Fourth teaser for my fanfic.

Hi everyone. I will make this short. After this teaser I will post a link to the first three chapters of my fanfic on AO3 🤗.

I took out some parts as to not spoil the plot, but I hope in the meantime you will enjoy this next snipper of my story:

“Feeling like you can relax?” A mysterious voice came over from her window. Zoey immediately sat up straight, all feeling of ease vanishing from within her. In the window there stood a tall man leaning on the frame with his arms crossed. In the morning light she could see a familiar face. It was Abby looking at her with a look she couldn't quite decipher.

“What do you want? Did you come to do your business? Cause I can tell you right now I wont make it easy.” She said as she stood up and summoned her blades ready to throw them at any second.

Abby put his hands up as if to show he was no threat. Zoey didn’t believe that for a second. 

“Im asking you again. What do you want?” she said with a more stern voice now, and Abby mockingly laughed.

“I guess I overestimated you. You're not as quick as I thought.” He said and started moving towards her. Zoey didn't know what he meant and planned to waste no time figuring it out. Now she had the advantage. She was at her full strength and didn't hesitate for a second. She launched herself at the disgusting demon in front of her ready to deal a finishing blow. Ready to send him where he belonged.

She stopped mid way. Not because she wanted to. In fact she wanted nothing more than to move forward and strike him down, but she couldn't. Her body felt as if it was paralyzed. She didn't feel her limbs and couldn't move them as well. What was this? The ominous cloud swarmed around her. Zoey struggled, but couldn't get out of it. She heard a hearty laugh.

“You really thought you could attack me?” He said and snapped his fingers. Zoey felt her body getting lighter and started to feel her limbs again. Her weapons disappeared. She didn’t have the advantage she thought she did. She gritted her teeth in anger, her mind racing.

What could she do? What did he want? How can she get rid of him? Does he plan to get rid of her? She didnt know. Why did he come here in the first place? She tried to figure out all these things in her head, however she couldn't find any answer. 

While she was stuck in her own head, Abby took the advantage and approached her from behind. He grabbed her by the neck and breathed quietly. Fuck. The cold breath freezing her and making her shiver. She felt his face getting closer to her neck and closed her eyes in anticipation.

“Ugh..thats so disgusting. You reek.” said Abby with disgust and let her go harshly. Zoey spun around so she could face the demon properly, but her confused look remained on her face. She tried to process what the demon said, yet she somehow couldn't wrap it around her head.

“Excuse me?” she said with an offended tone. She didn't know what to address first. “I reek? What do you mean? What the- Where do you even get the audacity to come here and say stuff like that? What are you even doing here? You haven't answered any of my questions.” she said trying to sound intimidating, however they both knew she was not the one with the power here. 

“Would you believe me if I said I just stopped cause I was bored?” 

“No.” Zoey said rapidly.

“Then thats the story I will be going with.” He said and a devious smirk appeared on his face. Zoey huffed in frustration.

“Look, I don't know what you want, but if you have no business with me, then go away.” she turned to head back to the living room, however she didn't realize what a mistake that was.

Third teaser for the fanfic

I have been writing non-stop for the past few days so I have so much more to show you, but I wont reveal it yet 😉.

In the meantime here is another snippet of the story:

“Zoey?” she heard a muffled voice calling her name. “Are you in there?” A knock echoed on the bathroom door.

“Yeah, yeah. Im…on a toilet right now. I will be out in a minute.” she said while trying to quietly find some foundation to cover the mark with. After she was done, she flushed the toilet just so her story will be more believable and let the water run for a minute. Afterwards, she went out where both Mira and Rumi were waiting for her. 

“How are you feeling Zoey?” Rumi rushed to her and started checking her out. Her temperature, her face, basically scanning her like a robot.

“Im fine Rumi, its really okay.” she brushed it off, but let her be close to her. She needed some people around her right now.

“You say that, but you literally passed out on the floor just a few hours ago.”

“I did, didn’t I?” Zoey said with a guilty smile.

“Yes. So no telling us that you’re fine when you’re not. Whats going on? You know you can tell us.” Rumi said as she put her arm around Zoeys shoulders.

