Personal Update

Hey guys I first of all just want to appologize about not being very active recently.

The nitty gritty is that I have been on a period since March, consistently filling night time pads to the maximum two to three times a day. Between that and depression/anxiety I have barely been able to care for myself let alone do large amounts of work. I have been able to see the doctor this last month and I am finally on the road to figure out what is wrong. Currently all we know is that my health is actually really good, beside being critically low on iron.

I am being schedualed for an OB-GYN and a ultrasound by my doctor for further investigation. At best I just need to take a birthcontrol to help regulate things better, or at worse I am getting a hysterectomy.

I am still working in the Stink Lot when I can, but between taking care of myself, helping the family, and helping take care of the home I have little left in me.

Good news! 

I have heard overall interest and positive feedback from developing resin casts of furby parts. I will keep working towards the cleaning of the stink lot and the funds I receive from those will be going directly to making supplies for resin casting fluid (I have two types I am going to test for the casts) but I am still looking at about $100+ to buy supplies for silicone casting material, silicone release spray, and the liquid resin. 

I will post a the google doc with the furby types, details, and price estimates in the next week so keep an eye on that and dont feel shy about making reserves for adoption! I look forward to working towards this next project and seeing what everyone can do with I create.

Would people be interested in me selling custom furby parts?

With my hopes high with a new way to clean the furby stink lot skins, I have been thinking a lot about our community and how wonderfully creative our community is with our wonderful robots. Which got me wondering if people would be interested in cast resin furby parts.

As someone who has wanted to make an oddbody or plush furby for myself but hate thinking of needing to take apart a furby to make one, using casted parts to make these wonderful furbies would be a great alternative! 

I would make them upon request, and would be happy to work towards making functioning beaks, furby eyes (and eye lids), faceplates (working towards having a mold of each 1998 and baby model), eye chips (adult and baby sizes with swirl impression), & body casings. If I am able, will also attempt at casting and replicating the ear bones since they have a tendency to snap and break. 

If this seems like something you would be interested in, please spread this around within the community so I can see if this is something I should spend time on for the community or if it should be something to do for myself. :>
