This boy is Spencer. He is my child, and I both want to show trans struggles through him, yet I also don’t want to make him go through what I do on a day to day basis.

This scene at the end of the first book was just such an emotional rollercoaster. From Volta to the firefighters. But I can’t imagine the robe Goddard was wearing when he got decapitated to not be bloodied around the neck.

I love how Rowan’s journal page where he mentioned he thinks he’s becoming a monster like Goddard burns in the fireplace. And later after he assumes Goddard, Rand, and Chomsky have been burnt to ashes is the moment he sees himself as “the monster of monsters”.

I actually can’t shut up about this book series. I got the idea to draw this whole listening to St Chroma on repeat.

Monster sona?!

I’ve been seeing this all over TikTok so obviously I made one.

He’s a little ragdoll. Originally it was meant to be more like Frankenstein’s monster type thing, but then I liked the idea of his body parts being from all sorts of different cloths, like some old dolls my grandma had, which she did have to sew together again when someone (me usually) ripped them.

So he’s clumsy and he’s not the best as sewing.

This is actually becoming a problem, I’ve started reading other things but I think of this series at least once a day.

Anyways here’s Goddard’s return, where I was so shocked I had to take a break and make some tea in the middle of reading.

Fun fact: I think about this specific scene so often!! The fact he’s got Tyger’s voice haunts every dialogue from him here on out!

Also when I did this I remember that when I looked through the AU that the twins were usually dressed very adult-like or overall looked older, so this was me trying to make them still look twelve and have clothes appropriate for 12 year olds, and hope I did them and the OG au justice.

Art blog

I TikTok which is gui._.hen. And an instagram under the same user but I’m getting rid of my instagram because of the fact any post made will be used to train AI and they removed the opt out option. I haven’t posted there since that guideline came into place, but I’ve been putting off deleting everything on there until I knew where to move to.

I’m relatively inexperienced with tumblr, I’ve had blogs before but mostly just of head cannons and to yap away on.

I will add fandoms on the tags of this once I’ve posted art of those fandoms, this will probably be a pinned post for a while, if I can figure out how to do that.
