A lot of pop psychology gets thrown around and since I already have a headache, here's preventing you lot from making it worse.

Love-bombing: A manipulation tactic of increasing affection and grand gestures before or after doing something abusive, specifically to weasel one's way out of consequences.

What it is not: A streak of affection and generosity towards friends/loved ones.

Trauma-bonding: Knowingly traumatizing someone to take advantage of their vulnerable state, to then act like the "hero" or the one who cheers them up.

What it is not: Bonding over similar traumas.

Gaslighting: *Knowingly* convincing someone they cannot trust their own perception of a situation in pursuit of one's own narrative.

What it is not: Misaligned perception of events.

Narcissist: Someone afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, a traumagenic cluster B disorder, that struggles with self-obsession, paranoia, craving validity from the public, delusions of grandeur, and social disconnection.

It is not: Your rubbish ex that cheated on you.

Trans men who call themselves sapphic or lesbians aren't invalidating or misgendering or transphobic towards themselves, btw... no trans man is forcing lesbians to be with them. Literally no lesbian has to date a trans man if they don't want too plus vice versa... idk what's so hard to understand here 😭

I hate it when there’s non-sexual and artistic nudity on tiktok and all the comments are pissing themselves cause of it.

“b-but I’m a minor!!” do you scream and cry every time time you take a shower or change your clothes????? and the nudity isn’t even detailed cause, yk, it’s tiktok for fucks sake.

but on the other side of the same coin there’s the even more immature mfs who make it sexual when it genuinely isn’t.

I saw a post of the art trend, “what emotions I feel the most” where people color different parts of the body relating to different emotions, and a specific post had the fear and disgust colors on a very very non-detailed vulva and all the comments were something along the lines of “the pussy of fear and regret”, “oh!”, “why are the colors there?”, etc. it wasn’t even a joke post it was a genuine vent post and art which I assume is related to some kind of trauma(s).

god, I hate immaturity and purity culture.
