Transformers Animated is the main reason I proudly call myself a member of a TF fandom. And when it comes to pairings I like reading stories about and etc. - I am a true TFA BlitzBee and TFA MegOp believer.
But... TFA MegaBee is my personal guilty pleasure XD
I swear, guys, this ship has potential, phaha, don't throw tomatoes at me. Also, yes, it is not the last pic of Bumbler and Megs coming from me, I have some plans XD.
P.S. It all began as a joke of switching characters in earlier mentioned pairings. And now it is a crackpairing I treat absolutely seriously, ha. Even drew the "scene" which takes place in a lil side story of mine about these two silly geese.
P.P.S. I associate several songs with this duo, one of them is called "Suffer Well" by Depeche Mode, I think it suits the narrative of a chemistry between two bots pretty well)).
I thought of participating (at least in some way) in a well known Chinese tradition - celebration of the beginning of a New Year with lanterns of different shapes and forms (hanging, flying and floating ones, you name it). And since it is a Year of a Dragon and I'm in a JCA fanart era,.. you knew I had to draw my beloved Shendu)).
It is said that some lanterns bear symbols of good fortune on them while others may have riddles being hidden in their design.
"As a tradition of Chinese Lantern Festival, guessing lantern riddles is as important as eating dumplings on the day. The custom is a unique form of Chinese folk culture, showcasing people's good wishes for the new year and inspiring wisdom."
So, I had an idea to use a Sign of Fire from the second season of a show instead of traditional symbols, since Pan'ku Box was a puzzle to be solved and fire is an essential part of any existing lantern (and it is Shendu's elemental power, after all) )).
Hope you'll enjoy this picture, I had lots of fun working on it.
This is a mixed media art, you will find the part I drew in a traditional way under the cut. You can actually see how huge my eraser looks next to it, haha, but damn, do I love drawing miniatures.
"Demon Sorcerer of Fire turned beast or not, I'll light you up just as easily."
When you are dealing with projects done for an AU of an existing title, be it a book or a movie, one needs to know the context of changes done in that AU in order to fully appreciate a published work. Hence why it is advised to upload said works in a correct order.
Which I certainly am not doing when it comes to a Jackie Chan Adventures fandom, hah (khm). But I will give all needed information with future updates.
I will admit, this work was partially created for a reason to see Tarakudo in such a pose (look at that almost manic glee in his eyes). But what can I say, I enjoy putting characters in different scenarios and see if such situations would work or not.
Here you can see a potential course of events taking place in an altered fourth season of a show. Idea behind a scene: what if Tarakudo got in possession of Power of Combustion, or rather, the elemental power of fire itself which Shendu (his enemy) is a rightful owner of as one of Demon Sorcerers?
The only thing I have ever contributed to an Ergo Proxy fandom were two sketches on a blackboard made around 4 years ago. Which is a shame because this anime is an absolute pinnacle of its genre and has had my undying loyalty since my very first view of it (for more then 10 years by this point).
Here you can see an Entourage-type AutoReiv called Kristeva. An android-companion of Raul Creed, Director-General of the Citizen Security Bureau. The development of this duo dynamic was an intriguing one to observe and both of these characters are certainly one of my personal favorites from that amazing anime.
Fun Fact: AutoReiv Kristeva is named after a Bulgarian-French philosopher known as Julia Kristeva.
P.S. This is sort of a mixed media art. You can see an original image I drew on paper under the cut. Angle the photo was taken under is not the best one but oh well, it was done in order to show a scale of actual canvas I am working with.
This drawing was lying in a pile sketches for almost two years. But. I'd say it is a good thing I didn't finish it back then, for I got a better vision of a final look of a pic this week)).
Here you can see the one and only Shan Yu "disguised" as a mute Hun everyone addresses as Jing (if you are interested in a full explanation of this fact, search for #mulan related works on my page). Or, he was, until one day the Chinese family he stays with gained such a level of trust from him, that he finally decided to begin to communicate with them normally. One can easily imagine a shock on characters' faces and Shan Yu seems to be questioning his decisions, haha. He doesn't blame them... but it's not like he grew up a second head, right XD ?
P.S. The idea of a haircut was suggested by a friend of mine.
