Just me ranting a little

Hello to the few followers that might see and read this post! I'm pretty quiet on Tumblr in terms of talking etc. Not because I don't like y'all, but Tumblr isn't my space to talk, I just like to post things here/promote my work etc. But I ofcourse see enough posts and rants and drama around here. First of all, let me make it clear that I am no fan of drama, I rather not mingle in it. I do have my opinions (I'm only human), but I come here to share stuff and have a good time most of all. However, I read some vague posts from people who've been talking about negativity and saying people left the fandom, feeling isolated etc. and I am a bit done with the way they seem to victimize themselves. I for a fact know that someone has pushed another away that was supposed to be their friend, but with a knife in their back, ofcourse they take distance. So I just want to say; maybe there is a reason some people are not talking to you anymore. You have to communicate with them and sometimes it also means you have to own up to your mistakes and apologize instead of staying silent. Maybe they shouldn't say "no" immediately when someone reaches out to try and become friends. Or maybe when people try to talk to you/wish you well/ask a question on another platform, they could try and respond at least in some way. I get that social anxiety is a thing (I have it too) and sometimes it's hard to respond, or maybe you have other things going on that makes that you forget to respond, but when it happens over and over and over, yes. People stop trying. And I am not saying everyone who feels lonely/isolated has this problem, please do not misunderstand! But there's someone I know that really needs to try and look at their own actions and hopefully they'll understand that putting in work and effort and actual communication could maybe mend some bonds or create new ones. So that's it... I know most people won't even read this and that's fine, but I just needed to get it out there. Someone I personally know has been hurt and I couldn't stay fully silent. Don't ask me for names, because 1. I won't give them to you and 2. I am not out here to start drama (there's more than enough already). Just wanted to vent. Thank you for listening to my Tedtalk.
