CHAPTER 14 SNEAK PEAK:

"What a night," Hannah sighed, "are all of you guys sleeping here tonight?" she inquired.

"I dunno, am I?" Andy flirted wrapping his arm around her.

"Of course," she leaned into him. My stomach twisted at the thought that this was the life that Sky was living before I came back into her life.

"So that leaves my guest room and the couch," she laughed.

"If you guys want the guest room, I could just take Sky back home,"

"Harry, you can't bring her to her parent's house like that," Hannah gestured to Sky already half asleep on my shoulder.

"Erm, no I mean, my house," I forgot that she may not have told Hannah that she's been living with me since I came back. It's just a natural habit to call it home.

"She basically lives there again, eh?" Hannah smirked. She was being hard to read. I can't tell if she's upset with me. I guess I haven't really had a great chance to layout and show her my intentions for her best friend. Hannah has always been protective.

"I wouldn't want her anywhere else," I pulled Sky slightly closer to me and Hannah's eyes narrowed slightly.

"Mhm," she seemed sceptical.

"I'm in love with her, Hannah," I spoke slowly and assuringly, "you've got to know that. You know I bought that house for her."

"I'm not saying you don't, all I'm saying is I don't want to have to drive to Boston again when she's back in school to find her on her bathroom floor freaking out so bad that she thinks she's going to die because you guys broke up."

I suddenly became hyper-aware of the fact that the other people in the room with us could possibly have ill intentions. When I'm with Sky she just makes me feel like myself, as opposed to Harry Styles the celebrity. Therefore, I forgot that these people might take advantage of the situation we are in right now.

"You say that, but with all due respect you didn't see my half of our breakup, and I would rather talk about this in private with you. So, I'm going to bring Skylar home and we can talk about this another time when you're sober." I scooped up a very sleepy Sky and carried her out the door to my car.

Hannah has no business talking about my personal life like that in front of complete strangers. Next thing I know one of them is going to go sell some fabricated story to the press about Sky and I. I need to do whatever I can to protect her so if that means being a bit short to her best friend then I will deal with the consequences.
