I had really ambitious plans for this time – so many things to do, lists, projects, meetings... But life had other plans, and I ended up under the blanket, fighting off a cold that really knocked me out. I honestly don’t have the energy to move.
Sometimes these situations are a good reminder to listen to our bodies. In the rush of everyday life, it’s easy to forget that, prioritizing obligations over ourselves. But this time, I’m choosing health and giving myself a moment to recover. We need to respect our bodies, as they’re what allows us to pursue our plans. So if you feel something’s off, slow down. We can always catch up, but we only have one health.

I’m back home and ready to go all in on growing my business on social media! I’m excited to start creating and sharing content on YouTube and TikTok, especially on a topic I’m passionate about – 3D modeling and printing. Here are a few tips I’ll be using to improve my video content about 3D modeling and printing:
1. Show the process step-by-step
People love seeing the details – start from the project concept, then showcase the modeling, printing, and finishing stages. Breaking down the process into clear steps makes it easy to follow and understand.
2. Create short, engaging intros
Especially on TikTok, the first few seconds need to grab attention. On YouTube, it’s also helpful to start with something intriguing, like a shot of the finished model or a surprising effect.
3. Experiment with close-up shots
Show print details from various angles – close-ups of the printer in action, the texture, and print quality. This lets viewers “experience” the physical aspect of the work.
4. Explain technical aspects in simple terms
Even people new to the technology can get interested if complex terms (like filament types or modeling software) are broken down in a clear, accessible way.
5. Provide educational value
Share tips and tricks – how to avoid errors, improve print quality, and choose the best software and hardware for 3D modeling and printing. These “insider secrets” build trust and loyalty.
6. Experiment with different content formats
Try longer tutorials or vlogs on YouTube, while focusing on quick tutorials, before-and-after shots, short reviews, or hacks on TikTok.
7. Tell a story – even with technical videos
Stories are key to viewer engagement. Share the story behind each model, challenges that came up, and how they were solved. This personal touch makes the content more relatable and interesting.
8. Encourage interaction
Ask questions, invite feedback on a model, or offer project ideas. The more interactive the content, the more likely viewers are to keep coming back.
I hope these tips will be useful both for you and for me as I begin this journey. Wish me luck!

and how can you not love Norway?

For the past two months, I've been constantly on the move, traveling from one place to another. Now, in just a few days, I'm off again for what will be my final trip for a while—this time to Norway! I absolutely love Norway, so I'm beyond excited, but I’d be lying if I said I’m not feeling a bit worn out by this life on the road.
Living out of a suitcase can be thrilling, but it also has its challenges. Here are a few tips that have helped me keep my sanity:
1. Pack Light and Smart: Stick to versatile pieces that you can mix and match. It makes packing and unpacking way easier.
2. Create a Routine: Even with constant travel, try to establish some small routines, like a quick morning workout or journaling. It can make you feel grounded, even in a new place.
3. Take Time for Rest: Schedule a day (or even just a few hours) in each location to recharge. Exploring is fun, but remember to pace yourself.
Can't wait to be back in beautiful Norway, but also looking forward to some time at home.

Does anyone else feel like they’re always preparing, but never doing? Like, I know what skills I want to develop. I know what I should be working on. But instead of actually starting, I find myself endlessly scrolling through tutorials and watching “how to” videos, convincing myself that I’m learning — that I’m getting ready.
Except... I never actually feel ready.
And the longer I wait, the harder it gets to just start.
It’s like self-sabotage disguised as “research.” I keep telling myself, “I’m not prepared yet,” or “I need to learn this one more thing,” when in reality, it’s just fear — fear of failing, of not being perfect, of stepping outside of the comfort zone of passive learning.
But here's the truth I’m trying to accept: No amount of watching videos is going to prepare me for the work I want to do. The only way to get better is to actually do it. Even if it’s messy. Even if it’s far from perfect.
I don’t have to be ready. I just have to start.

(( It's like anti-studyblr post, so be careful! ))
I would love to write here now how great my return to productivity, fulfilling my duties and planning is going. but it's not totally like that. I haven't had such a strong mental encounter with a wall in a long time. so many things are overwhelming me. I went for a walk and I'm trying to get myself back together. At least autumn is kind to me.

Returning to reality is hard. That's why I'm giving myself this day to 🌿 calmly 🌿 sort myself out and recover from such a great vacation.
đź“‹ Here's my to-do list for today:
- do all the overdue and current laundry,
- clean the living room and office (bedroom and bathroom tomorrow),
- unpack my backpack,
- plan the steps to take in the company for the next month,
- plan this week in detail.
since Wednesday evening my calendar is jam packed and i need to figure out how i can work and not neglect my other commitments. i also plan to go to my parents for a few days on sunday morning, so i need to prepare myself for a moment out of my life.

