Vietnam

- she loves plants and has a mini greenhouse in her house

- she gets very passionate about what she believes in and will always defend herself

- she loves her sisters to death and will always protect them no matter what

- she used to be very skinny and weak, so she took it into her own hands to gain muscle

- she will not back down from a fight so get ready to square up

- she has a difficult time learning languages, so both French and English are difficult for her

- she’ll randomly buy stuffed animals for her sisters when she sees something that reminds her of them

- is really into LARP and makes his own armor (out of cheap leather and sometimes duct tape) and also his own weapons (usually duct tape and foam but sometimes Sweden will help him out)

- He is shitty at braiding and always rage quits, leaving the hair he was practicing on in knots

- he collects various types of chia pets and calls it his “garden”

- when people try to flirt with him, he’ll send various pictures of people named Richard, calling them his “Dick pics”

- every time he’s in America he has to go to Olive Garden for the breadsticks

- loves Full House

- is a big fan of searching up cake fails on the internet

Saudi Arabia

- she has a pet tiger that she cuddles with but will also sic it on fuckboys

- has a genuine love for stationary, her themes usually involve white, black, silver, and gold. She’s really gotten into the marble covered journals recently

- she has four phones: one for work inside her country, one for for international business, one for personal use, and one for blackmail

- her hijab matches her outfit perfectly, she gets custom made colours 

- has different coloured pens to match her mood

- was one of the first women in her country to obtain a driver’s licence and loves going on long road trips for the hell of it

- she and America have a competitive relationship built on capitalism and popularity

Romania

- he would sharpen his teeth to points as a kid, and now he just go some fangs surgically installed to freak people out

- he’s the biggest Harry Potter fan and will sort people into houses when he firsts meets them

- he loves garlic but pretends to be allergic so he gets a lot of free garlic from people America who fear him 

- he likes to shorten people’s names to a single syllable and then repeat it as their nickname (Antonio becomes no-no, Feliciano is li-li, etc.)

- sometimes he’ll babysit Iceland, and they’ll create campaigns for dungeons and dragons together

- he’ll usually be the dm when he does play, but loves to try and fuck with the dm when he’s a player

- he has a closet with bat wallpaper and a full length mirror

- on that mirror is a sticker of a clowns nose so when you look in it all you see is yourself wearing a clown nose surrounded by bats

Hong Kong

- he had lots of rubik’s cubes to play with during meetings before fidget spinners became cool, and now he has a collection of fidget spinners that he uses unironically

- pretends to like tea for the sake of both of his dads, but actually hates hot drinks with a passion

- he loves iced coffee and bubble tea, and is a secret ho for a unicorn frappuccino

- he has a finsta and usually just posts pictures of China’s face zoomed in closely with no caption

- once upon a time he had a pet iguana but he accidentally left his window open and its gone now

- if someone asks him his last name in front of his dads, he combines them so they won’t bother him about “who’s the better parent”

- this only results in them getting pissed off because he calls himself Leon Wangland

America

- he was always interested in how things worked, and had a fanboy crush on Ben Franklin for the longest of times

- what really peaked his interest was when he started experimenting with glasses and all the sudden wow he could see so much better now

- he likes to work personally on projects in his country, and has donated a lot of his pocket change to studies and inventors

- he loved going to world’s fairs, and would drag England and Canada around to look at all the cool new stuff everyone was doing

- because of his type of dyslexia, numbers make more sense to him than anything, and mental math is super easy for him to do

Russia

- has a deep passionate love for chemistry because of its organization 

- associates science with progression and authority therefore he has only ever viewed it as a possitive

- respects Russian scientists more then political leaders sometimes 

- for the longest time he didn’t know/understand math (because old eastern Europe) but science has gotten him interested in it. Math is now a very fun thing for him and he naturally excels at it

- science has taught him to appreciate the world and its complexities 

Prussia

- despite his very religious background, he was a strong advocate of the sciences within his country, especially anatomical and biological studies

- math is something he enjoys, but he also likes the observational aspect of science

- he’s kept journals all his life, so keeping research notebooks isn’t difficult for him at all

- while he was in the Soviet Union, he and Belarus helped out with the space race, where they both took care of the stray dogs used in various experiments

- he gets nervous in labs because he’s afraid he’ll break or contaminate something

Ireland

- doesn’t understand why you would have to get another calendar every year. he feels he’d forget too many dates, birthdays and other important events by getting a new one, and by throwing them away he would cause them to loose their significance/be disrespectful

- has two Irish setters at any given time

- wishes he could live on the ocean and and has had a house boat before but now just settles for fishing everyday

- loves to be around his citizens and prefers their company to nation’s 

- doesn’t like to over complicate things and believes that a simple, self-sufficient lifestyle is all anyone needs

