Sitting and staring - but not judging. #1

This story almost went somewhere totally different.

But now he is sitting there - and stares at me. Again. He’s doing that a lot lately.

More precisely since he died in November.

We didn’t hold a funeral, because Sinatra said, that wasn’t his “style” ... and he was more of that “I do it my way”- type of person anyways.

So we just spent two pain- and tearfull and neverending hours in a cold little church, trying hard to comprehend the reason of that spectacle going on.

But I personally, cannot, to this very day.

Even tho or maybe precisely because he is sitting here.

And staring.

But not judging.

Disturbing midnight thoughts:

Sometimes I catch my self wishing I would fit more into "beauty standards", that I don't have to purely rely on my brain to be "successful" in life.

Those are deeply wrong, out of context and painful thoughts.

How can a girl or human being at all think about stuff like that.

Because we see it. Every day. Everywhere. Media and the figures in it are trolling us. Into a despaired and confused struggle to become a self that we are not.

I always thought I know what I wanna be. I learned to break the " what am I" and "what do I want from life" to a lower level and already figured out quite a lot of stuff.

I just feel like that it's never enough.

Whole generations are talking about anxiety and depression as main topics.

We don't feel ourselves anymore.

Older generations say we're softies and are just not able to handle it.

Might be true. Might as well be an information overflow we are not able to comprehend.

For me, in everything I do I feel like I'm missing out on information. Nothing is ever complete or done because I might have not seen and thought through every option.

It's devastating. It's despairing. It's life?

Focus on not focusing too much.

Don't make up a complicated path to find the easiest way.

I know sometimes you have to do things you don't like in order to reach your goals.

But the one thing I will never do again is to lock myself up in something that is not related to any passion of mine.

I am my own beauty standard.

My fashion is passion.