Last day of vacation today. Unfortunately, I woke up with a pounding headache because of the sudden drop in pressure overnight—it started raining unexpectedly, which definitely didn't help! Still, I’m feeling pretty accomplished. During the trip, I managed to get in some solid Norwegian practice and read two books. It all felt like a pleasure, not a chore, which is why I was able to fully relax.
I’m giving myself tomorrow to fully settle in and recover from all the traveling, but come Wednesday, I’m ready to take on some new challenges! This break was exactly what I needed—I feel so refreshed and now I’m excited to dive back into hard work.
Adding a photo from my road trip!

🌿 One Week Break Before the Grind Starts Again! 🌿
Hey!
I’m currently on a one-week break from work, and I’m taking full advantage of it to recharge before diving back into the grind. It’s so important to slow down and give yourself some rest—something I’m trying to get better at!
During this week, I’ve been reading "Think Like a Monk" by Jay Shetty, and it’s been so inspiring! It’s all about applying the wisdom of monks to modern life, and I thought I’d share some key takeaways that have really resonated with me so far:
1. Train Your Mind: Jay talks about how we can shape our thoughts through consistent practice. Just like monks meditate, we can train our minds to focus on what matters, quiet negative thoughts, and cultivate gratitude.
2. Let Go of Expectations: A big lesson in the book is to let go of society’s or other people’s expectations. The key is to live according to your values and what fulfills you, rather than chasing things to impress others.
3. Purpose Over Passion: Jay emphasizes that finding purpose in what you do is more sustainable than relying solely on passion, which can come and go. Purpose gives you clarity and motivation to keep going even when things get tough.
4. Rituals and Routines: Monks are big on routines, and Jay encourages readers to create morning and evening routines to ground themselves. It’s all about creating a space for mindfulness and reflection, even if it's just for a few minutes.
5. Gratitude and Service: One of the most beautiful concepts in the book is the idea of finding joy through service to others. Gratitude and kindness not only make a difference in other people’s lives but also boost your own sense of happiness and fulfillment.
I’m planning to incorporate a few of these ideas into my daily life when I get back to work next week—especially the routines part. I feel like that’s going to help me stay grounded during the busy season ahead.
Stay focused and take care of yourselves! ✨

reading my last post, I noticed how much has changed! firstly, I recovered from the surgery, everything is great now. secondly, we decided to have a cat. even though I am a dog lover, I agreed on one breed - the Canadian sphinx - and I have to admit that she is a dog in cat's clothing. We have already managed to teach her to sit, give a paw and walk on a leash. she makes friends with everything that moves and even sleeps with my parents' dog. thirdly - I started the company of my dreams and now I professionally deal with 3d models - virtual and physical, as well as dioramas and miniatures. it couldn't be better! and fourthly! I am going on a long-awaited vacation soon. now I am catching up on work so that I can rest for the trip. and fifthly - this year I will also travel to my beloved Norway! I am so happy about everything that I have managed to create and achieve so far. despite the surgery and pain at the beginning of the year, this is still one of the best times of my life! keep it up!
i feel like going back to tumblr, to regular posts like a journal and aesthetic photos. i really like this studyblr community, it's always motivated me a lot.
Welcome back, studyblr!

I didn't think the surgery would weaken me so much. But it was true. It's getting better every day, but the beginnings were difficult. I realized how enormous helplessness is when we are unable to do basic things, such as getting out of bed on our own. I faced very difficult emotions, but apparently I needed it because now I appreciate the present very much. I would like to thank my loved ones for all the help and care I have.
I'm starting to think about returning to my duties, but I still need some rest. Remember to take care of yourself. As much as you take care of your body and mental hygiene, your results will be very effective. That's why I'm just planning and mostly resting for now. I give myself time to regenerate.
Kisses,
Paola

The hard thing about being compulsively productive is coming to terms with the impossibility of being productive. In a few days I will be recovering from surgery, my brain can't cope with the thought of having to let go. Of course, I take language learning books and other hobbies with me, but that's just silencing my thoughts. During these few days before the surgery, I will try to learn to let go and give my body and brain a rest.

I have to plan my days in more detail because sometimes I get lost. I have to specify exactly what I have to do, otherwise I don't know when to finish or I finish after the simplest form. Sometimes I avoid the most difficult tasks of the day, e.g. I postpone repairing the language change button on the website I am writing from one day to the next. I know I have to do it, but I avoid it like the plague. I am afraid of stopping at some point and not having the skills to solve this problem. It frustrates me, but at the same time I know that you learn the fastest with practice, so why do I avoid it so much? I need to ask myself questions like this more often.

My productivity has been very good since the new year. Together with my friends, we created an Excel spreadsheet in which we share information and fulfill our New Year's resolutions. We assign a "punishment" for each lack and symptom of laziness, e.g. buying someone a pizza. So far it's going great and I'm fulfilling my duties. But for the past 3 days I have been feeling worse, I have absolutely no desire to do anything. I'm just trying to get back together and planning for next week.
