Actually the perfect pair of them to do so. Luffy would start to get bored that nothing is happening, but would be entertained by Usppp's tales of the horrors that occurred. Usopp tries bringing Zoro once, but he just cuts the house in half to de facto beat the ghost.

I don't see Luffy doing it too many times before losing interest though.

Robin would play along but be too morbid, especially for Chopper, who is already too scared. Sanji doesn't give a shit except to pamper Nami and Robin if they go, and yell at the others about bringing them to such a gross awful place (he sees a rat; he leaves a little snack). Franky is sadly too big, Jinbe is amused but not enough to participate, and Brook is kind of scared, but also keeps "accidentally" startling the others from the shadows.

Nami thinks it's dumb until she ends up with financial motivation to participate. She is the first ever to prove that ghosts exist (she would have been terrified, but those berries weren't gonna collect themselves)

I don't know if it's similar at all for you, but my thinking on this is that gaming is an experience. A lot of it is vibes. Imagine going to a movie theatre where all the lights stay on; not very atmospheric. The cables aren't part of the game itself, but they are part of the overall vibes of older games, and add to the feeling of nostalgia or stepping back in time.

TVs themselves not having 5hose sorts of connections anymore is disappointing to me because it drives technology into antiquity all the faster. Now you need extra parts and space and cable management and time put into connecting anything older to something modern, and it's really just easier to get a newer device to match.

I watched a Mrwhosetheboss video where he looked at all of the Nintendo home consoles. He went out of his way to get the appropriate TV for the time of each console's release, and I really liked that

Also, I think it depends on the TV. My parents have a current Samsung QLED Smart TV (and boy do I hate how your TV itself will start showing you ads. Will literally minimize whatever you're watching to the left and the entire right third of the screen will be a giant vertical banner ad. Infuriating. Imagine paying thousands for something and then they still want to make you the product) and as far as I remember, is has RCA. Will edit tomorrow if I was wrong.

What adaptors do you use to hook your wii up to modern tvs??? Mine looks so crusty and idk how to fix it :[

I am sick for like the third time this winter.

First I got a cold.

Then the cough never went away and a couple weeks later I ordered some n95 masks when I realized that the basement room I was clearing out has giant black mold areas on the carpet. The cough went away after a few days of not going in there.

And now, maybe a couple weeks later, I get sick within a matter of hours. Constantly running nose, coughing. Hoping that it's just a cold or even the flu because pneumonia has been going around and I really do not want to deal with that 💀

The final battle against King Boo in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon has 5 phases: battle phase 1, pursuit phase 1, battle phase 2, pursuit phase 2, and battle phase 3. The pursuit phases are long hallways filled with traps that Luigi must run through while King Boo chases him, while the battle phases have Luigi actually confront King Boo.

In the files of the Luigi's Mansion Arcade, which uses high-quality versions of many Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon assets, an unused music track can be found that would have been assigned to "battle phase 4" of the fight, which can be heard in this post. While all the themes increase in tension as the battle continues, this one is even more frantic.

The existence of this theme suggests that originally, the fight was presumably meant to have 7 phases, with 4 battle phases being connected by 3 pursuit phases. This was likely considered to be too lengthy by the developers, so the last two phases were cut.

I live in Canada, where I get government disability support. They consider my ADHD and depression sufficient disability to make up my entire income. It is not high, but it's based on the needs of the individual's situation.

Canada certainly has its host of issues, but universal healthcare should be way more... universal. My dad broke his spine and (while the first doctor literally said there was nothing wrong with him and sent him home for wasting hospital time) once he got to the main hospital, they just kinda... fixed him up.

Most things are way cheaper in healthcare but take a really long time. Some, like his prosthetic leg, are both, but luckily there are many organizations around who cover things like that for people.

I have an somewhat uncommon condition in a rare location for it that went improperly diagnosed for most of my life. Years and years of going to different doctors only to find out that there was nothing they could do except a minorly effective treatment with very temporary results that I could use when it gets bad. If my parents had had to pay for all of those doctors visits and MRIs and treatments abd that surgery when I was younger, it quite literally would have put them out of house and home.

What the hell is going on in different countries such that they consider walking to be optional?

As someone with UHC insurance who once had to beg them to cover my back surgery so I wouldn't be paralyzed because being able to walk is a luxury to them. Its a good news day :)
