(Loosely inspired by this post and my tired brain wildly misinterpreting the title)
Danny has been the acting king of the infinite realms for about a year, and while he should complain about the sheer number of evil people trying to get him to wipe out humanity, he’s honestly just… so fucking bored. It’s so repetitive, he’s practically following a script. He can’t even be that mad anymore because at a certain point he just expects to be asked for something unbelievably evil, or stupidly mundane, like “kill this superhero” (which he’s not doing) or “make me a god” (which he can’t). All he wants is for a little change to the script— and, one night, he finds inspiration through the form of a YouTube video.
It was easier to set up than he expected. Turns out, Phantom’s Castle— formerly Pariah’s Keep— has a ton of large, empty rooms, perfect for repurposing into a studio. Plus, all of the skeletons were eager for a new task, and took to setting up a tv studio like a ghost fish to ectoplasm. Reworking his summoning spell to have his summoners brought to him instead was a bit trickier, but a few borrowed books on the topic from Ghost Writer (as well as a few promised favors in exchange) made the process pretty painless. He even made sure that none of his summoners would be able to leave the studio, just in case they got a little too curious about the ghost zone. Plus, Danny would be the show’s host. No one in their right mind would try to escape under the watchful eye of the king.
The show was simple: three people who attempted to summon Danny from three different points in time would compete for the chance to make a request of him. The game always changes, so even if a summoner came on the show a second time, they wouldn’t have any advantage over the other contestants. In just a few short months, Ghost Changer became the most popular show in the Infinite Realms.

Danny: oh right— to be clear, it’s not literal hell, I just call it that cause every time I go there I get the shit beaten out of me by some friends of mine. Your mom’s great, she’s thriving, everyone loves her 🥰
Superman *still on the brink of tears but for different reasons*: your friends regularly beat the shit out of you??😰😰😰
Dc x Dp prompt #1
Danny open a YouTube channel teaching how to cook.
Bonus point : During the live, the food came to life. And he had to fight the food while chats were watching him.

DC crossover prompt
Lex Luthor is preparing several different plans to take down Superman. The first plan involves opening a variety of teaset and fine china stores in order to use kryptonite-laced paint in their production, slowly killing Superman whenever he walks by a china shop. Another of these plans involves specially trained bulls. Most of the time, the bulls are completely calm, however they have been trained to chase after and attack any red and blue flying objects. His other plans involve a fabric store, camera drones, a color blind acapella group, Mr. Mxysptlk’s hat, a sweater vest, and a tub of lard. If one plan fails, then he has a surplus of backups.
Lex Luthor is certain that nothing can go wrong.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Olsen is getting ready to be visited by his many-times-removed-cousin, Milo Murphy

Bruce: I’m not six, I’m eight!
Danny: oh, really? Then why aren’t you taller?
Bruce: >:(
An eight year old Bruce Wayne summons Danny (who is 14 at the time, mind you) in the Wayne family manors attic.
Danny: please don't be a cultist please don't be a cultist please don't be a-
Danny:
Danny: That's a child. Why is there a child?
Bruce who honestly didn't expect his great great great great nth grandparents weird ass spellbook bullshit to work: [squinting at Danny in scrutiny] I thought the King of the Dead would be…taller.
Danny: Oh great and now I'm being insulted by a six year old. It's like Young Blood all over again, just more posh. And alive.

My brother has reminded me that Superman himself would be like two doors down, listening to the heartbeats of the people around him like he does, seeing Jimmy walk into the break room, and then he just hears voop and Jimmy’s heartbeat is just gone
He knows Jimmy’s not dead, since a heartbeat makes certain sounds depending on cause of death, he just knows Jimmy’s no longer anywhere on earth, which is Concerning
He also hears the heartbeat of the other person in the break room spike, which is So Much More Concerning
Jazz becomes the copyboy at the Daily Planet. She thought her job would just entail normal copyboy actives.
Instead 90% of her job was going on absolutely buckwild adventures with Jimmy Olsen

