Today is a good day to begin that journey, you don’t have to be 100% sure to take that leap of faith. you just have to dive in, and navigate your way through. You would learn along the way,   take it one step at a time, it will be challenging but would also get easier. You don't have to go cold turkey on junk food, however you could substitute a meal with a healthier option, and build on that,  you don't have to put in 5 hours a day to learn that skill or study for that course, you could start with 30 minutes each day. consistency has a better overall effect than you might think.

The shift I have undergone during this period is something I would like to know if it is the same for those who have undergone the same path.
Maybe I just didn't explore a lot of options previously. Was I too strict ?. I have tried more grains, plant proteins, veggies and fruits, and I must say I have noticed a difference in the way I feel, waist circumference and weight . Even though,  I wasn't intending to lose weight, I was just going for the health benefits. However, I still eat chicken and seafood from time to time. Who knows, maybe I might lose that taste completely. But I love the way I feel and I intend to continue. Well this is just to motivate you to try lots of plant based food, be open to different flavours and textures,  as long as you do not have any adverse effects or allergies. you will be fine.

I have always heard the saying “practice makes perfect”. However, while listening to a podcast I heard the speaker say “perfect practice makes perfect”. Having heard it for the first time, I decided to read up on it and well, it was quite enlightening. A combination of what I knew before and lots of new info. The saying is meant to motivate one to continue in order to attain perfection. Nonetheless, the revised version is a bit more precise on how you should do so. "Practice makes perfect" will make one believe that the more they practice the better they get. But is that really the case? Would you get better if you don't know what you are bad at? Would you improve without noting your mistakes and making a conscious effort to get better? Perfect practice doesn't mean perfection because if you were perfect, maybe there might be no need to practice. However, it entails that you must learn from your mistakes, take note of where you fall short, where and what you find difficult, listen to constructive criticism and use all this information to plan and execute a perfect practice. The more perfect you practice, the more refined your result will be and the closer you are at achieving your success. In Albert Einstein’s words “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”. so I am trying to be more aware, not in a destructive way, but in a way that improves my growth. I wish to be better than who I was yesterday and to reach this goal I have to be perfect with my practice. I hope this was a good read and hope you found it somewhat informative. Let me know what you think. Share your ideas, opinions and experiences.
