school’s starting and that’s all well and good but like can we skip august and go to september/october? i want homecoming. i want football games. i want my life to feel the way american teenager by ethel cain sounds. i want falling leaves and pumpkin spice everything. i want stick season and girl in red. romanticizing school is so much more fun in wool sweaters and long comfy socks.

i’ve watched deadpool and deadpool 2, recently watched x men and am now watching logan, all so i can watch deadpool & wolverine this weekend…and let me tell you, the jump from the first x men to logan is CRAZY. five minutes in and i’m like “wait—wtf did i miss? wtf is happening? where’s everybody else?” i skipped five movies and i can tell what’s happening but i have no fucking idea how i got here 😭

growing up with an older sister is like. i hate you i love you you’re the worst person i know you’re stronger than anyone i’ve ever met you gave me tissues that one time i was crying you push me away when i try to hug you and i know you’d give me your kidney but you never give me the time of day and at the end of it all, i can tell we’re slowly becoming friends so even as you call me every name in the book i know you’ll forget about it tomorrow when we blast music in the car all the way home