Contrary to what everyone in the office placed their bets on, it was actually Jazz that caused their first adventure together. Not intentionally, of course. She just wanted to check in on her brother.
During her first lunch break, Jazz had decided to call her brother, just to check up on him. She only moved to metropolis a few days ago, and hadn’t had time to reach out and ask how things were back home in Amity. Plus, if her little brother had any trouble with uncooperative ghosts, or mom and dad being a bit too eager to try out their new ghost-tracking weapons while forgetting— again— that Danny is half ghost, or if he just needed her there, it wouldn’t be hard to just pop over for a few minutes.
She had a special “instant ghost zone teleporter” installed into her phone (courtesy of Tucker and Technus) that would send her to the area of the zone closest to the portal in the house. It even puts the user into a ghost zone safe suit upon arrival, so there’s zero risk of ang ecto contamination while there. After exiting the portal, the suit just folds back up and into the phone. If she presses a different button, the teleporter sends her right back to where she started. The teleporter was honestly the biggest reason she felt okay moving so far away for college.
She felt a lot better about the whole thing as she spoke to Danny, who seemed to be doing a lot better than she expected. As he raved about how he found out he could fly past the clouds to stargaze at night, she felt a weight lift off of her shoulders. Danny was okay, and she felt comfortable letting her guard down and trusting that he would stay okay. When the conversation ended, Jazz placed her phone on the table by her bag, and walked over to the fridge to get her food.
Unfortunately, she did not realize that Jimmy Olsen had left his phone on that same table earlier, and that her phone looks an awful little like his. Jimmy, who coincidentally walked in the moment Jazz turned her back, picked up the first phone he saw on the table, and pressed what he thought was the power button.
Jazz turned around just in time to see a portal to the ghost zone open up directly below Jimmy Olsen’s feet.
Jazz becomes the copyboy at the Daily Planet. She thought her job would just entail normal copyboy actives.
Instead 90% of her job was going on absolutely buckwild adventures with Jimmy Olsen

Spy vs Spy shenanigans that somehow don’t effect the timeline in any way shape or form
Like their back and forth spreads around the city but they’re both careful to be juuuust out of sight so they don’t change anything they don’t personally want changed
@stealingyourbones mentioned in a post I just saw that Booster Gold could be used in a DPxDC fic related to Clockwork bc they’re both invoked in time travel stuff and omg yES I have ideas now
Feel free to use any/all of these, just tag me!
1. Booster Gold being in the present is good for the timeline, but he wants to go back to the future. Clockwork sends Danny to sabotage the time machine. Shenanigans ensue. The JL thinks Danny’s a villain until a massive attack happens, Booster Gold is very much crucial to saving the day, and afterwards Danny shows up with a perfectly intact time machine (he fixed all the damages he caused while they were fighting the villain) and goes “ok now you can go home! :)” and the JL is so confused. Dealer’s choice if they get an explanation and maybe even ask Phantom to join the JL or if Danny just vanishes, never to be seen again
2. Booster Gold wants to change something in the timeline. Clockwork needs it to stay the same. Danny and BG go back and forth trapping each other in various situations (maybe it’s comedic what they end up trapped in) until one of them gives up
3. BG and Danny actually know each other in the future. Knowing how OP Danny is and knowing he’s an active hero rn, BG keeps trying to get the JL to recruit Phantom. The JL keeps refusing (“that’s a KID Booster we can’t put a kid in the JL”) until like Vortex or someone shows up and wreaks havoc and the JL is floundering and barley hanging in there and Danny shows up and beats him in like two seconds flat. The JL just kinda goes “ok, maybe Booster had a point”
4. BG, being a time cop, and Danny, being Clockwork’s personal equivalent of a time cop, keep running into each other in various situations (usually bc Clockwork sends Danny to help BG whenever he’s in over his head). But they keep meeting out of order, not even realizing that Danny’s from the time BG ends up staying in until they run into each other on a normal, non-time related mission. Spider-man meme pointing at each other, “what are YOU doing here???”, “is there some time-related issue on top of this?”, JL confused why Booster and a random overpowered teen they just met today seem to know each other. (Their meeting in their normal time is after all the meeting out of order shenanigans. After that point, they stay together for time missions that Clockwork sends Danny to join BG on; he makes sure they meet in the right order this time.)
5. Booster and Clockwork hate each other. Danny is a big fan of BG. Shenanigans ensue
6. Danny and BG hate each other. Clockwork needs them to get along for the sake of the timeline. He keeps sending Danny to BG’s time cop missions. Will they ever make up?
7. Danny and BG are the same age and start dating. Clockwork sends them on fancy fun time travel dates
8. BG keeps running into this random kid in various places in the time stream. He only ever tells BG that “Clockwork sent me” and BG is getting more and more determined to find whoever Clockwork is and kick his ass for putting this poor precious kid in harm’s way. Hell, BG might just end up adopting this poor kid himself if that’s what it takes to save him… which is exactly what Clockwork wants
9. BG is incredibly surprised when his time mentor, Clockwork, reaches out and asks him to adopt a kid, Danny
10. BG and Clockwork are dating. Clockwork asks BG if he’s okay with adopting Danny
I can come up with more if y’all want! Please tag me if you use these I wanna see what you create :)

