From the beginning of WEAVERS: A GothamX Spin Off

When I was little, my mother read to me that we all have these tiny fires inside us.

My mother genuinely believed it; that every single one of us have these balls of light for souls.

She called herself a free spirit, my father called her a silly hippie and she would just laugh and say, “No James, I’m a ray of fucking sunshine.”

On days like today, I really miss them both, especially my mother.

She radiated golden light and warmth into any and all spaces she occupied.

Lily Deveraux was perfect and I’m not just saying that because she was my mother.

Beautiful with her copper hair that favors dancing flames.

Plus 2 lines because I worked hard to get passed this wave of writers block to get this new project started.

Earthy brown eyes that ease and relax those who peer into them.

Fair skin and a petite figure.

I’m 1.1k words into my new WIP and I can’t wait to get further in.
