Dolls -
In a dystopian version of London, tiny humans known as dolls are bought, sold, and displayed like collectibles-stripped of their rights and humanity. Behind glass and beneath glittering lights, their pain is hidden beneath carefully curated perfection.
Sixteen-year-old Nyah has spent years in a store, forced into the role of a ballerina and silenced by fear. With her twin brothers at her side, she awaits the day someone will choose them-dreading what comes next. But when they're purchased by Luca, a quiet, grunge-loving teenager with grief in his past and kindness in his actions, Nyah begins to question everything she's been taught about humans, love, and survival.
As Nyah adjusts to a new kind of life, she encounters others-both dolls and humans-who blur the lines between cruelty and care, freedom and control. But danger is never far. In a world designed to keep dolls obedient, the cost of resistance is high, and trust can be deadly.
With tensions rising and secrets unraveling, Nyah must decide whether to protect the fragile peace she's found-or risk everything for a chance at something more.
