This method of recycling truly pushes the limits. Plastic bottles are cut into a "string" in one continuous strand. It works similar to a sharpener where depending on the slit size, the end result will differ in thickness.
There is also a demonstration on how to make the metal platform.

This goes to show how far curiosity can implement a person to take action just from inspiration all around, in this case simply reading a fact written inside the Snapple cap.

A great and clever to test whether one has truly designed a marketable product that speaks to a brand, in this case Ikea.

Design problem:
The rings in 3 ring binders often reach the papers tensile breaking point. The metal rings are too harsh and cut right through the paper when flipping the pages carelessly.
When used heavily, the front cover tends to split off the binder edge and is left hanging.

" An arduino board acts as a controller for sensors located in an inner layer of foil. In response to these invisible sensors and the data they collect, the arduino board tells the top layer of foil how to react. The top layer of foil is connected to small wheels, making it easy to smoothly crumple and stretch its surface. Users have expressed many different thoughts over the project, from finding it cute to comparing it to a primitive animal."

The good old compass from geometry class. All I remember is getting pricked on my fingers many times with this tool.I think its about time there should be another solution to making the perfect circle without pricking ourselves and making wholes in the paper.
