Went on a 5 hour train journey there and back again for a vacation this week and told myself that I was going to update my fic the entire way for both journeys.

Guess what did not happen.

I made a friend on the subway back after the concert and she had been in the front row and took some phenomenal up-close shots which she shared with me, one of which I printed out like a proper poster

I now release into the wild my personal collection of Copia pictures in which he looks actually scary. Because this man is silly and pathetic and resembles a wet dog both physically and spiritually but his rat face and complete lack of ass have charmed me in ways that cannot be described with any of the words in the Bible.

Slowly updating the next chapter of my fic and I've taken to writing it on the AO3 browser (as opposed to Word, like a normal person would), so it's kinda funny to see the hit count go up marginally each time I log in to add another sentence, like "oh hits:312, didn't it used to be 311? Neato."

Next day "313, that person must have liked it enough to read the next chapter."

Two days later "woah 317 hits, that one user must have got invested once things take off plot wise around chapter 5 and read several chapters in one go, nice!"

So, shout out to that one reader who slowly keeps the hit count ticking upwards, it's nice to see someone enjoying it in real time