Ok but you know how sometimes streamers will go to cons and tell their fans to say hi to them there? What if Danny goes to a con in Fawcett, one that Billy had already been planning on going to. They bump into each other, and Billy just blurts out, “hey, do you know you’re possessed?”
And Danny, without missing a beat, just says, “haha yeah, I guess it does kinda look like that” and walks away into another room before processing the conversation he just had.
Danny leaves the con a little early, just in case.
Meanwhile, Billy can’t tell if he understands more or less about the situation
Stream’s haunted
Danny randomly decides to try becoming a streamer, and gradually gains a decent following.
Among those viewers is a younger hero, who happens to tune into a stream while waiting around after a meeting. A member of the Justice League Dark sees the stream over their shoulder, and immediately freezes in shock.
They can tell that an Infinite Realms ghost—and a powerful one at that—is currently inhabiting the streamer’s body.
What the fuck do they even do in this situation??

The Teen Titans:
Tumblr media
They win the fight and put the bird in the cage but dear god it should not have been that close
Also I’m just imagining Raven taking a close look at the sigils used to summon the pigeon and very slowly figuring out the exact spells used to try and determine why a pigeon was sent in place of the king. A few days later she wakes up in a cold sweat, realizing exactly how all of those spells would interact with each other, and, more importantly, just who the pigeon is.
By that point, Mr. Violent Beak the pigeon has become somewhat of a team mascot, and is actually quite enjoying himself
DPxDC Prompt #8
Danny was practicing shapeshifting with Amorpho when he felt the tug of a summoning and heard the distant words drifting into his mind.
Normally Danny would just ignore it. Or if it seems like this was a group that needed some sense scared into them, he'd shift into his Horror form and terrify them into never pulling this shit again. But then he heard them mention live sacrifices, and Danny just had to step in before that happened. So he let the summoning pull him on through, briefly forgetting he was shapeshifted into a... less than ideal form.
Danny lands in the circle right on top of one of the intended sacrifices, a group of people in weird outfits and, is that guy green? Irrelevant. Immediately Danny on knows something is very wrong. His powers feel muted and far away. His form suddenly feels, locked somehow.
He casts his gaze across the summoning circle and, to his horror, recognizes the binding ritual. These cultists wanted to bind and seal him in one of these mortal's bodies after they were sacrificed. But they fucked up the spell. Or maybe Danny fucked it up by coming in too soon? Irrelevant again.
What matters is the spell went sideways. Instead of locking Danny into one of the sacrifice's bodies, it locked him into his own form while pulling most of his abilities just out of reach. Now he's here. In the shape of- He's stuck as-
"Dude, is that a pigeon? Did the Ghost King, like, send you to voicemail?"

