GoFundMe Official Launch
I have officially launched the GoFundMe needed for me to attend SVA and secure housing. All funds will go towards my education. If you can't donate, spread awareness and share it with your friends! All help is appreciated, as I would love to escape my toxic home and complete my education:
Any minimum donation helps, and if you want a sweet incentive, also check out my TeePublic and Redbubble pages so you can get a cool design too. All proceeds go to my college fund!
Thank you and God bless.

TeePublic Launch
Before I will be releasing my GoFundMe, I decided to make a TeePublic page to sell all kinds of goofy T-shirts, designs and wacky stickers I can create from the top of my noodle. Plus, It can serve as an extra scratch for my savings to college.

GoFundMe possibility...
I’m currently in the works of setting up a GoFundMe page for my tuition at SVA to be partially funded; set to launch this Friday. I was approved for a single room to be accommodated for me but with housing plus tuition costs being very huge, it’s going to take a lot of work and saving up for me to attend there. I’m hoping to raise enough so that I can dorm there but let’s pray it all goes smoothly.

Accepted Students Day
I had a great time during SVA’s Accepted Students Day. It was absolutely marvelous getting the grand tour of the 3D animation facilities; it’s absolutely spectacular! It’s pretty much a built in animation studio in a school curriculum. I could practically live there and I hope so if I can acquire the necessary funds to dwindle down my unmet costs.

Ownward to SVA
It's been official!
I was awarded a scholarship for the School of Visual Arts. I never believed that in my entire life, I would actually be awarded anything, let alone a scholarship. There's still so much more expense that I have to go through. But I prey that I can pull it through.
See you all in NYC!

The "Rough Character Design" book Stephen Silver recently released has finally arrived. Although I was too late for the Kickstarter, it was available to purchase and I took that opening to buy it.
I am in awe of the gorgeous concept work for Clerks, Kim Possible and especially; Danny Phantom, one of the greatest Nickelodeon shows off all time! Splendid advice made, Mr. Silver. I can really learn a lot from it.

A Brand New Year: A Brand New Way of Life
Happy Belayed New Years everyone! It's time I start the new year with a more positive outlook and hopes for me in the future. I recently finished my Financial Aid for SVA animation school and am still awaiting the letter but you'll hear me go goofy at times in future posts.
Ciao.

SVA: A new learning venture - Decisions, Decisions
For the beginning notion of this blog where I ramble on and on about geeky and goofy stuff and more, I'd figure before I start the upcoming new year with my babble, to talk about my serious decisions.
A few months ago, I took the chance of applying to SVA a.k.a. The School of Visual Arts. I enjoyed their Open House programs and their campus tours and was in love with the school and wanted to be a part of it.
The bad news is: I was rejected for Animation BFA cuz of too many applicants.
The good news is: They want to offer me the 3D Animation BFA program instead because they loved my work.
After considerable thought, I decide to take the position because making cartoons regardless of the mediums was what I wanted to do. And even though I always prefer 2D, I wanted to be the "jack of all trades" artists and make cartoons my way. Plus it would be beneficial for me career wise with more job opportunities.
And I haven't had much luck job hunting for 2D animation positions so thats a start.
The most throbbing question is the expense cuz I am very poor and I can apply for financial aid and might qualify for scholarship, but who knows. I haven't gotten the offer letter yet but I will play by ear and only time will tell.
Peace out, dudes!
