Neptune is a young siren who lives with his family. When he was younger, he was different from other boys, most boys his age would prefer to play around the coral reefs and play with fishball (the sea equivalent of soccer), but Neptune would make seashell accessories and frolic around with sea life, his family were amazed to see his craftsmanships and love to hear the stories of his misadventures but he is often made fun of by his male peers

On the other hand, some of Neptune's female peers would stand by him and defend him. As his male peers grew older, they troubled him less, while Neptune remained the same seashell-crafting, sea-life-loving boy he had always been. In contrast, his male peers had changed significantly; they now preferred learning swordsmanship and had become more aggressive toward their female counterparts. Neptune was teased for being too feminine. His older sister, Valerie, took issue with this mistreatment and frequently showed more aggression than the boys, which made her the target of jokes within their peer group. In this dynamic, Neptune displayed a more feminine demeanor for a siren, while Valerie exhibited a more masculine nature for a mermaid.

The parents of Neptune and Valerie, Eona Posiden and Aquinas Posiden, were concerned about their children getting socially isolated. However, luck favored them when Neptune was awarded a scholarship to Azure Academy, and Aquinas found a job near the entertainment district of Adagio City. As soon as Neptune and Valerie graduated, they bid farewell to their close friends and moved to Adagio City.

Neptune is a cheerful and optimistic, but sassy boy, while he's not the brightest student, he makes it up with his abilities as a social butterfly. While he doesn't get angry often, he's the most vocal about it.

Elina is a young nymph, who used to live alongside her mother, Achara Pramana. Her father, Jacob Lamosh, was divorced because he was a danger to Elina in his drunken state.

With her father divorced and gone from her life, the only one supporting her is her mother, as time went by so did her health with the exhaustion she carries for the sake of her child, and with that Elina studies hard for her mother's sake.

One day, when she went home from her daily studies to find her mother collapsed on the floor, it was discovered that she overworked herself to the point where she never sleeps, Elina decided to take care of her mother during the day while studying, and finding odd jobs in the night for some money. This kept on going until Achara drew her last breath.

Achara was aware of Elina's capabilities and desired to support her child throughout her journey. Sadly, before she passed away, Achara wrote a heartfelt letter to Elina as a small token for her. Elina was deeply saddened by the loss of her mother, who had nurtured and cared for her tirelessly. In honor of her mother's memory, Elina made a promise to excel academically and secured a special scholarship to attend Azure High. She is determined to become the person her mother would be proud of.

Elina is a very shy and introverted person, but don't underestimate her abilities and intellect are beyond extraordinary, she is also a very gentle person, but stern if needed. She'll also be very talkative when someone asks her about certain subjects like potions and plants

Astro is a young dragon boy who used to live with his parents, Tatsu Suzaku and Koneko Suzaku. He is also a brother of 3, Ryoku Phoenix-Ash and Nova Phoenix-Ash. He had a normal childhood until his father came home heavily wounded, without his mother except for her weapon, her crossbow. Tatsu urges his children to leave their childhood home and go to Adagio City for safety.

They quickly left their old home, but Tatsu stayed behind so his children could live there. That was the last time Astro and his siblings ever saw their father. Tatsu's friend, Aki, who got a message from Tatsu about his situation, decided to take care of his children and raise them as his own. As the eldest son, Astro chooses to help with chores and give his siblings a happy childhood. This continued until he entered high school and was accepted to a prestigious high school. Due to the distance and the requirements, he has to separate from his siblings and parental figure. They didn't want to, but they promised to see each other soon.

Astro is a calm and level-headed individual, resembling an older brother figure. He enjoys teasing his younger or shorter peers and tends to be blunt and literal in his speech. However, if angered, he can become brutally fierce. Like Ivor, Astro is loyal and supportive of his friends in their journeys.

Ivor was a young child in a strict household, with a severe and religious mother, Berdina Adelyne, alongside his young sister, Clarissa Windstorm, who was the golden child of his family and the only loving family member, his father, Levhart Windstorm. Berdina controls Ivor's actions from his speech and attire to his schedule, attitude, and identity. Any form of disobedience ends in Ivor getting severely punished by her. This continued for years until he was done with his mother's control over everything he had.

During choir practices, Berdina notices his lack of productivity and isn't too content with singing as if he hates it, so she confronts and scolds him for being lazy when Ivor hears this, he yells at her for over his well-being and his feelings for years, then he cuts his hair showing her, the person behind the mask she forces him to wear for a portion of his life. She is furious with him and kicks him out of the house when Levhart hears this he divorces her immediately, packs his and Ivor's things, and leaves for Adagio City with his son. A few years later, he was accepted into a very prestigious school via a test of his intelligence and mental test, and he passed.

Ivor is a naturally cheerful person. However, beneath that bright exterior lies a stubborn streak; his irritation can quickly surface when provoked. Despite this, his protective and loving nature shines through in his relationships, as he exhibits unwavering loyalty to his friends and family. When he senses that a loved one is on a path that threatens their freedom or well-being, will bravely intervene, ready to offer support and guide them back.

Diana is an orphan, who was adopted by a Man named Kazuki Haruto, alongside his nephew, Yukimura Haruto, and his close acquaintance, Sherly Maddison. She was the odd one out at her orphanage considering she never interacted or socialized with anyone and prefer drawing and sketching, this resulted in her getting teased many times by her peers and oftentimes insulted which in turn made her distrust others.

The orphanage staff doesn't help, considering they isolate her from her peers from lunch breaks to study times. once she was adopted, she didn't trust anyone, from both the Haruto family members to Miss Sherly herself; she would often isolate herself from them all.

Until she noticed a book fit for sketching and drawing, so as someone, who loves to sketch and draw, she started filling the pages with drawings and sketches until Yukimura pepped in and saw her drawings and sketches. He complimented her and Diana as being someone who was teased, insulted, and isolated, was shocked and then he asked if he can draw with her, to which she agrees and she trusted and opened herself to her Adoptive family. While school days are often filled with drama and bullying, she isn't alone. her now-adoptive brother, Yukimura Haruto, as a friend.

One day, her Now-adopted uncle fell ill, and it was revealed he has a heart problem, due to this, he can't be as active as he was before. Because of this Yukimura decided to help his uncle with the living costs by working with Sherly at her cafe and studying harder than before Diana following her big brother's example did the same. After Yukimura and Diana graduated, their uncle's condition was critical and he passed. She decided to not go to High school and work at the cafe full-time.

Yukimura, as her brother didn't want her to be alone without any friends of her age decided to search for a solution. Until he stumbles upon a lottery, with the winner having to go to a prestigious school, he was suspicious but with nothing but desperation, he entered the lottery with his sister's name and won the lottery.

He told Diana about the lottery he won, and she was shocked and a little angry at Yukimura but he told her his reasons, and she decided to go.
