My name is Hayley, and I am an artist, and a super huge DnD nerd! I love drawing fantasy characters. Enjoy my online sketchbook! • Ko-fi • Commissions • Etsy Shop •
Did another today just for fun! I got a warforged fighter who is very well read. I named him Dewey after the library filing system, and decided he was originally built for fighting (and is very good at it) but he’s discovered he likes books and study far more than he does fighting. He’s adventuring to earn enough money to settle down somewhere and take up his true passion of being a cranky old book hoarder. Or a librarian, if they would hire him. Here he is recharging against a tree. His battery ran out mid-book, and he will be mad about it when he comes to again.
I made this on Insta as a tool to come up with random D&D character prompts. I have been using it a bunch, and I thought I would upload it here too (though tumblr mobile is so disfunctional when it comes to videos, so who knows if you’ll be able to actually use it 😭)
Here’s some that I’ve done in the last month or so — not amazing art-wise, but really fun!

I was thinking about how I don’t like the Githyanki’s noses in bg3, and I came across this super cool artwork of a gith by @vorpalpen on Twitter, and had the burning urge to un-yassify Lae’zel. She’s so badass, and I think she deserves to be different kind of hot.
Still working on a post about legs, but here’s a process video that I made for Instagram! Redraw some old art with me while we honor the artists we were. 💛
I’ve had a post about anthropomorphic leg anatomy brewing, but I need the word of the people on this one.
Tell me your anthropomorphic leg woes! Show me the atrocities you have committed! (don’t worry, I’m about to do the same thing with my own atrocities) Give me body horror in the form of questionable anthro anatomy!
I started this uhm *checks watch* February of 2021. You want to know why I abandoned it? Because I didn’t want to draw Nightblood (the sword). So that’s some art reality for you.
Anyway I finished it. Because sometimes I think about the people who run the Coppermind, and I want to be helpful.
If you have no idea what Im talking about, feel free to carry on scrolling — 😅
I had the great pleasure of drawing these two sisters! They are twins and both paladins to Gond. The one with wings was tragically killed by a dragon, and her sister lives to avenge her death.
Very fun! Especially since the composition was the commissioner’s brainchild, and it turned out so awesome!
This quiz was so thought provoking! I took it for fun, fully expecting there not to be a result that resonated with me, but excuse me? I feel like I just had an accidental encounter with a wise old witch in the woods on my way to school and now I suddenly know myself and my journey better.
Any other discontent artists out there?
Discontent
You create from discontent. Most of your life has been spent being uncomfortable in your own skin. This body is just another house that's never felt like home. You don't know how to be at ease in this world or this life. Art is a way of running away, of forgetting yourself and escaping to a more comfortable place. To cope with an unhospitable reality, you create more welcoming worlds to consume your work and your waking hours. But the foundation of your art has always been your discontent with the real world and your life within it. Lurking behind the inviting scenery you dream of is the desperate desire to be anywhere but here. It is a world constructed as a respite from this one. Such vivid fantasies are the dream of one who considers reality a prison.
Machete the miserable catholic dog had me itching to draw this week, so here we are, recreating screencaps from the Hunchback of Notre Dam. Is Machete as problematic as Frollo? No. Am I taking questions? Also no.
It’s about the 🤌🏻 guilty longing 🤌🏻
Machete and Vasco both belong to the incredibly talented @canisalbus.
