Sometimes a few mfs say something ignorant, so other mfs refute it—but their rebuttals are just a different type of ignorance, so once the topic goes viral, you get a lot of mfs taking sides between two ignorant opinions as if those two are the only ones a person can have.

The few mfs on both sides that make it go viral are loud, and the people who pick from said sides start finger-pointing because they lack empathy and critical thinking.

It's devastating to realize the majority of people in the U.S—not just the privileged but marginalized groups aswell aren't aware of the colonialism and imperialism that this government has inflicted on all non-white regions around the world.

The devastation deepens when other marginalized people in America fall for conservative propaganda and repeat that immigrants "aren't as strong as us" or "they're weak and scary" for emigrating when the truth is that U.S. occupation brought the terrorism they inflicted on yall over with them when they invaded and kicked it into overdrive with foreigners by backing military coups, genocides, and totalitarian regimes.

Jack felt his chest constrict painfully, and he looked away. His hands were shaking, he noticed. No, his whole body was.

Finally, he shook his head. He wasn’t planning on meeting Hiccup’s eyes, but when Hiccup placed his hands on his shoulders, he looked up in surprise. Hiccup’s grip was tight, and his gaze hard.

“What were you thinking?” he asked, and Jack almost recoiled at his tone. He sounded beyond shocked – he sounded almost hurt, like he was the disappointed one here.