Somehow, against all odds, every single cultist gets to say
Tumblr media
And afterwords Danny just starts walking away, vaguely in the direction of where Amity Park probably is. Pigeons have homing instincts, so he’s just gonna trust his gut on this one.

It’s been long enough since the last chapter that I feel the need to say that I am not, in fact, abandoning LBM vacation, I’m just in my final year of college and it is kicking my ass
In related news I’m writing a novella about superhero with burnout and you’ll never guess what I accidentally named her

What if he was still physically stronger than them, but he just lacks the technical skills?
The others aren’t technically honing their skills for a fight, much less a physical one, meanwhile Danny hit the ground running towards ghosts he wants to introduce to his fists
Sort of like each of them chose to spec into their specific interests, and become experts/gods of their craft, meanwhile Danny is more of a Jack of trades, so he can pull out some wildly unexpected shit in a fight
The reason he wins in a fight against his friends and siblings is because they’re playing chess and he’s eating the pieces
I've seen a lot of people writing Danny as a space ancient and Dan and Dani as ghosts with moon and sun cores, being sort of parts, versions of Danny and therefore weaker. Now, consider: Dan and Dani are both powerful ghosts with really cool cores and stuff but Danny is just some guy™
Dan, who came from an alternate timeline and is kind of from the future but also not, is Clockwork's apprentice and will eventually become an ancient of time. He probably only agreed to have some lessons with Clockwork to understand better what happened to him, but he enjoys his apprenticeship now.
Dani, with her love of travelling, loves seeing all the different places the world offers to her, and that includes space and different planets and maybe even parallel universes, and she accidentally ends up being an apprentice of the space ancient. For now she's probably a baby ancient of freedom or something like that, but she might become an ancient of space in the future.
We can also have something like Dan having a core of destruction or Dani being the Speed Force if you want it to be dcxdp, or any headcanon of yours about their cool powers.
And then there's Danny. And yeah, everyone knows that he's super powerful, but also he's just some guy.
It can go different routes. Does everyone know that Danny is just Danny? Or do they think that with siblings (well, technically a clone and an alternate version, but whatever) so powerful, he must be even stronger? Is Danny actually something terrifyingly eldritch and ancient and strong, almost a god, but he just doesn't know himself? Or is he just really some guy?
Now, because it's obvious that I have a dcxdp brainrot, have a regular "JL summons/meets a powerful ghost" but its Dan and Dani, and they keep mentioning their original/brother who won a fight against them at some point. The JL is very concerned about Dan and Dani's godlike powers, and they can't imagine what Danny is like. And then they meet him (in his human form), and it's just a young adult in casual clothes, very friendly and helpful, with no evident powers. Imagine the confusion. Imagine Dan and Dani, radiating power, in their eldritch ghost forms, admitting that fighting Danny for real is the dumbest thing to do and not even they would succeed... And then there's Danny is jeans and silly t-shirt, waving shyly.

Ooo I’m gonna make this worse! :D
Let’s say that Harvey had been recovering quite well, and that Two Face was keeping very quiet, just long enough for Harvey to be declared sane, and go back to work. As far as anyone knows— Harvey included— Two Face simply just… doesn’t exist anymore. Sure, he still has the scars, but he’s taken to covering them up during the workday, and has even scheduled plastic surgery. He believes Two Face will simply be a thing of the past
That is, until the case of Fentons v. Bruce Wayne
When he sees the boy’s face, half of which is burnt off in the same places as his own… Harvey blacks out
And Two Face wakes up
Saw a short from YouTube on that animated scene of Harvey getting splashed by acid and there will be no "hear me out" On this one. You will listen.
Court case: Fentons vs Bruce Wayne on who gets to keep Danny after Bruce finds out about the... Things they did to Danny. Fenton's Defense? a ghost is in their son's skin. Clearly bullshit, right?
Well unfortunately the Fenton's didn't think so.
In true Harvey Dent fashion, they splash the kid's face with blood blossoms concentrated water and Bruce gets PTSD 2.0
Bonus if Harvey was somehow the lawyer💀
