Captain America: Brave new world review.

I just saw it with my fiancé this evening, I’m just giving my personal opinion. This will contain some spoilers

Let’s start the new intro, I hate it, already a bad start, no iconic introduction a little let down. I fear it’s foreshadowing.

The title sequence. What the hell even was that? The editing was so strange how they put that together, honestly not good. Considering the first half was written with help of AI (apparently) it was a mess, it was all over the place for the first half. I couldn’t really make much sense of it, the fight scenes weren’t great either. And some actors just weren’t good, I couldn’t get into there characters because they weren’t putting into it either.

The flying fight sequence of Japan va USA was where I believed it started to get better. It was still a little choppy but enjoyable and I think the only time i actually enjoyed it up until that moment.

Now… the Bucky cameo. Made it 100% better. It was really what Sam needed at that moment in time, it was nice to see buck on screen and a obvious lead into Thunderbolts* (that I am excited for) and I think after that with widow and her comment about Bucky and his age, was the only time I actually laughed at a joke. The humor wasn’t great in the movie either. It was more cringe.

I feel like it got better towards the end. The ending fight scene was good, could it have been better. Yes. But still alright. I see where they are going with the future of the MCU.

Now the future. What I see happening is they are just trying to make a new avengers to try and bring back the same nostalgia and success the original avengers had. As they can’t really milk it anymore. They are making a new avengers. They already have the captain, the new hulk, a widow and a falcon now joining them. I see they will probably try and include that in this new iron heart and make her the new “iron man” that’s just my theory. If they try. I don’t see it getting the same hype as I think Marvel is hoping to get.

Now the end credits scene. What the fuck? It was so… lame. Bad. They are supposed to hype up the next movie but. It just told us stuff we already know. More universes. Like we know that? It just didn’t excite me for the next one. Kinda lame.

Overall I’d give like a 4/10 at least. Maybe 3.5 I just… I hope the next ones are better, better directed, better written, better executed.

Overall. Good date night with my fiancé, not great movie.
