Sorry for not being very active lately. I’ve been a bit busy in real life and dealing with some mental health shit.

The twins enter Harvey's office with big grins and present him with a positively GIANT card shaped like a heart and covered in glitter, frills, and all sorts of pretty details. "Happy Valentine's Day, Mr. Dent!" the twins chorused, looking quite pleased. "You'll hang it up, right?"

Harvey did a double take when he saw the giant, heart-shaped card. Like he couldn't process what he was seeing. For a moment he just stared at the twins in astonishment, then he gave Selena a hug and ruffled Julius' hair.

"Are you kidding me? Of course I'll hang it up! This is the best Valentine's Day card I've ever received." Harvey said, grinning. He took the card from them and hung it on the wall, not even caring it took up most of his office wall.

Kevin exited Harvey's office, whistling a tune and tossing away an empty box of plastic wrap. Everything has been wrapped. Chair. Filing cabinet. Any items on his desk have been wrapped individually, and then his whole desk was wrapped in plastic wrap too. All in a day's work.

Harvey returned from his lunch break to find his office- everything in his office!- covered in plastic wrap. He was so shocked he nearly dropped his coffee mug on the floor. He (carefully) set it down on his plastic-wrapped desk and set off to find the culprit. It didn't take long. As he set off down the hall, he noticed a young man wearing a black t-shirt with ACAB on it. Whistling a cheerful tune. Harvey was seething.

"Oh, for fuck's sake! Do you think this is some kind of joke?!" he said, through gritted teeth.

For those who don’t know, Harvey is 25% Greek (through his father). Though he doesn’t know much about that part of his heritage. He didn’t know his Greek-American grandmother, Ari, very well, and she never spoke Greek around her grandchildren. He also didn’t inherit his father’s olive complexion. Harvey is very pale and gets sunburn every time he goes to the beach.

Harvey did as Trioson asked and closed his good eye. He was in no position to argue. Then he heard screams. Terrified, agonized, screams. It sounded like the men were being torn apart. When he opened his eye, he saw the men’s corpses- well, what was left of them- scattered all over the alley. They were barely recognizable as human anymore.

“My God, what...what are you?” Harvey gasped, instinctively taking a step back. Pressing himself against the brick wall. His heart was still racing, and he was shaking a little. He considered his friend a bit eccentric and odd, sure, but he’d never suspected he was anything other than human. Until now. Now Harvey felt a bit stupid for not putting the pieces together sooner.

The dinner went well. Better than expected, even. It was shaping up to be the end of a perfect evening when…four men suddenly barged into the restaurant, and their leader was armed. Goddamnit! Is this really happening? Harvey thought. He wanted to interject that they were not dating, but now was not the time for cute remarks.

Harvey laughed nervously and forced on a smile. “It appears so. What a shame.”

He got up from his chair and followed Trioson and the group out of the restaurant. He was silent all the way there, but did his best to stay calm. His expression was blank. Unreadable.

“I feel much better. Better than I have in a long time.” Harvey admitted. He leaned back in his chair, content to watch Calondra wash dishes and bustle about the kitchen. Listening to her hum a cheerful tune relaxed him. He felt safe here, welcome. Nostalgic for a place he’d never been.

“So, is there a partner in your life? Or do you live alone?” he asked, trying to make conversation. He hoped he wasn’t prying, but he was curious. There was no sign anyone else lived here. He found it hard to believe a woman as caring and kindhearted as Calondra could be single.

(What Happened to Monday Starters) At first, Harvey hesitated. Like he wasn't quite sure what to say. Then he decided to hell with it and tried anyway.

"I...I understand." he began, his voice shaking a little. "I know how shitty families can be. My dad was, well...he was a lot of things." Something in his eyes darkened. There was a brief flash of pain. Fear. "But this isn't about my daddy issues. And it's not about me." he cleared his throat.

They were sitting at their usual table in the library. It was late. Almost all the other students had left, and it was almost closing time.

"Is there anything I can do for you, Mary? Anything at all?" He asked, almost pleadingly. He hated how pathetic he sounded. You're better than this, Harv. What happened to the strong, supportive, man of the house? he scolded himself. "Because I want to help you. Really, I do." And he meant it.

Try as he might, he couldn't stop eyeing the pool table in the corner of the room. "Well, I'm going to try my hand at pool. You're welcome to join me." He said, getting up from their booth and walking off toward the table.