- needs reminders from his brothers that he needs to cut his hair or it’ll grow into a long shaggy mess

- does free handy work for his older citizens such as redoing their roof or helping them manage their lawn

France

- enjoys making Canada and America soup when they are sick

- is the one to initiate a family portrait or photo

- when talking to England, always refers to America or Canada as “your son” when they’ve done something wrong

- likes to cook family dinners when they are all in his country

- tries to speak to the North American brothers in French but ends up regretting it because of their accents (especially Canada’s Quebec one)

America

- usually forgot France’s name

- ate a pile of dirt for no reason as a kid

- stole all the blankets from Canada as a kid

- likes to drive the rest of the family around his country

- buys them all elaborate (and useless) birthday gifts

Canada

- gives people fresh maple syrup for holidays in hopes they’ll stop using table syrup

- was sick a lot as a child

- when upset by England or France, will mutter under his breath passive aggressive comments

- likes to play board games with all of them

- was the kid who was really interested in bugs

England

- England’s always the first to wake up

- he uses this time to read in privacy or enjoy the time in the gardens

- he liked to tell bedtime stories to both America and Canada

- he was an impulse buyer with children’s toys and clothes, so both Canada and America had plenty of both

- he still tries to fix up both America and Canada’s hair when he sees them, especially in public

BONUS

Seychelles 

- she’s learning how to play ice hockey from Canada

- acts as a translator for England and France when they won’t speak the other’s language out of spite

- she tried to like tea for the sake of England, but couldn’t do it

- always brings fresh fruit to people as a greeting gift

- she and America surf and swim together

A bitter sharpness was the taste of rum, to the untrained drinker, the sensation would be kin to drinking fire. He was not an amateur. To him, it was the aqua vitæ, as it was to most military men. Yet he differed from some sailors in the way of the quantity he drank. Drinking was an enjoyable pastime but nothing outside of that, he more so like to exercise constraint over it. The taste is sharp after being patient. Now and then he’d tease himself with a dram or two, more to remember the taste, only to go for months as a sober surrounded by drunks. A drunk captain was a stupid captain; a man who could be bested by even a child with a sword. He was much better than that. 

Yet no alcohol in all of the world could compare to the intoxicating promise of a woman’s lips. It was a finer taste than anything else could offer him, still it was not completely satisfying into itself. Love made a man weak in the way a drunk is, both cloud judgement. Sex does not make a man weak in any way, shape, or form; to him, it was a pastime designed for him, therefore it can’t make him weak. He felt no emotional unity in sex, he’d pushed that concept far away a while ago, the action was for his gratification. Being the nation of sex meant the word “satisfied” was meaningless. Just as a drunk looks for the next bottle after finishing one, he looked for the next person after finishing one. It was always in the forefront of his mind. He viewed humans as inferior in the matter of sex which made them easily forgettable and a target prey.

Belgium

- loves Victoria Secret, and goes to all of their sales

- she can climb trees faster than anyone else

- extremely invested in stem cell research, and has long conversations about it with America

- bakes his dogs treats whenever he feels sad for leaving them alone after being away for an extended amount of time

- likes to obnoxiously sing songs in the shower when he thinks he’s alone, they’re usually marching songs

- enjoys coffee and a small piece of cake during the mid day

- when he’s very stressed, he’ll smoke but tries not to make a habit out of it

- in order to be able to manage his money, he has a separate bank account for Prussia so half his money isn’t gone randomly. Prussia doesn’t know this

- owns multiple pairs of flannel, button-down pajamas that has patterns on them (like rubber ducks, snowflakes, rainbows, ect.)

Early Evening, 22 September 1748

A pale shade of pink, the colour of blush, powdered the taffeta dress. It was a fine dress for the time, a popular style with hand embroidered roses and fleur-de-lis to personalize it. Francis had designed it for himself in a fashion to which would give him the illusion of a feminine shape, along with applying makeup to aid with what the dress was to accomplish. One of the biggest sacrifices of being a woman was shaving but he must look the part, as well as enduring the slight shaping of his eyebrows and filling in his lips slightly. He was committed to playing the part, and he pulled it off well. 

The violin sang as courtiers danced, their elegance not lost. He typically didn’t go to these types of gatherings, the people repulsed him, but he was not here to dance with anyone from his country. Behind a handcrafted fan, his purple eyes drifted from person to person, looking for someone amidst the crowd of color. The only way he was getting through this was under the mask of makeup; François Bonnefoy wasn’t allowed to attend, but a pretty woman who had insisted she was invited somehow managed to get in. If one is fluent in nobility and sensuality, they can gain access to anywhere in this sullied artificial world.
