Meadow Balaclava - this pattern turned out so lovely, I'm so happy to finally show it off! It's designed to use up one 100g skein in two different colours, and has such a fun look with the alternating granny squares!

The great new year's FROG!! I love using the new year to take stock of my stash and this year I collected up some things that haven't really been getting any use in the last year, washed them and re-claimed the yarn!! Id love to do the same thing next year 😊

My Outer Wilds blanket, over a year in the making, is finally complete!! ⭐🌠🌌💛

The yarn for this project was bought with the money I was gifted by family when I completed my undergrad degree - and I've now finished my masters 😂 it's been slow going, but it's so wonderful to see it all come together now! I hope you like it 🌠

A proper catalogue post is coming with all the materials listed, but I have to immediately thank Yarnside Hand Dyed Yarn for providing the absolutely gorgeous yarns that I used for the planets - which I will happily continue to use since I only used a small amount of each here

Finally my Advent cape is finished!! My parents' local yarn shop, Alterknit Universe, have a wonderful Advent calendar where they give out a mini skein each day. Last year I combined them into this shawl and for this project I wanted to do something a little different.

This year's colours were inspired by the founder, Kim Smith, who very sadly passed away last year. She is the person who taught me to crochet, so it felt right to make some granny squares each day the way she showed me. I don't think I can really articulate the loss of such a loving and colourful person, and I'll be thinking of her whenever I wear this. It also works as a cozy blanket across my lap while I work at my desk.

Mum's Christmas gift - a big cozy poncho like mine! She loves dragons so I picked the most dragony colourway I could find and gave it a scaly scalloped edge!