“Yeah…its just probably cause I forgot to switch out my insulin pump. It can happen sometimes when I forget to do so and yesterday I was really too tired to do anything, so…thats probably it.” And now a fake laugh. Wow Zoey. You are such a dirty liar. I mean it is true that she forgot to change her pump and that just downed on her now, but other than that. She would feel ashamed if she didn’t feel so guilty already.

“Oh that actually makes sense. Sorry we didn’t notice it sooner.” Rumi said seemingly relieved knowing it was something not serious.

“So now you’re all good with a fresh one?” Mira asked and Zoey almost fell over. She still didn’t change it. She looked at Mira with a look that said everything and rushed back to the bathroom.

“Oh my god Zoey. I swear Im not sure what is more likely. That the demons kill you, or your forgetfulness will.” Mira sighed and pinched her nose.

What kind of mark is it? Why did Zoey pass out? What is happening?

Second teaser for my upcoming fanfic

Zoey started to get a little uneasy. Something strange was forming inside her chest. Something uncomfortable. Anticipation? Nervousness? Whatever it was, it grew. 

She felt blush forming on her cheeks when she remembered what was hiding under that beautiful hair. She had no chance. She looked away, and tried to put some distance between them, however no matter how many steps she took back, Mystery took as many forward.

“Im asking again.” She said while trying to compose herself and looked at him again. “What do you want from me? To mess with me again?” 

He looked almost motionless with only his hair moving as he breathed. Zoey couldn’t resist…she wanted to see that face again. To get a glimpse at those eyes. She felt her guard dropping down. This was not good. She took another step back, but suddenly there was no space left. She was backed against a wall. When did this even happen? She thought that the busy street was behind her. From where did this wall come from? 

Her head was swarming with thoughts. And then she felt it. A little touch on her cheek. It broke her out of her thought spiral and she looked directly at Mystery. 

He still hasn’t said a word. His right hand was holding her left cheek and she felt his cold fingers. They were inhumanly cold. 

She lost it. She must have. What was she doing? Why wasn’t she resisting? She was at a loss for words and at the same time wanted to say so many things at once.

He leaned over to her and she tried to bury her head deep into her shoulders. She closed her eyes and tensed up again. 

“Be careful.” He whispered and she felt his cold breath in her ear. It sent shivers down her spine. 

“What do you...” she wanted to ask, but it was in vain. Because there was nobody to answer. Just a pink smoke slowly moving along with the wind. As he appeared, he disappeared. No sound, no signal, no warning.

Zoey fell to her knees. She didnt realize how the stress was pent up in her and only now did she allow herself to ease up. 

What the hell just happened?

Opinion on my fanfic? Should I continue? Its a slow burn one so be patient with me.

Here is a peek into what Im working on:

How could she have been so careless. She scolded herself internally but then froze in shock. Where were the girls? Were they okay? Rumi? Mira? She tried to scream but all she managed was to open her mouth in desperation. No voice came out. What was this? Where was she? How did this happened? All the possible scenarios swarmed her mind and she couldn’t seem to get it under control. The voices in her head were so loud it almost seemed like her mind was gonna explode. 

She struggled once more, but all she could manage was to roll herself over and on her chest. Even worse position than she was before. The voices kept on shouting and yelling at her.

So careless. So dumb. How could she let her guard down like that? Was this the kind of hunter she was? Was she all this powerless? Help… Help… I don’t know what to do.

“Help…” She whispered as her raspy voice escaped her mouth. She felt a single tear rolling down her cheek. She felt so alone…and helpless…

“Wow.” She heard snickering behind her. “Was that all it takes to bring the mighty hunters to tears?” The mocking voice came from a small figure standing somewhere behind her, but she still couldn’t see anything. 

With her last strength she tried to roll over on her back, but sudden weight landed on her nearly knocking her breath out of her lungs. She tried to gasp for air, but all she felt was the pressure between the floor and the figure sitting on her.

“No point in struggling mortal. You wont be able to get out of this.” The voice came closer to her ear and she felt the cold breath. She recognized this voice and thats what made her tense up even more.

How was this possible? Whats going on? Is this just a nightmare? It must be. There is no other way to explain it. No other way he could be here.

The husky voice laughed and got off of her as she was finally able to see the face in front of her. Not because there was suddenly any light present. No. It was because of those yellow glowing eyes she couldn’t forget. She would never forget.
