Author's Note: I was lying awake and imagining how good it would feel to run into someone's arms and feel at home.

Four months. It had been four months since Percy had seen you last and he was suffering withdrawals. Everyone at school had noticed, the raven haired boy was far more irritable and moody when he missed you. He tried to control it, really he did, but just couldn’t stand being away from his pretty girl.

He remembers the last time he saw you very vividly. You were both in his cabin at camp, and he was heartbroken that you were leaving camp without him. So he kept kissing you to try to convince you to stay longer.

“I’ll miss you starfish.”

Kiss

“i’ll miss you too beach boy”

“Do you”

“go?”

You giggled against his lips and his heart melted as you tenderly took his face into your hands.

“I have to go, Percy. I promised my family I’d spend 2 weeks with them before the start of the semester.”

He leaned into your touch and pouted dramatically.

“Fine, but i’m not letting you out of my sight for two weeks when i finally see you again.”

You giggled again.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way, Darling.”

Now four months later, Percy still had that day committed to memory. The sweet sound of your laughter and the addictive taste of your lips was all he thought about.

So naturally he was ecstatic when he looked at the calendar and saw that you were finally coming to spend spring break with him in New Rome.

He spent all day with his phone in his hands, counting down the hours until he could go pick you up at the airport. (Thankfully you were not a major target of Zeus’s wrath)

Finally at 6:30 he goes into his car and drove to the airport. He made sure that he had extra time on the way there to buy you flowers and your favorite snacks to greet you with. He arrived to the airport at 7:30.

Meanwhile, you were on the plane, dying of excitement to see your goofy boyfriend once again. You had missed him so much, and all you could think of was the way he had held you in his arms and looked at you, like he was committing you to memory.

Naturally, you wanted to die while you waited for the plane to pull in, for people to gather their things, and file out of the plane as if they had all the time in the world. When you finally got out of the plane, you practically sprinted to baggage claim and then out of the airport, your eyes eagerly searching the crowd for Percy.

He spotted you first

“Y/n!”

You turned at the sound of your name and your face lit up as you ran into his arms.

“Percy!”

He beamed and ran towards you too, scooping you into his arms and spinning you around. (he made sure not to damage the flowers as he did so).

“I missed you, Pretty girl” he murmurs into your hair.

“I missed you too, Blue.” you whisper as you pull back to look at him.

He grins at you and pulls you into a deep kiss, pouring all the months of longing into your lips.

You hum contentedly, wrapping your arms more tightly around him as you reciprocate kiss.

He brushes his tongue across your lower lip, silently asking for entrance into your mouth.

You smile shyly and pull away, suddenly aware of all the people watching the exchange.

“Later” You say softly.

He groans but puts you down nonetheless, and you start to collect your bags.

“You can’t hold that, I need you to hold something for me.”

You shoot him a confused expression and presents the flowers to you, your favorite flowers.

Your lips break into a smile as you look at the pretty bouquet.

“Percy, you didn’t have to!” You say excitedly and kiss him sweetly.

He looks at you with a love struck expression.

“I know, but I wanted to. I’ll buy a million more just to make you smile like that.”

You laugh as he starts to pick of your bags.

“You are such a sap”

He somehow manages to smile wider at the teasing look in your eyes.

“Hurry up, let’s go home, before I kiss you in front of all these nosy mortals again.”

You smiled to yourself as Percy loaded your bags into the car, kissed your temple, and opened the car door for you. You were already home.
