(Although you can’t put a price on spiritual guides, these owls, due to my constant ditching of class for the past two 8 week sessions, are a combined worth of about $500.)
“...to see the Nation of Ulysses...ON TAPE...”
p.s. I’m losing my mind.

“Proud and insolent youth,” said Hook, “prepare to meet thy doom.” For long the two enemies looked at one another, Hook shuddering slightly, and Peter with the strange smile upon his face. “Dark and sinister man,” Peter answered, “have at thee.”
