Haven't been to Jiu-Jitsu this week or last cause I think I strained my shoulder. I can't even cross it across my chest without it basically giving me the middle finger, and it's been like this for nearly 2 weeks. 🙄
At least a calorie deficit doesn't need exercise.

Birthday week saw me up to 160 again 🤢.
Back on track this week! I bought myself a veggie spiralizer and have been putting it to good use meal prepping zoodles. Yum!
Zoodle, few baby shrimp, Kerrygold (so calorie dense but so delicious), salt, pepper and a few slices of leftover carrots. +/-350 calories.

Feeling fairy-like today at 154.1 lbs in my new dress. Got bruised up last night in jiu jitsu, so those will be showing up soon.
Enjoyed a nice walk to work this morning to start my day off right. 💪

Made cookies tonight, went for some exploring in the hills, took some nice pictures, ate about 1600 calories... Skipped jiu jitsu tonight, but still got some fitness in and made my 10k steps!
Now I'm just chilling and watching Supersize vs. Superskinny on YouTube. Tomorrow my students are testing so I think I'll walk to work, which I did Wednesday as well. It's too nice in the morning not to.
Keep on keeping on! Small steps go a long way.

Happy October!
Tonight is Jiu jitsu. I made it once last week, but I'm still coughing up stuff so I didn't go Friday. I hate being sick.
Should be a good day though - the weather is supposed to be nice today with a bit of rain.
Ate a bit too much last week, so I'm at 156, most of which is probably water weight. Such is life.

Back to 95% feeling better!
Last week was the worst I've felt in a long time, physically. Sinus infections are no fun at all. Managed to eat at slightly below maintenance most of the time so that was nice.
My students presented today, and one group brought in pierogi and burritos... Intercultural breakfast for sure!

On the upside...
When I went to the doc yesterday, she said I've lost 10lbs since my first consultation with her in June, when I moved into town!
Now I'm back to pre middle-school teaching weight. Whooohooo!
I'm probably actually at the weight, or LOWER, than I was in middle school many years ago too.
Still right about 155 (and full of snot and rosemary lemon cake).

Sick all week
Ugh, a damn sinus infection that moved into my chest last night has cocked up my whole week!
All the kids are back at college and are Petri dishes, so they've infected me as well.
My roommate was nice enough to run to Walmart at midnight last night and pick me up some cough drops though. Best roomie ever.
Once I'm back on my feet, it'll be back to Jiu jitsu and being awesome!

I was inputting my calories into my excel sheet today and cringing, but also happy. It allows me to see where I’m going wrong but also see that this week, I did pretty well and was below maintenance for my weekly average. 
My goal for next week is to have my average closer to 1200 than 1500, and I’m confident I’ll make it. I have my meals prepped, and I have my determination to be cognizant of what I’m eating. 
Considering I spent most of yesterday morning bawling while watching The Dragon Prince (it’s so damn cute, seriously), I can guess why I wanted to eat all the pumpkin bread and brownies today, which is also why I didn’t weigh this morning. It’s annoying when some things are late (cause I think I said I didn’t weigh Wednesday for the same reason) but whatever. Life.
